Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
There was still so much cleanup to do. What a perfect time for your HORUS detection systems to start warning you that another group of people were forthcoming.

The device allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and while it was being re-tuned to work with the appearing buildings, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

She should expect this from her friend, the one who would protect her from anything that would cause her harm. But the image of one of her dear friends going up against the likes of Spades...she's already living with the guilt of Yu being in the hospital due to protecting her, and Yukiko does not need another in there because of her.

"N-no, don't worry about me. I'm better off than some of the others. I know Yosuke-kun got injured pretty severely but those fangirls refuse to let him rest."

That's what happens when you spread a rumor in the city...it might come true and bite you on the ass.

Chie would gladly send herself to the hospital if it meant she had done it to protect her friends. Sadly, she has no such chance, and has to sit and learn that her friends are hurt.

Learning about Yosuke being injured is almost as painful to hear about as learning Yukiko's injuries. She'll never admit it unless she was on her death bed, but she cares for--wait. Fangirls?

"Are you joking? There is no way in the entire Universe that there is a place where Yosuke Hanamura, has fangirls!" Poor Chie, she just can't believe it's possible.

You wish.

Walking by them was a couple of girls, chatting away about something coming soon...it sounded like another installment of something called 'Junes Invasion'. And one of them had a copy of the first book in their arms. Yukiko saw this as her chance and rushed over to them.

"May I borrow that for a moment?"

The girl does and Yukiko shows Chie the cover of the book: that is Yosuke on there with Yu's hair and alien antenna on his head.

"It's because of this."

Twice now in the same day Chie's mind has been blown. First, she realized she's not in ~~Kansas~~ Inaba anymore, and now...and now Yosuke has fangirls. Where most people would probably just laugh at how silly the whole thing is...Chie feels herself getting a little angry. She doesn't even know why she would feel that way, it's just a strange feeling.

"He really has fangirls..." Chie just looks away for a moment, biting angrily into her skewer, calming down. It takes her a moment, but she turns back to her friend, letting out a long sigh.

"A-Anyways, Yukiko, where are you and the rest of the team staying? I have an apartment I guess..Lemme see.." She checks where she was assigned. "Libra 12-03."

"Are you alright? You don't look so good."

Leave it to Yukiko to think someone is not feeling well rather than jealousy. She's just worried, that's all.

"Oh, I lived there before the inn came here. I would assume everyone else lives there except for Yu-kun and Nanako-chan; their home came here as well."

Ready for surprise two?

"I-I'm fine!" Even if Chie truly understood the jealousy she feels she'd second guess explaining that to Yukiko. As it is the thought is too painful to for her to even think.

"The Amagi Inn..is here? And the Dojima's house?" Everything is hard to handle, but it's okay, with Yukiko and the rest of the Team, Chie knows she can get through it.

"Should you even be walking around, with that injury?" The concern is back in her voice, eating the last of her skewer and tossing it into a nearby trash can.

"I think the nurses said the same thing when I kept walking around in the hospital too."

Because she did it so much while sneaking into other people's rooms, they pretty much turned the other way. If they tied her down, she would've screamed.

"Yukiko!" Chie's probably about as bad as those nurses right now, half a second from dragging Yukiko back to the hospital on her own. "If you're injured you should be taking it easy!"

"Speaking of...why are you wearing that?" The only time Chie wore a kimono was during an important event. While Chie's alright with the change of topic, she's not going to just give up on her best friend's health so easily.

"I got off easy compared to everyone else."

At least she could walk around from the get go. Everyone else was mostly stuck in bed. Other than her, Rise was less harmed as well. When she questioned about her kimono, she was grateful for the topic change.

"This? I seem to wear it a lot even outside of work. I guess it's needed at least to spread the word about the inn; I'll be officially managing it starting on the 16th."

Ignoring how little sense that makes that her entire Inn is here, Chie is happy for her friend.

"That's amazing Yukiko.." They both were doing what they could to move on after the murder case, and it's great to see that Yukiko is so close to her's. Chie is still so far away, needing to finish high school and learn everything there is about being a police officer.

"Y-You should let me help out! I need something to do over here!" That and she doesn't want to leave Yukiko's side.

Out of one case and into another, it's like it would never end. Anyone else she would tell them not to worry and let them go doing whatever they needed to. But right now, she needed a friend. Yukiko smiled and gave Chie a hug in return.

"You don't need to ask."

The hug is unexpected, especially after she already realized that her friend is injured, but Chie still accepts this one, careful not to hug too tight.

"You don't have to worry Yukiko, we're together again." Even though for Chie, the two had just hung out, Chie's certain that it's been a while since Yukiko has seen her. Disregarding the impossibility of that, Chie knows she wants to be there for her best friend, to protect her from anything.

Together again.

Yes...but for how long this time?

Yukiko had to shoo that thought out of her head as she took her friend's hand into her own. Well, there's no time like the present. Even if it would only be for a day, she wasn't going to think about it and spend as much time as she could with her friends.

"Right...let's get going then."
