Summary: Resolution: job hunting!

[Throghout history, people have asked themselves a variety of meaningful, existential questions. Why are we here? Are we human? Why is that guy in 'Payphone' running?]
[Today, Mahiro Yasaka joins the doubtful masses. A piece of paper and a pencil are in front of his desk. He tried downloading one of those New year's resolution apps, but given his reading habits, Mahiro admits to having a soft spot for physical, occasionally moldy paper. Why do so many Lovecraft books come in those?]
[Unfortunately, Mahiro doesn't have much in the way of aspirations. Not here. A year ago, he would have wished for something unusual, perhaps. Stand out just a little. But the tide of otherworldly ocurrences that has come upon him has forced him to adopt a mentality that seeks nothing but the normal. He knows he won't get that here. Taking that into account, should he...?]

[Mahiro's not having a great day. He's certainly having an educative one. Who'd have thought modern society had such a large need of dieners and dog sniffers? Unfortunately, while Mahiro doesn't consider his standards the highest, he does believe certain jobs are incompatible with him.]
[Despite his single resolution encompassing oh so many things (including his relationship with the single person here he considers something like a friend), Mahiro's not exactly sure where to start. Is it adjusting if he doesn't turn as bizarre as the rest of this place, but simply learns to take it in stride? Are there even any jobs that would allow him to do that? Newspaper says 'no'.]
