It was obviously a dangerous mission, and hidden away by the cover of the reddish tint of the 13th hour. With most of the city still focused on what had happened during the tournament and the Anoli, there was little question to the disappearing Seven and Wisemen...or if they had noticed at all.

But eventually that would readily turn into questions, and the panic and confusion that could ensue might be dangerous. Thus it was time for a little trip into the temple that once yielded no answers and see what exactly had happened...and hopefully able to stage a rescue attempt. But what did the Mictlan have for them in store, and would they be able to get in at all? It was hard to judge.

As the Visitors arrived, they were ushered into the front doors of the temple in the center of the ghost town. Most of the demons were being kept at bay, in a bid to better keep their strengths and powers.

For who knew what they might need in there...the video had cut off so many times, after all.

"Well, it can tell where the shiny things are and it can tell where the stabby things are. That help any?" he asks hopefully.

"Um..." Not... entirely, Guybrush. "Can it tell the strengths and weaknesses of enemies?"

"Not as such, no." He scratches his head. "But it can distract things while we run away in the other direction very very fast."

[greatseal]

"That'll be a big help if we have to retreat, but I hope we won't have to."

She doesn't want another failed mission on her watch. They can't leave those four in there for much longer. "Can you talk to others telepathically?"

"Er, am I supposed to be able to?" He asks, scratching his head.

Guybrush. Guybrush. You're killing her, here.

"The Support persona user that I knew could... but that's all right."

Okay. One final hope. "I heard that support users here can see our 'destiny strings,' can you do that?"

"Oh, you mean those weird colored stringy things I see on everybody when the poultry's out? Yeah, I can see those," he replies confidently. "Makes everybody kinda look like they're fishing bait or something."

[greatseal]

That's a pretty weird analogy but she decides to just ignore and not dwell on the mental image. "What about the missing people? Can you see theirs? It might help us to find them, if they're not right behind the door."

"Huh. I hadn't thought of that. Lemme take a look." He squints, looking around for anything of note. "There's a lot of them, mind. I wonder which ones are theirs?"

[greatseal]

"Probably, any ones that head down towards the door..."

She doesn't really know how this ability works, though, so it's up to Guybrush.

Squinting, squint... "Hmm. I definitely see a cluster of 'em in that general direction. I think that's where we're supposed to go, right?" He sort of waves in a specific direction.

[greatseal]

"I think so, too. That's great! I hope they'll be close when we get past the door, but if you can see their strings then we can get them out fast even if they're being kept somewhere."

He frowns. "We better hightail it. I see 'em, but barely. They seem a lot thinner than guys who've been here that long ought to be."

"...Right."

That definitely adds to the urgency. But at least they're alive... and if they're alive, they can be saved.
