Summary: It's the Grand Opening of the Amagi Inn! Time to relax and take what services you can get!
Warnings: If you haven't seen P4...hot springs. Just. Hot springs.


[It took a long time to get to this point; a month actually but with a few bumps smoothed out. Who's counting?

The day of the 16th arrived without a hitch and with the strange little robot cupid thing out of the way (for now), it was time to push on through and get the opening underway. Strangely that someone didn't open the doors on a day where couples were supposed to spend time with each other. Yukiko noticed the date and suggested that Saturday night would be best because some customers could be students: obviously an opening date during the week wouldn't work so naturally, she chose one when people would want to be out. Ever since then, she tried to get the word spread about through various forms of communication...well except the COMP network. Minus that one time where those damn Pyro Jacks decided to make a nesting grounds until they got kicked out. Anyone who pretty much responded to her post on it got a free night for their trouble and she remembered it.

All of the staff made sure to wake up extra early and get everything in its proper place, every room cleaned and ready to go for tonight. To say she was nervous was an understatement: being the manager was different than her normal duty as hostess. Keeping the customers happy, making sure the food goes out properly and hoping that she wouldn't fall flat on her face would be top priority.

Finally the moment had arrived and the doors to the Amagi Inn opened, the new manager stepping out with a warm smile.]

Welcome everyone, to the Amagi Inn. I hope you take tonight to enjoy yourselves and relax. Whatever you may need, we will be happy to accommodate you.

[If you're a couple, you will notice that there is a discount for tonight. If you are someone who replied to Yukiko's earlier post about her pyro jack problem, the front desk will tell you that your bill is taken cared of for the night. Just don't go overboard.

Stepping inside the inn will remind some of the more traditional side of Japan. Unless you count finding a ping pong table tucked away for stress relief. But what the inn is mostly famous for is their natural hot spring which has been brought to Hinoto-Ri. Fair warning: if someone is peeping, there is free reign to smacking them with endless buckets. Ask the manager and her friends.

Technically, Latooni lived somewhere with its own (artificial) hot springs. That didn't mean she couldn't check this one out. If nothing else, it would be interesting to see if the water in an imported landmark was different from Hinoto-Ri's normal city water.

There wasn't even anyone like Garnet here to tell her she shouldn't bring a small beaker in with her. This was an excellent hot springs.

Science aside, though, Latooni is relaxing, towel clad, in the water, trying to relax and let that help her think about the puzzle of everyone who'd gone missing. And what that deal with Nano was the other day. Of course, to an outsider, she's pretty much just staring off into space...

The sliding door leading to the hot springs opened, and Gale walked in calmly, naked, towel in one hand. And yes, his hair down there was as green as the one on his head. It seemed he was unaware it was not the men's turn yet...

Right. There was a specific protocol for when something like this happens. After finally managing to shut her eyes (tightly), Latooni memorized Gale's location, turned to grab the nearest bucket (or was it some kind of wash basin? She wasn't sure), and in one fluid motion hurled it directly at Gale's position with the precision of someone who studies ballistics for fun.

"Uwahhhhh! It's like a swimming pool!"

Orihime had no objections to striking up a conversation with the first person she'd come across in the inn. Despite her reservations about spending her money on unnecessary things, the allure of a new experience was too much to resist. She'd always wanted to visit a hot spring, but Karakura Town didn't have anything like that.

She submerged her foot in the water, testing the temperature, before slowly easing herself down into the spring with a blissful sigh. It was even better than she'd imagined.

"You decided to come too?" she inquired, curious about the other lady who had decided to visit the spring tonight.

Latooni looked at the strange woman for a moment before responding. "Er, yes, I wanted to see what it was like," she said.

Wasn't there something she was supposed to do? Oh, right. "My name is Latooni Suvota, Miss...?"

Ruri was used to the artificial springs on her ship, so she was a bit curious how the natural or at least terrestrial ones here were. Sitting in the water and opening up a screen she sunk into the water playing a video game.

"Hrm..."

Latooni was already here checking out the hot springs. She didn't think to bring a handheld game, though, largely because she hadn't found any waterproof systems here. Thus, she was actually trying to socialize. Kind of.

Ruri peered up, the screen vanishing.

"Hi Latooni, how are you?"

[Nano's been looking forward to this ever since she'd first heard about the inn from Yukiko shortly after its appearance. She's seen hot springs and traditional Japanese inns on television before, but this is her first time seeing the real thing up close!

One might think that, as a robot, Nano doesn't need to take baths. And while that's technically true, there's nothing stopping her either, so she figures it'll be fun to relax a little for a change.

Giggling cheerfully, she makes her way back toward the hot springs area, towel wrapped around her and carrying a small wooden bucket full of soap and shampoo. Her eyes are as wide as saucers as she marvels at pretty much everything she encounters along the way.]

Wow... this place is incredible!

[Miku's already there. When she sees the familiar face, she waves]

Nano-chan, over here!

[Nano smiles, waving back and heading for the edge of the bath.]

Isn't this exciting? I've never been to an authentic Japanese hot spring before!

*A hot spring is as good as any a place to take a break, really.

Nick leans back, glasses off to prevent them from steaming up, and sighs. It's relaxing, but his mind's still pretty preoccupied of late. Too much going on, not enough answers. It's pretty frustrating. He tries to will himself to just stop thinking period, but it's not easy.*

[The door to the baths opens and closes, and Ginko enters the scene, taking a look and peering through the slight steamy mist hovering throughout the space there. He notices someone already in the water.] Good evening.

[He stops when he notices a sign instructing all guests to clean and rinse thoroughly before entering the bath, and starts looking about-- Ah, there's the water spicket.] Hm... [Apparently he hasn't been to this kind of hot spring before? Hmm.]

Well, here's something to help Nick stop thinking, or at least distract him for a bit. There's a rather rough-sounding splash nearby, and if Nick looks, there's a rather demonic-looking red fellow plunked down into the water.

"Ahh, damn, that's hot! Hot!"

He mutters a bit more before finally relaxing and slumping down with a pleased sigh, until the water's up to his neck.

"Ahhhh..."

...Well that's something you don't see every day.

Well, would you look at that. It's the man who helped organize against the Anoli, finally out of the hospital. He enters the water, towel around his shoulders, and finds a spot where the water is at chest level when he sits.

"You seem preoccupied."

He squints a bit. He can't see too well, but the shape and colors are pretty distinctive. "A bit. A friend of mine went missing with the others on this mission or whatever it is. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried."

Periodically, Ginia found herself traversing a particular area of Skyrim rife with natural hotsprings, and more than a few times, had noted some traveling hunters taking a break in them. The thought of doing so herself had usually occurred, but alas, she was normally far too busy to stop and do so.

And really, she was busy now as well. However, what threats that were looming here weren't quite as urgent as that of the dragons at home, so there was at least a little time to relax. And hey, it being free didn't hurt, either.

She's lounging rather lazily in the heated water with her rough undergarments on, and quite the scar collection exposed. It's not been often that she's been able to take the chance to indulge, so she's going to enjoy it.

It's later in the evening when most of the guests have turned in for the night. The work from the day was welcoming and Yukiko was glad that the opening was a huge success...but she felt like she needed to try and wind down from all the festivities. It wouldn't be often that she would be in here trying to relax. Things were different now.

She stepped into the water, slowly sinking down until only the middle of her back was seen. The warmth felt like it was soothing the priestess's body, seeping into her skin like a blanket. A part of her wanted to hang the towel she was wearing off to the side since no one else was there but knowing the last time it happened, it was a bad idea. No one would dare try and peep on someone in her position...

...right?

Well, nobody consciously trying to. The door outside to the outsprings opens slowly, and Labrys steps outside still wearing her Yasogami uniform. Nudity wasn't a big deal to the other Anti-Shadow weapons; Labrys really only wore her clothes to make her feel more like a human.

She recognizes her friend in the water without her needing to turn around -- one of the benefits of being what she was -- and greets her cheerfully without hesitation.

"I was wonderin' where you disappeared to! Your inn is really nice! It's swankier than the dormitory."

If she didn't recognize that voice, Yukiko would've jumped up, screamed, and possibly hurled a bucket at their head. But when she heard Labrys's voice, it didn't startle her so much. At least it wasn't a boy because a certain bowlcut might find out and no one wants that.

"Labrys...I didn't even hear you come in."

If there was anyone peeping, they'd be in trouble. There were plenty of buckets to be sent flying at any moment. And one super protective martial artist was there to watch over her friend. But first she had to get from the showers to the hot springs. And the quickest way from point A to point B was simple: running and jumping. So that's what Chie did.

The door slid open and Chie started running, getting to the edge and jumping straight into the water. Luckily she had done a good job tucking her towel around her, so that when she appeared above the surface it was still there.

"Heya Yukiko!"

[Nano's too excited to sleep tonight. And honestly, a little lonely too. Spending the night at a Japanese style inn is an amazing new experience, to be sure, but she's much more used to sleeping with someone else in the room - the Professor, Sakamoto, Yukko... The spacious accommodations are definitely something to behold, but the quiet of an empty room is something Nano doesn't want to deal with right now.

Right now, she's out for a walk to try to calm herself down enough to go to bed, when she hears the faint splash of water as Yukiko is relaxing in the baths. Curious to see who could be out here so late in the evening, Nano slowly enters the hot springs area, calling out softly through the night air.]
