It was obviously a dangerous mission, and hidden away by the cover of the reddish tint of the 13th hour. With most of the city still focused on what had happened during the tournament and the Anoli, there was little question to the disappearing Seven and Wisemen...or if they had noticed at all.

But eventually that would readily turn into questions, and the panic and confusion that could ensue might be dangerous. Thus it was time for a little trip into the temple that once yielded no answers and see what exactly had happened...and hopefully able to stage a rescue attempt. But what did the Mictlan have for them in store, and would they be able to get in at all? It was hard to judge.

As the Visitors arrived, they were ushered into the front doors of the temple in the center of the ghost town. Most of the demons were being kept at bay, in a bid to better keep their strengths and powers.

For who knew what they might need in there...the video had cut off so many times, after all.

Miki was here. How could she not? Yukari-senpai wasn't there herself, but her dad was and she'd never forgive herself if she didn't attempt anything.

She'd been watching the Arisato twins argue with Kandori over the network and silently fumed at how he made her angry. The nerve of that guy! The student was in her nightly outfit, the SEES banner around her right shoulder (she hadn't forgotten it this time!), weapon chain hidden away in her sleeves. When she walked in, she was visibly impressed by what she saw inside.

"It's...much bigger than I imagined."

The SEES members definitely stick out a bit with their armbands, but Minako doesn't mind. It's tradition, and good luck before a battle.

She walks alongside Miki as the younger girl speaks up.

"It's a bit different from Tartarus, isn't it?"

"There's a lot less...blood for one."

That was one way to put it. Not that Miki minded Tartarus, but compared to what they had seen (all the crazy drug-induced of it all), this felt more like she was in Raiders of the Lost Arc.

"And how are you feeling, Minako-senpai?"

"I really sort of... tuned that out." Green sky and pools of mysterious red liquid don't phase her anymore. Is that bad?

"I'm doing great! The turnout here is a lot better than I expected. I think we'll be fine." Even without a dedicated support person, there were enough people who knew what they were doing and ready to contribute.

"Aroo..." Koromaru was wandering around when he heard the comment from Miki, so of course he was going to say something! His knife was stowed away for right now and he'd gotten some help with his armor, but he'd remembered the SEES armband, too. No way he'd forget that! though how the heck did it stay on?

It was still pretty strange to see Koromaru on their side, but at least the SEES armband was making Miki a little bit more relaxed.

Not that she had any idea of what he was saying.

"Well uh...I guess we'll do our best, right?"

"Arf!"

It's okay, Miki. He's used to people not understanding him. That's why he normally listens to a conversation instead and pick up on more French and Spanish I mean uh. Either way, yep! All they can do is their best or go back home, and he isn't looking to do the latter.

"Hmm, I've seen bigger." Elaine commented, remarkably casual. "If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it's the... second biggest temple of doom I've ever seen."

"..." she stared back at Elaine, incredulous. "...should I even be asking what the first one was like?"

Oh, dear, where does she even begin. "When you spend most of your adult life fending off the affecti- forces of a zombie-ghost-demon, you get to visit all sorts of places, including more hellmouths than I care to remember."
