Kill dudes, get loots
Who: Misery, OPEN.
Where: All around Hinoto-Ri; 13th Hour
Summary: Misery is out and about, killing critters and generally letting off stress. There sure are a lot of new things lately...
Warnings: Extreme monster violence. And, well, Misery.
Another creature goes down to the Golem's fist. Misery moves forward, analyzing the remains, before tching and moving on. Nothing on that one.
She's been keeping to herself generally for the past month, in small part due to the amount of work involved in her move from the comfortable but untrustworthy apartments to her lovely little home out in Capricorn. Admittingly, some of the night company could be a little rowdy, but that's what warding spells were for. And if they were TOO rowdy... well, more ingredients were always a plus.
But she's been irritable lately. Maybe it's the phase of the moon, or the time of the month. Maybe it's the fact she's still had no luck finding a Baku, and as such all these stupid dreams about her past keep niggling at her as if they expect her to repent for something that was clearly the fault of everybody ELSE. And maybe, just maybe, it's in part to the fact that a certain IDIOT managed to get himself snagged to Gods know where. He still owed her that potion back.
Not that there hasn't been amusement. It's increasingly obvious other people are finally beginning to realize that both sides were about as trustworthy as a piece of fool's gold. She can't help but cackle at that. Maybe a little bit of extra prodding wouldn't hurt. After all, there were a lot of sacred cows in Hinoto-Ri, and Misery DOES like beef.
She continues on the move, noting something in a notebook. Another new one. Fascinating.

Latooni is out patrolling tonight as well. With a lot of the Visitors gone and more of them trying to keep a low profile among the locals while they figured out the politics, she's taken it upon herself to help curb some of the aggressive demons in the Cancer district.
At the moment, she's found a gaggle of the things and is letting Omoikane's lightning spells have a field day with their weakness - her usual strategy.

She sends the Golem out to clear out some of the other ones. "These are definitely newer additions. Or, at least, I certainly never saw them prior to this strange phenomenon of late of various structures appearing at random throughout town."

She's also somewhat fond of the Nadesico's AI, but that's just a coincidence of namesakes.
Latooni walks forward to begin poking through the pile of electrified remains, standing back in case one of them needed to be finished off. "I also noticed when the 'new' demons showed up, some of them were carrying items for some reason."
She holds up a small potion bottle as an example before looking at the next one. "This one's mostly intact..."
no subject
...okay, maybe that's just Misery.
She approaches Latooni, looking at the potion in question. "Hmm, yes. If I may have a look at that?"

I am blanking on action tags forever right now. Did you have anything in mind to find?
"Should I scan while you attack?"
Nah, we could probably just pick something at random.

"Hello! Desco is enjoying her snack very much!"
She wrenches off a small, bite-sized piece, dips it in the mysterious fluid next to her, and tosses it into one of her primary tentacles, which chews noisily and swallows.
"Are you hunting things too?"
no subject
"I suppose you can say that. Although I'm more interested in the things they drop than the things themselves. I'll leave those to YOU for dinner." She coughs.
no subject
"Desco doesn't bother eating plates. Ceramics taste yicky."
Her tentacles take a few more dainty bites of the iron grate as she continues.
"Desco has been herding the demons in this section eastward for a while, so if you go north or south you can pick off some stragglers!"
no subject
She rolls her eyes. "Oh, how fabulously lucky for me. I DO love getting other peoples' leftovers." She shrugs. "Still, an ingredient source is an ingredient source. I don't suppose you managed to save anything from your own, ah, conquests, have you?"
no subject
"Desco has some spare Prinny Hide?"
no subject
no subject
"Prinnies are explosive."
no subject
"Are you quite finished with your meal?"
no subject
Desco brushes off her dress as she levitates upwards.
"Desco will see if she can't send a few more your way, too."
