☆ 001; an unexpected visit
Who: some white-haired lamers Alcor (
jumyouboshi) and Yamato Hotsuin (
drakenguard)
Where: Libra 6-02, aka Alcor's apartment.
Summary: Alcor gets a visit from one of the last people he expected. While said person is drunk, at that.
Warnings: Alcor and Yamato interacting within a 10 feet radius. Hideousness is inevitable.
[Nobody visited Alcor.
At least, nobody visited Alcor's apartment. First of all, he didn't even need an apartment to live in, as humans did. He didn't need to sleep, eat, drink, use the bathroom, shower, and so on. He wasn't even in his apartment at least 90% of the time, preferring to observe humans in the outdoors, whether it was on top of buildings, or sitting on park benches. It was a wonder he kept it anyway.
But there was a slight bit of comfort to be found in having a "private space" to one's self, he found. Granted, it was nothing new for him to be alone, but he wasn't really alone here, was he? Especially with his other self literally hovering out and about. However, he didn't want to trouble the others with his well-being and presence, and so he opted to keep this space of his. Besides, he did use the electricity to fiddle around with human technology more, typing away at a laptop he had gotten himself (bought? taken from a store? who knows?) sometimes.
The fact remained however, that nobody visited Alcor. It was always he who came to them, to understand their ways of thinking, or to provide hints when they needed it. Not the other way around, for he was elusive and ever watching from a distance. They could attempt to contact him, but if he didn't want to be found, he would not be found. That was all right though, as he usually appeared when you needed it.Aside from the Tsuutenkaku incident.
So it was very strange that Alcor, sitting around in the apartment for once, heard sounds at his door. Some scratching, a grunt or two, and the clink of...keys? Followed by more scratching. Was someone trying to get in? He had thought it was human custom to knock instead of using force to get into a human habitation.
Obviously, that warranted more investigation, which is why he got up from his chair and floated over toward the door, but did not open it. Yet.]

But less musing for now, and more action. Alcor opened the door with a slightly confused expression on his face.]
...Yamato Hotsuin?
no subject
[There was a bit of a stunned pause, where they both simply stared at each other. Then, predictably, Yamato's expression chilled into a frosty glare, his lips pressing together in a thin, unhappy line. He was sick and tired of this... Alcor just popped up at the most inopportune moments, yes, and now, now he was...]
Alcor, it's rude to take someone's apartment. I know you don't understand human propriety, but this isn't allowed.
no subject
...
...What.]
...Excuse me?
[He was under the impression that this was his assigned apartment, not...Yamato's.]
no subject
[Yamato was gearing up for a rant it seemed - a very nonsensical rant, filled with the usual amount of spite and venom. Everything about Alcor just... pissed him off, even though he was aware that Shijima was correct. It was something he needed to get over because it was such a debilitating weakness but...
Urgh how could he?! This man, just... was so aggravating and wronged him so deeply! And now he took his apartment!]
You don't even need it. So what motivation could you have for breaking and entering?
no subject
[Breaking and entering...? What was he talking about? Alcor shook his head, trying to make sense of the situation...which didn't make a lot of sense to begin with.]
I did not force my way into this human homestead.
no subject
[Duh, Alcor, don't try to wriggle your way out of this with literal language!]
But fact of the matter is is that you should not be here. I would have thought stealing was beneath you anyway.
no subject
[And then it clicks. No wonder Yamato was acting so hostile about this apartment...he thought it was his. Well, it wasn't, so...]
Ah...you are mistaken, Yamato Hotsuin.
[
before you say i am stoling this apartment let me explain you a thing]no subject
[YOU'RE NOT GETTING OUT OF THIS HERETIC - i.e reasoning with yamato is impossible at this stage]
no subject
I've no intention of deceiving you if I—
["if I can help it" was what he was going to say...before he got cut off by drunken anger.]
no subject
[...was this even about the apartment now? Also wow way to say pot calling kettle black]
no subject
No, this isn't even about the apartment anymore. Still, Alcor (foolishly) presses on, hoping that they can come to an understanding...]
Well, you are free to interpret my words as you will, bu—
["...but I am omitting no truth here."]
no subject
[Sorry Alcor, but Yamato's not even listening to you anymore - or even on the right subject anymore...]
Work on your anger issues, tch, how can I do that with two of you floating about, and stealing my apartment as well? You drive me absolutely insane!
no subject
Yamato Hotsuin, I am aware of the inconvenience my existence prese—
["...presents to you, but it cannot be helped."]
no subject
[Wait, who's doing what?]
no subject
I am not the one interru—
[yemutu pls]

[Yamato rubbed at his forehead, looking like he'd rather just lie on the floor and be done with it]
In any case, out. Get out.
no subject
As I said, you are mistaken. This is not y—
["...your assigned habitation."]
no subject
[It seemed that getting a bit overexcited in his drunken state was probably not a wise thing. He abruptly shut his mouth, paling suddenly. Oh no...]
no subject
[Alcor, unaware of what Yamato was feeling (alcohol didn't affect him, after all), simply sighed, before quietly continuing.]
...I don't know if they ever did.
[Which could refer to a great many things.]
no subject
As it was, however, Yamato was not clear-headed, and in fact, was beginning to realise that something embarrassingly awful was going to happen in the new few seconds]
You...never gave me...much of a chance, either...
[Yamato mumbled, trying to speak without moving his lips too much. In T-Minus five seconds...four...]
no subject
I recall doing so...however, our ideals were far too different. I suppose it could not be helped.
no subject
You gave, u-up on me, quickly enough...!
[Anger gave him an extra second, two...one...]
I hate you, so...nh mu-urk!!
[Zero.
It was done.
Yamato, unable to really contain his unsettled stomach for a second longer, doubled over and threw up all over the floor - and regretfully, Alcor's shoes]
no subject
......
......
......
...There was a long silence as Alcor stared at Yamato...then at his now vomit-covered shoes, then back at Yamato again. He hadn't thought the other would be so furious as to vomit on him...then again, vomiting was not a common way to convey anger, from what he knew. He knew that throwing up was simply the biological instinct to expel waste from the stomach, but it didn't make this situation any less awkward.]

[Yamato was still half-bent over, although he had a gloved hand pressed against his mouth, and he was looking up at Alcor with a thoroughly mortified expression. As much as he hated Alcor, he would never wish being thrown up on on anyone.]
I...I am so sorry.
no subject
However, as anyone who interacted with him for more than five minutes could tell you, Alcor was anything but a normal human, and with that, he possessed an inhuman patience that served him well for all those billions of years of living. Even now, he managed to keep his calm, save for blinking a few times in surprise. He's seen humans do much worse to others, after all. Finally, after what seemed like forever, he silently attempted to grab the other's shoulder.]
