Finally Free
Who: Kaito Watari and YOU! Open of all the people
Where: The Cancer District
Summary: Kaito is finally feeling better and he's out wandering the town, but mainly in the Cancer district. Backdated to the 20th.
Warning: X-treeeeeeeeeeeeeeeme silliness
It was a little warmer, and Kaito was feeling less sick, so clearly this was his chance to go outside and get some fresh air. Yes.
This was clearly the best time to window shop in the Cancer district instead of going to, let's say, somewhere more outdoorsy. Like a park. How about it, Kaito? Feel like going to a park?
...No? Just going to press your face against the glass and stare at all the cool shit?
Alright then!

"Kaito."
A wild Yamato with a very flat tone. He is not amused by Kaito smearing his face all over the windows. Ugh. Haven't you heard of germs? Disgusting. But, there was something more important to address...!
"I see Alcor has let you out of the apartment. Did he leave the door unlocked?"

If you feel like someone is watching you - like, from a foot and a half away, tops - don't worry, it's just a tentacle monster that is also a little girl.

They paused beside Kaito, looking into that window too, at all the cool things that were there, and absently re-folded those big wings again, slipping whatever that winter coat looking thing was -- a cloak? poncho? -- down behind them, letting it rest on their arms and wings' shoulders. And then they made a quiet sound, looking quickly over to a changing display of some kind on one of the items. It wasn't quite a whistle; it was a low, melodic, liquid burble of some kind, a soft little coo that fit the birdish impression well. It didn't last long, though; they quit about as soon as they realized they were doing it, blinking and looking away from the glowing display, to see what else was in that store.
Another brief moment passed, and they looked over again, finally addressing the human not too far away. "Excuse me... but...." Pointing at something in the store, "What are those things called...?"
Yup, newbie alert. And with that kiddish look of wonder on their face, perhaps more new to this all than most.

christmas thread gooooooo
There was tinsel haphazardly stuck to random things in exact geometric patterns, ornaments hanging off the curtain rod in the absence of a tree, and a stack of presents that all seemed to be the exact size and shape. The one in the shiny-gold wrapping paper had Kaito's name neatly printed on it.
Of course, as had been common lately, he'd gotten tuckered out pretty soon after turning the apartment in to a gaudy mess, and had crashed on the couch.
...it may be a better idea to open the presents now, rather than later.
