It was obviously a dangerous mission, and hidden away by the cover of the reddish tint of the 13th hour. With most of the city still focused on what had happened during the tournament and the Anoli, there was little question to the disappearing Seven and Wisemen...or if they had noticed at all.

But eventually that would readily turn into questions, and the panic and confusion that could ensue might be dangerous. Thus it was time for a little trip into the temple that once yielded no answers and see what exactly had happened...and hopefully able to stage a rescue attempt. But what did the Mictlan have for them in store, and would they be able to get in at all? It was hard to judge.

As the Visitors arrived, they were ushered into the front doors of the temple in the center of the ghost town. Most of the demons were being kept at bay, in a bid to better keep their strengths and powers.

For who knew what they might need in there...the video had cut off so many times, after all.

Nikolai wasn't sure what to expect, but that summed up his whole experience in Hinoto-ri to date. He stood at the entrance of the temple, looking it over, particularly the exits in case something went badly. Luckily for him, he was uninjured in the Anoli attack, so he already figured he may have to fight on behalf of those still healing. If he was armed, he wasn't making it obvious.

"So. Where do we start?"

Palutena is following the group in, but hanging back slightly. She just intends to observe and offer support. But they seem to have enough fighters in this group so she's not really concerned. Yet.

"I suppose we start by going in. And there only seems to be one entrance..."

[doesasordered]

He nodded. "Which means we should have some people wait back here and make sure the exit stays secure. Perhaps the more injured among us."

[poorfueleconomy]

"It couldn't hurt. But it would be best for someone with combat skills to take that position."

And somehow she doesn't think that anyone in this group could be convinced to stay behind.

"I could do it if need be, but I'd rather go inside. Do you know anything about this place? What's occurred here in the past?"

"As far as I know, this is only the second time it's been explored. But we all saw what happened to the first attempt..."

"From what I know, it's dangerous enough just getting here, so exploring this place wouldn't be easy."

She gives him an amused smile.

"Did you really expect it to be?"

"I suppose not. But I also wasn't sure what to expect at all. This town... It's full of surprises."

Although rescuing wasn't particularly his "thing", Eggman followed in his Egg Mobile. The wrecking ball had been torn off from the Anoli fights, leaving nothing for the doctor to attack with. It still functions, though. The doctor leaned forward down from his seat in the mobile's cockpit has he addressed Nikolai.

"This is supposed to be a rescue mission, isn't it? I propose that we have all the fighty types rush in, take care of the danger, and let us pick defenseless civilians. Hm?

Nik looked over the strange man in the strange machine, but his expression was flat as usual. He does remember seeing it in action at the arena, though.

He nodded. "Simply put. But do we know what's inside? All I know about it is what we saw in the video. Before that, I was barely aware of this place."

"Nothing pleasant, that's all we can say for sure." Even Eggman didn't appreciate dealings with the eldritch. Leaning against his seat, he gives a sigh and a frown.

"I wouldn't fret. Sure, they're certainly nastier than the Anoli or whatever people, but you people wouldn't come here if you didn't think you could pull this off, right?"

"Yes, I suppose you're right. Though mostly the reason I came along was because I know a lot of people are still injured from the Anoli attack. I was not, so I figured I at least owed it to help."
