Summary: Otoha has vanished from Hinoto-Ri. Desco is taking it...poorly.

Ever since he got out of the hospital, Desco has been sticking to Otoha's side like...well, an emotionally needy little girl. Then, last night, she had a dream - in itself suspicious, since sleep is just a hobby for her - and when she woke up, he was gone.

It didn't take her long to find out that he was completely gone from Hinoto-Ri, given the state of the network, and now...well. There are a lot of craters scattered around Capricorn ward from her tantrum. At the bottom of the deepest one lies Desco, flat on her back with her tentacles absorbed, streaks of dirt covering her body, tears flowing from her golden eyes, and a furious scowl on her face as she pants heavily, catching her breath.

Ever since Otoha had gone home Johnny had made extra good on his initial promise to crash in the man's apartment instead of his own, so when his moirail went missing, Johnny noticed. The vampire also noticed the sudden lack of little girl who had been sticking close as well.

Honestly, his strongest desire was to find the guy who'd shown up in their dreams and tear him a new one for once again separating them, but he knew that wouldn't be all that easy if even possible and, more than that, his parental instincts were kicked into high gear when Desco didn't come back.

So, now there was a swarm of bats flying over the city until, finally, he noticed the destruction in the Capricorn district. The swarm flew into the crater Desco was in and reformed into the vampire who moved to kneel next to the little girl, his tone soft.

"Hey, here you are..." He reached out to pet her hair.
