Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city! They appear where you want them to appear.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.

[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
There was still so much cleanup to do. What a perfect time for your HORUS detection systems to start warning you that another group of people were forthcoming.

The device allowed everyone to spot abnormalities; and while it was being re-tuned to work with the appearing buildings, they could hone in on newcomers at a much faster pace. The leftover energy from the travel (commonly called Magatama Residue) gave them a few minutes to find them before it would flicker out.

Combined with the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult.

As the blips appear on your own radar function, it was also nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there. Speed was of the essence, after all.

[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

It's not everyday that some girl is calling out her name in their sleep.

It's also not everyday that you see someone that veeeery closely resembles Aigis. At least in terms of mechanical parts and all.

Bad weather be damned, Mitsuru had errands to run and groceries to get. But when she hears her name mumbled around a park bench, she can't help but stop and stare.

"...Sorry, but, why exactly are you calling my name?" She really should be questioning her mere existence, but this whole situation is bizarre enough that it's the first thing that comes out of her mouth.

Labrys looks towards the source of the voice. The sound and tone match the audio file for one of the people she's trying to find. Upon further scanning...yes!

The android brightens, standing up and closing the distance between her and the redhead.

"Mitsuru-san! You're alright!"

But she probably looks a little different, even a little shorter now.

Mitsuru looks Labrys over herself, noting how similar her structure was to Aigis'. This is no doubt a Kirijo production, but it didn't make sense that she'd know her, unless the programmers included files on Kirijo personnel themselves (which seems entirely frivolous in her opinion).

Could she be from Shinjiro's and Minako's version? Neither of them mentioned another Weapon being included in the team.

"Ah... yes, I am. But..." How does she word this so she doesn't sound entirely like a jerk?

"How is it that you've come to know me?"

Something seems wrong. Mitsuru looks confused. Did something happen-

"How? Well I-" She backs up a few steps, then slowly takes a single step forward until she's beside Mitsuru again.

There is no doubt this is Mitsuru. Everything matches, aside from a few details.

"I didn't think those shoes gave ya that much of a height difference."

"...Shoes?" Okay, this wasn't making sense. Why would her shoes matter to this girl? Unless... did she know her when she is older?

"Why don't we start with something simple." She wasn't privy to all of the files from the Development teams, but there might be another name or something that she came across that would click.

"What's your designation, or your name?"

Well, alright, if she needs to hear it all: "Fifth Generation Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon Labrys."

She decides a little more information wouldn't hurt. "I'm a part of your team now, the Shadow Operatives."

That means she's Aigis' prototype! And it only confirms some of her suspicions. But she shouldn't really grill the girl right away.

"I... don't know of any team by that name. Certainly not one that I am part of anyway."

A Kirijo working together with an Supression Weapon isn't a bad thing, but with so few details to work with, it's a little concerning and Mitsuru folds her arms over her chest. "Are you positive that it is me that you work with?"

"But it's the truth! Y'gotta believe me. You, me, Aigis, and Akihiko-san were just in Inaba! I...and...and I'm real sorry for causin' so much trouble, but I meant what I said! I'm gonna help you guys catch that crook."

She comes to a realization. "...Did they hack you too?" Wait, humans can't be hacked. But bad things do happen to them. "You ain't as tall as you should be."

She was starting to panic, and that's not good. "Hold on for a moment and calm down. There's a reasonable explanation for this." Of course, it would help to know what exactly it is.

"I don't believe that you're lying." She's far too passionate to lie about something like this. "However, while I know Akihiko and Aigis, I don't know the group that you're speaking of, nor have I been to Inaba before."

And she's bringing up the height issue again. If it really was that big of a difference, then what changed?

"What did this... other me look like?"

"Well, you were definitely taller. Ya wore a big, fluffy coat over top of a really tight outfit. It was pretty flashy!"

Dare she ask about her cohort?

"I... wore something like that?"

True, she has been finding the right things to wear difficult without her stylist around, but she's definitely sure that she'd be skinned alive by someone for wearing something like that. Fur and a tight outfit, oh god.

"...What of the others?"

"I dunno whatcha wear on a regular basis, but that's what you were wearing earlier. Aigis has a red tie on, and Akihiko-san's wearing boots, pants, and a big red cape." And apparently no shirt. Are they runnin' around here too?"

She steps closer, still scanning Mitsuru and trying to make sense as to why these changes exist.

"Akihiko's here, sans a cape." Seriously, was he trying to run around looking like a superhero or something? Geez. She needs to have a word with him. No capes in the future.

"I don't actually own a fur coat though. And Aigis, she isn't here, only has a bow, not a tie."

Whatever information will help, Labrys will provide! It's the least she can do. "No cape? Maybe something happened to it..."

The fact that Mitsuru doesn't own a fur coat doesn't compute, though. "What do you mean? Did something happen to her? My head's a mess trying to figure out what's going on, Mitsuru-san. I'm just tellin' ya what I know."

"...I don't think anything's happened to it. It would be the same case as owning the fur coat; he doesn't have a cape." Though why he'd own one in Labrys' version of things certainly warrants an explanation.

"Nothing that we know of. She just simply isn't here. The best we can do is hope and assume that she's safe and sound back in Iwatodai, along with our other comrades."

She sighs once, thinking. This isn't an exact copy of the situation with Minako, but it does remind her of it. "Alright. I know things may not add up between us, but from my understanding of this city and it's physics, this isn't terribly uncommon. You could be from a different version of our timeline, one in which..." How did Labrys put it? "...I'm taller and own a fur coat. That isn't saying that you're memories are wrong. It's just something that I, personally, have not experienced."

"Iwatodai? Is that where our headquarters are?" It's hard to think of the Shadow Operatives not existing, even though she's only just been introduced to the group.

"If what you're sayin's the truth...you're younger? Then that means Akihiko-san is younger too. I think I get it now."

"It may be. But for now, it's the location of SEES, a group dedicated to the eradication of Shadows and the Dark Hour." Revealing this much information might not be such a good idea, but if Labrys is who she says she is, then there's no harm.

"It's a possibility, considering that I don't believe we've met yet."

Despite being an anti-shadow weapon, Labrys has only faced one shadow: herself. Not the type that SEES deals with in their current timeline. But they're both embodiments of negative emotions that need to be dealt with.

"I'm bettin' that's what's going on, but I don't really understand."

Mitsuru pauses, bringing a hand to chin to think. They've defeated the Dark Hour in their time (and in Minako's time) so if she's from the future, it would make sense that Labrys wouldn't know about it. But she'll be getting familiar with the Dark Hour here, so she'd have to know what happened in the past.

"Don't worry. We have plenty of time to exchange information. But..." She glances around the park. "...Why don't we find some place less wet and public?"

"Oh!" While she can handle the rain, it's apparent that Mitsuru is getting soaked, and her body temperature's dropped slightly.

"Just point me in the right direction. I can take us quick." She pauses. "If they won't think it's weird seein' me fly around and all."

She won't admit to being cold, but she does feel a chill from the rain. Plus, Labrys could do with finding a place that's familiar; maybe she'll recognize the dorm or some other building in the city. And if not, she has the chance to get used to the city.

"Fly?" She doesn't remember any schematics for flight operations on Aigis' models.

"Yeah! My axe ain't just for swingin' around." Labrys motions to her back. The axe blade extend almost like wings, and there are holes for exhaust to escape at the bottom. "Usin' it to fly is a better use of it anyway."
