It was obviously a dangerous mission, and hidden away by the cover of the reddish tint of the 13th hour. With most of the city still focused on what had happened during the tournament and the Anoli, there was little question to the disappearing Seven and Wisemen...or if they had noticed at all.

But eventually that would readily turn into questions, and the panic and confusion that could ensue might be dangerous. Thus it was time for a little trip into the temple that once yielded no answers and see what exactly had happened...and hopefully able to stage a rescue attempt. But what did the Mictlan have for them in store, and would they be able to get in at all? It was hard to judge.

As the Visitors arrived, they were ushered into the front doors of the temple in the center of the ghost town. Most of the demons were being kept at bay, in a bid to better keep their strengths and powers.

For who knew what they might need in there...the video had cut off so many times, after all.

"I don't think we should all stand too close while we think about it." They might not be able to open it, but whatever is on the other side definitely can. "But Guybrush-san is probably on the right track. Maybe we need to think back to the video... There might have been something they did that we haven't yet."

While they're all poking and prodding for puzzles and hidden doors, Palutena is going to close her eyes and concentrate. Her all-seeing eye has only been working properly during the dark hour lately. And she doesn't know if it can penetrate the temple. But it can't hurt to try.

She's directing her sight to just the area on the other side of the door, hoping that proximity will increase her chances of success.

Ruri sighs as several screens flicker to life around her and just hang in the air as she starts looking on the walls for odd indentations or runes.

"Either that or look for seemingly useless badges or crests. I'm starting to take note of everything around here."

As for Selphie, she has no idea. Puzzles are the last thing on her mind. Still, she wanders back and forth, frowning in concentration like something might suddenly occur to her, "Okay... Are we sure we can't just blow up the door?"

Loken stays quiet for the moment, in back organizing the fire lanes for Ferrus and himself. He's not a support Persona user (Though to be fair nobody really catches him using a persona in the first place). The only sound to be heard from the silent wolf is the low purring of his powered armor, battered though it is.

Strangely enough, as Atsuro touches the symbols and the edge of the giant door at the same time, the delicate touch causes a chain reaction. The glowing symbols becoming brighter and brighter until they fade away...taking a gigantic chunk of wall with them. Huh...

Wait. That meant that the door was already opened?

That was quick.

From their standing point, they could see that the thickness was almost a small tunnel in itself; there would have been no way for them to be able to push or explode their way in. Yet somehow that had done the entire job for them.

Kandori didn't seem too perturbed by the temple's chain reaction.

"So the more they attempted to push, the more it resisted. All it needed was a single touch of a finger." Well, that was as much 'praise' as Atsuro would ever get. It was more like he was talking to himself, really.

Without waiting for anyone else, he just continued right in, as strange torches began to light up row after row of bright bluish flames until they were pale dots in the far back. There was going to be a lot of walking for them to arrive anywhere, that was for sure. But still, those with better hearing could listen for the sounds of waterfalls, far, far off.

"Good job!" Reiko chimed to Atsuro with a grin. Well, if Kandori wasn't going to praise him, she certainly would.

When did Reiko get there? Why, she'd been there the whole time, you'd silly observers! Apparently she had been talking to the officials with Kandori, and was outfitted with her full COMP equipment. No weapon though. No need for a weapon when you had demon tamers.

Nevertheless, she followed right after Kandori, motioning for the rest of the group to follow.

So it WAS a puzzle. Huh. Sighing lightly, Nikolai shook his head. "I wonder if the whole place will be like this..."

He decided to let the rest of the group go first, and he'd watch the back. Time to play guard.

"...I could've figured that out," Guybrush grumbles. Dang it, he's the one with the most experience with useless puzzles, he should've been able to do that.

He mopes a bit, shifting back into Chicken-radar mode to keep an eye out for anything bad.

"And Atsuro continues to be the plot advancer," Kazuya said proudly, almost as if it was him who had magically opened the door. Hey, his sidekick's best friend's accomplishments were like his accomplishments by association, or something.

There there, Guybrush. At least you tried to show some interest in the puzzle and had hands to do it with! The puppy believed in your ability! So no moping, please. :( We have a job to do.

Koromaru barks, as if glad his new friend figured it out.

A blue haired woman appears behind Ruri as her eyes flash with electricity, she starting to follow the group inside.

"I have my persona and Omoikane ready."

Atsuro, on his part, tries not to look too smug as he walks in behind Kandori and Reiko, though the casual observer may be forgiven for thinking the Japanese schoolboy is undergoing some sort of odd transformation into the Cheshire cat. The cat eyes didn't help.

"And people say gaming is a waste of time."

He will eventually stop grinning long enough to assess the situation.

"...You guys hear that? The video we saw started off with waterfalls. We've gotta be on the right track here."

That was it? Seriously? Miki blinked for a few seconds in silence before giving a small sigh and walking in after the others. Maybe she WAS a little disappointed, but who knew what lurked after that...

Palutena isn't about to complain that something is too easy. She's pretty sure there'll be plenty of difficult things ahead to make up for it. She follows the group in cautiously.

"Hades Pattern Cover spread, Ferrus." Loken raises his bolter, and scans the middle distance for targets.

"It might be helpful if you used, uh... normal descriptions since the rest of us don't have any idea what that means. ...So we don't run in front of your arrows or anything."

Atsuro glances back towards the humongous soldier.

Ruri shrugs and replies in her usual deadpan tone.

"Stand behind the giant wall of meat and armor and let him blow things up before moving on?"

Her persona however stares in the direction of the faint threads as the girl looks at the group.

"I think that there may be something that way. Well, at least according to Yurika."

'Whoo hoo! That is awesome! Now it's time to go kick some butt!"

Selphie jumped up and down, clearly pleased to be on a real mission now, a possibilty of a fight just around the corner. She swiftly pulled her nunchaku out of her rucksack and slung them over her shoulder just in case. She wasn't at the front of the group, but moved a good pace somewhere in the middle.
