"Okay!"

Rise stood in front of the imported Junes in Virgo, where she'd gathered whoever was handy and expressed interest in her concert project, or happened to look like they might have musical talent, or looked like they could lift something heavy. She also kept her COMP camera turned on in case anyone else cared.

"Auditions for the benefit concert for the victims of the Anoli attack are here! Wow, I need a better name," she announced. "So far we're doing the concert outdoors here on Friday, so mark your calendars!"

After that, she went to the assembled Visitors. "Okay, who's here to sign up and who's here to build a stage for a good cause?"

[Action - Hinoto-Ri] (The 11th through the 14th)

Rise spent the rest of the week in a flurry of activity highly distinct and, in her opinion, much more tiring from the 'talent' side of things. In this case, she was acting more as an agent, going around town to make sure the concert was funded, advertised, and most importantly, got as much Visitor talent on-stage as possible. It was also probably time to get better acquainted with the Visitor/local relations group Cloche had mentioned...

It was going to be tough doing all this on a simple flat stage, though. It worked in Inaba, but she couldn't help but think another venue would work better, especially for the flashier acts. Maybe something would turn up?

"Oh yeah! Cloche-san told me about it. This is definitely the kind of thing I want to do with this. We can definitely advertise, put the group down as the main sponsor...it's a benefit for the native guys in the first place, mostly," she said.

"If we can get the word out that a group like that exists, we can help a lot more people." She smiles, a little self-deprecatingly. "If there's anything I know as much as music and acting, it's advertising."

He perks up. "That's great! I think we could do a lot of good work together, and a benefit concert like this will be perfect for getting people to realize we're just as concerned about everybody else as our own situation."

He sticks a hand out. "I don't know if we've introduced properly. I'm Nicholas Reeve. I usually handle diplomacy on a... slightly different level, but I think we can put what I do know together with your PR skills to start making a difference around here, don't you?"

"Hm...well, if you've got a name for the group, I can start plugging it everywhere. The important thing starting off would be exposure, right?" she asked, gears turning in her head. More than anything else she could do, she'd practiced the most at getting peoples' attention.

He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. "Just the Visitor/Native Alliance. Nothing fancy. I'm not much of a namer." He pauses. "Although maybe I should've put the Natives first? Oh man..."

"I think VNA is a little bit cooler of an acronym," she said. "Sounds less like a government agency."

"The first thing to do is add it to everything we print or put online. I've mostly been doing word of mouth, which means flyers if you want people to remember dates and times, so next time we get some of those, we can add our main sponsor."
