Summary: It's the Grand Opening of the Amagi Inn! Time to relax and take what services you can get!
Warnings: If you haven't seen P4...hot springs. Just. Hot springs.


[It took a long time to get to this point; a month actually but with a few bumps smoothed out. Who's counting?

The day of the 16th arrived without a hitch and with the strange little robot cupid thing out of the way (for now), it was time to push on through and get the opening underway. Strangely that someone didn't open the doors on a day where couples were supposed to spend time with each other. Yukiko noticed the date and suggested that Saturday night would be best because some customers could be students: obviously an opening date during the week wouldn't work so naturally, she chose one when people would want to be out. Ever since then, she tried to get the word spread about through various forms of communication...well except the COMP network. Minus that one time where those damn Pyro Jacks decided to make a nesting grounds until they got kicked out. Anyone who pretty much responded to her post on it got a free night for their trouble and she remembered it.

All of the staff made sure to wake up extra early and get everything in its proper place, every room cleaned and ready to go for tonight. To say she was nervous was an understatement: being the manager was different than her normal duty as hostess. Keeping the customers happy, making sure the food goes out properly and hoping that she wouldn't fall flat on her face would be top priority.

Finally the moment had arrived and the doors to the Amagi Inn opened, the new manager stepping out with a warm smile.]

Welcome everyone, to the Amagi Inn. I hope you take tonight to enjoy yourselves and relax. Whatever you may need, we will be happy to accommodate you.

[If you're a couple, you will notice that there is a discount for tonight. If you are someone who replied to Yukiko's earlier post about her pyro jack problem, the front desk will tell you that your bill is taken cared of for the night. Just don't go overboard.

Stepping inside the inn will remind some of the more traditional side of Japan. Unless you count finding a ping pong table tucked away for stress relief. But what the inn is mostly famous for is their natural hot spring which has been brought to Hinoto-Ri. Fair warning: if someone is peeping, there is free reign to smacking them with endless buckets. Ask the manager and her friends.

It's later in the evening when most of the guests have turned in for the night. The work from the day was welcoming and Yukiko was glad that the opening was a huge success...but she felt like she needed to try and wind down from all the festivities. It wouldn't be often that she would be in here trying to relax. Things were different now.

She stepped into the water, slowly sinking down until only the middle of her back was seen. The warmth felt like it was soothing the priestess's body, seeping into her skin like a blanket. A part of her wanted to hang the towel she was wearing off to the side since no one else was there but knowing the last time it happened, it was a bad idea. No one would dare try and peep on someone in her position...

...right?

Well, nobody consciously trying to. The door outside to the outsprings opens slowly, and Labrys steps outside still wearing her Yasogami uniform. Nudity wasn't a big deal to the other Anti-Shadow weapons; Labrys really only wore her clothes to make her feel more like a human.

She recognizes her friend in the water without her needing to turn around -- one of the benefits of being what she was -- and greets her cheerfully without hesitation.

"I was wonderin' where you disappeared to! Your inn is really nice! It's swankier than the dormitory."

If she didn't recognize that voice, Yukiko would've jumped up, screamed, and possibly hurled a bucket at their head. But when she heard Labrys's voice, it didn't startle her so much. At least it wasn't a boy because a certain bowlcut might find out and no one wants that.

"Labrys...I didn't even hear you come in."

"Is that bad?" Most of her movements are pretty quiet, unless she's activating her axe. She steps to the edge and kneels down beside the water.

"No, it's not bad. I was just a little startled."

Now here is a question: is she alright with going into the water? Yukiko isn't sure if Labrys is waterproof or not...

Yukiko won't need to ask. Labrys extends her arm and gets a temperature reading on the water, running her metallic fingers through it.

"That must feel nice! Can I come in too?"

Huh? Why would she ask? It wasn't like she reserved the time for herself. Actually, it was just open and Yukiko just saw her chance to go in.

"I wouldn't see why not."

If she can be ok with being in water then there shouldn't be a problem, right?

Yukiko's state and the lockers she passed by make it clear that clothes don't have a place in the hot springs, so Labrys decides to finally take off her uniform. She hasn't since the incident started. It made her feel more human to wear clothes, even though she didn't need to.

She removes her axe from her back with a hiss, and gingerly lays it aside. Next, she carefully pulls off her top and skirt, revealing her full form.

She appears to stand shyly and look a bit self-conscious, despite no need to feel that way.

Labrys looks a little nerved...is it because of her body? There's no shame in it, even if it looks different from most. But she may not see it like that. As the manager-no, as her friend, Yukiko has to think of something so the other girl can be more relaxed. Besides, it's just two of them around and no one who might peep in anytime soon. Or at least she thought so.

She looks to her left then to her right, puts both hands on her towel and quickly takes it off while still keeping her chest covered. The garment is then thrown onto one of the rocks.

If there was anyone peeping, they'd be in trouble. There were plenty of buckets to be sent flying at any moment. And one super protective martial artist was there to watch over her friend. But first she had to get from the showers to the hot springs. And the quickest way from point A to point B was simple: running and jumping. So that's what Chie did.

The door slid open and Chie started running, getting to the edge and jumping straight into the water. Luckily she had done a good job tucking her towel around her, so that when she appeared above the surface it was still there.

"Heya Yukiko!"

Yukiko had to move out of the way so Chie wouldn't end up jumping on her. But it did get the manager wet on the top. There went the relaxing time.

"Hey Chie, I'm surprised you still have energy."

No really, both girls have been working pretty hard today and somehow her friend still has enough to jump into the bath like that.

"Yeah me too, weird isn't it? I guess that steak breakfast really was worth it!" Don't bother to even ask WHY she was having steak at breakfast.

Once she was in the water and soaking it up, Chie managed to calm down a bit, resting her arms out in front of her on the ground, and her head on the edge. She had forgotten how nice it was to just relax and forget everything else.

"I saw Yu-kun earlier, he's looking a lot better." Her voice was a little quiet, as if she was still secretly a little shaken up that she had arrived to see her Leader in the hospital.

Of course not, Yukiko learned not to question Chie's choices because that's what she does. Besides, it's a sense of normalcy in the city, like it's back home.

Then she brought up their leader. There might have been a slight tint of pink in her cheeks but it's maybe due to the water.

"Y-yes, I'm relieved that he's getting better. Everyone was worried there for awhile."

Chie didn't notice the change in Yukiko, she was looking the other way after all. Even if she did, would she have even been able to make sense of it?

"I still feel like it's my fault. If I was here I would have gladly taken protected him." She cared about him more than anyone she could think about, they were best friends and training buddies. To have to seen him laid up in the hospital was just as bad as seeing Yukiko there. "The same for you. I'd protect you with my life."

"Anyways, how are you doing? Do you need me to go do any more errands for you?" It was only fair, to help out Yukiko as best she could while she was still injured.

That stung a bit: it was the same way she was feeling at the hospital, constantly chanting over and over in her head how it was her fault that he got hurt. If Chie was lying there, she'd break down and be far worse.

"He would've blocked it for you too. We all would." she replied quietly. Translation: 'don't go jumping into things because we all will.'

"It's late, don't worry about anything else right now. Besides, I'm alright."

They all wanted to protect each other, but Chie hated being the odd man out. Atleast if she was there to fight she thought things would be different. Having to see Yosuke, Yu, and Yukiko injured where she had been home, eating her favorite meat croquettes while more battles were taking place against a foe she still doesn't know much about. But Yukiko was alive, and she was here now, and it was nice to forget things and just enjoy the hot springs together. That is, aside from the kohais who were currently missing.

"Okay, but just let me know if you need anything else! I'm your arms and legs until you're back at 100%!" She was really working hard, and willing to do anything. It was the best way she knew how to help out and feel useful.

"..You did a really great job today. You're really amazing, running this place by yourself."

No matter no many times Yukiko could say she's feeling better than before, it was thoughtful of her to think about the other girl. But even so, she should also take it easy unless she wanted Yukiko to nurse her.

"You should take it easy too. I don't want to see you get exhausted due to me."

The other girl started to mindlessly play with the water, smiling softly.

"It wasn't me who did: it was you and everyone here."

[Nano's too excited to sleep tonight. And honestly, a little lonely too. Spending the night at a Japanese style inn is an amazing new experience, to be sure, but she's much more used to sleeping with someone else in the room - the Professor, Sakamoto, Yukko... The spacious accommodations are definitely something to behold, but the quiet of an empty room is something Nano doesn't want to deal with right now.

Right now, she's out for a walk to try to calm herself down enough to go to bed, when she hears the faint splash of water as Yukiko is relaxing in the baths. Curious to see who could be out here so late in the evening, Nano slowly enters the hot springs area, calling out softly through the night air.]

...Hello?

[It was a quiet voice but she knew it well enough. Yukiko turns around and steps out of the bath, going to her.]

Is everything alright?

Oh, I'm sorry! You don't have to get out on my account!

[Nano holds up her hands in embarrassment, shaking her head.]

I couldn't get to sleep, so I thought I would take a walk.

No, it's alright. I want to make everyone staying here feel more comfortable.

If you want to come in, it's alright with me.

Do you mind if I come in the bath...? I know they're not supposed to be open for visitors right now, but...

I'll have to check with the manager.

[This is Yukiko teasing her friend.]

It's fine, don't worry.

But I thought you were-

[Oh, right. Nano smiles sheepishly, laughing a little.]

All right! I'll be right there, then.

[The robot girl disappears off to the side for a few moments, just long enough to shed her pajamas and the inn's house slippers, reemerging with a towel wrapped around her. She looks as pleased as anything to have another chance to take a bath out here, dipping a toe into the water before slowly sliding in next to Yukiko.]

Mmmm... the water feels so nice!

[Everyone can appreciate the spring; robots, humans, or whatever there is out there. She's smiling as she speaks up, motioning some of the water in between her hands.]

It's one of my favorite places here. Even after a long day or when something brings me down, it's like the water washes everything away.
