Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
There was still so much cleanup to do. What a perfect time for your HORUS detection systems to start warning you that another group of people were forthcoming.

The device allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and while it was being re-tuned to work with the appearing buildings, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

"Correct. I'm his twin sister." Which explains her startling resemblance to Yamato, which is more than what normal siblings should have.

After a quick glance, Miyako spots her dropped katana and walks over to pick it up.

"...Do you know where to get dry clothes?" As much as she like to do it herself, Miyako recognised that she doesn't know the area or the locals. Having a guide would benefit her in the long term. If Aoi turns out to be hostile, she will take care of it.

That would definitely explain things. While she nods, she also realizes that they need to have priorities here or else risk Miyako getting sick.

"They probably have an apartment set up for you already. If we go to the Town Hall, you can get your ID and the location of your room. There isn't any way to be sure, but... When I first arrived, some of my clothes and belongings were already stored there. Hopefully it will be the same for you." She watches Miyako, trying to judge if there was much of a height difference. If it came down to it, she wouldn't hesitate to lend the girl one of her kimono.

There might be some height difference. Miyako was only a little shorter than Yamato. Her boots was customised to give her a little extra height to make up for the difference.

Hearing about her belongings, Miyako quietly checked herself. Other than her clothes, her katana, wallet and phone was with her. The only thing missing was her phone charger and some knives.

"...Then we must make our way to the Town Hall." At very least, she can study the location and see what's around.

"It's this way. There's a nearby tram-station that will take us close to the Town Hall." It will not only be faster, but a little more protected that way. She begins picking her way up the hill again, although she frequently looks back to make sure that Miyako is following alright.

Miyako follows behind Aoi, making sure to keep the other girl in her sight. She might glance around, but Miyako is following along.

Although she tries hard not to be, Aoi is... admittedly curious about this girl. She hadn't even realized Yamato had a twin.

Well... It can't hurt to strike up a friendly conversation as they walk, right?

"Actually... It's a little funny. Your brother was one of the first people I met here when I first arrived, too."

Knowing her brother, Yamato wouldn't mention her so casually. It's not something both of them would bring up into a conversation.

"Is it? How long ago was it?"

The question would give her an idea on how long Yamato has been here.

"Let's see... It's been a little over a month, I think." She tilts her head up to the sky as she tries to recall. "But he was here for some months before I ever arrived."

"...I'll ask him once I find him." She will...after giving her brother a piece of her mind.

"Mm." Miyako must be worried about her twin brother... She can't imagine what it must be like, finding out your own twin has been somewhere else completely for whole months on end.

"You can probably contact him over the network. Oh, that's right - when we come here, we are given COMPs. I'm not sure exactly how they work, but if you go like this," she puts a hand to the side of her face, near her ear, summoning up the glasses lenses. "...Your screen appears, and you can send messages over a network that all of us visitors have access to."

Miyako is worried about her twin brother. It was just currently buried underneath her anger over what he foolishly did.

In her annoyance, Miyako almost didn't notice the COMP. She moved her hand near her ear, copying Aoi until it activates.

"I see...what are their other functions?"

"From what I can tell, we are able to communicate with video, audio, or text. There are anonymous features as well, and also ways to lock your communications with the person you are contacting. There might be a few other features, but... I'm not sure how to use them. I'm sorry."

"That will be fine." Miyako will have to experiment with it later. Being told of the various methods of communications, and most importantly the locking feature, was a good start.

"If there are other features, I will ask around."

"Someone will be able to help you, I'm sure of it." Aoi just... isn't really technologically capable enough to inform on any of the more complicated features, unfortunately.

"Ah- do you see the station up ahead? That's one of the tram stations. This one will take us to the Leo district, which is where most of the government offices are. Almost every line will take you to the main station in Leo, but the ones that don't connect with other lines that will."

Miyako looks up ahead, seeing the station Aoi pointed out.

"Yes, I can see the station." She will have to get a map of the tram's lines and where they connect at. Then she can plan how to move around the city with it. "And that's where we're going?"

"Yes, that's right. I can pay for the both of us this time." She takes out her ID as she speaks, and even lifts it a little so Miyako can see it clearly. "This is an ID card they give to each visitor - well, each visitor gets their own at least. You can pay for things with it, and it gives proof that you have permission to be out beyond the nightly curfew."

In the time it takes to dispense this important knowledge, they near the station. She swipes the card twice without hesitation. "There- now we can both get in. Hopefully a tram will be in soon."

"I will repay you later, Misato."

It's not out of the goodness of her heart. Miyako simply dislike being in someone's debt for too long. But first, she need to get her own ID card first.

"I take it night time after curfew is dangerous?"

"It's fine. Really! It's part of our jobs to help newcomers out, too." She waves her hand. "As for nighttime... That's when the demons become more active. The aggressive ones are more likely to attack people then."

Aggressive demons. Which means there will be no shortage of targets, once Miyako set up a training routine. "I take it the government have set up protective measures for the non-combatants?"

Oh, look. The tram is coming.

How convenient! She waits to step onto the tram before continuing, as the noise makes it a tiny bit difficult to carry on a decent conversation.

"Yes, that's right. Only certain people are allowed to be out beyond the curfew for that reason. However, Visitors like us are automatically given that right."

Miyako stepped onto the tram after Aoi, before turning her attention back to the other girl.

"...And why do we have that right?"

"If I had to guess, it's probably because we have the power to summon a Persona. It definitely gives us an upper hand in fighting against the demons."

As they talk, it's hard to ignore the looks they're getting - it's pretty clear from what they are discussing that they are both Visitors. But Aoi doesn't react visibly to this, carefully keeping her calm.

Miyako noticed the looks, but she gave a very good impression of ignoring them. The looks gave her a hint of what to expect in this city.

"Persona...I'm aware of the theory, but it's clear that you mean something else."

She takes a breath before beginning to explain. "Here, Persona refers to a power that is a part of your mind. If you find yourself in danger here, it will awaken to protect you. After that, it will always be present in the back of your mind, and you will be able to summon it to help you as you need it."

A power to protect themselves. Miyako knows how to fight very well, and she have her demons with her. But she knows better than to turn down the chance to learn new ways of defending herself.

Who knows, this power of the Persona could be more useful than she thought.

"So to awaken them, you have to be in danger?"
