"Okay!"

Rise stood in front of the imported Junes in Virgo, where she'd gathered whoever was handy and expressed interest in her concert project, or happened to look like they might have musical talent, or looked like they could lift something heavy. She also kept her COMP camera turned on in case anyone else cared.

"Auditions for the benefit concert for the victims of the Anoli attack are here! Wow, I need a better name," she announced. "So far we're doing the concert outdoors here on Friday, so mark your calendars!"

After that, she went to the assembled Visitors. "Okay, who's here to sign up and who's here to build a stage for a good cause?"

[Action - Hinoto-Ri] (The 11th through the 14th)

Rise spent the rest of the week in a flurry of activity highly distinct and, in her opinion, much more tiring from the 'talent' side of things. In this case, she was acting more as an agent, going around town to make sure the concert was funded, advertised, and most importantly, got as much Visitor talent on-stage as possible. It was also probably time to get better acquainted with the Visitor/local relations group Cloche had mentioned...

It was going to be tough doing all this on a simple flat stage, though. It worked in Inaba, but she couldn't help but think another venue would work better, especially for the flashier acts. Maybe something would turn up?

"Uh, excuse me, I couldn't help but hear you're doing a benefit concert?"

The bespectacled ghost talker stood nearby, adjusting his glasses. Seems like the Native/Visitor Alliance has found her first. "Only, well, I can't help but feel we might be able to work together on this."

[celebrity_commentator]

"Oh? Yeah, here, take a flyer!"

She hands out a very quickly done flyer, rife with important information and star designs everywhere. "So, how would you like to help?"

It's... certainly a flyer all right. Artists really are different.

"Ah, well, see. I just started a group recently, the Visitor/Native Alliance. Only we're not going to be able to do much unless we get our name out there. So I was wondering, maybe we could help with the promotion some? Get the word out there, and help with some of the background bureaucratic and financial stuff. In return, you can help us advertise a bit." He looks a little sheepish, as if self-advertisement doesn't come naturally to him.

10th- Virgo District

Sephiran raised his hand slightly when Rise asked her questions. "I'm looking to sign up," he said. "I may not quite be able to bring much 'flash' to the stage, but I can sing well enough."

[celebrity_commentator]

"We've got a pretty wide variety of acts already! I'm sure some quieter vocals will fit right in toward the middle of the set..."

She brings out a clipboard, since she still writes faster than she types on these newfangled COMP interfaces. "So what's your name, and what would you like to perform?"

It pleased Sephiran to hear that there was room for his particular style of music. He thought that there wouldn't be any among the modern glitz and pomp. "My name is Sephiran," he replied. "I'll be performing..." Well, how could he explain it? "It will just be a simple song from my home world. I don't think I'll even need musical accompaniment. What specifically do you need to know?"

Dakki raises her hand and smiles hopefully. "Ah, I can't sing, but I have some experience with stage construction. Do you still need to get materials, or have arrangements already been made to obtain those?"

[celebrity_commentator]

"Great! We're doing this pretty spur of the moment, so it's going to be pretty basic. We've got the stage and lights and everything arranged, but we still need to move it all out here, and that's going to be your job!" She flourishes with a pen and clipboard.

"Well, you and a bunch of other volunteers, obviously. Can I ask your name?"

12th

Selphie had said that she'd meet Rise to figure things out. There was a lot of stuff to do. So she was running around the city with her arms full of flyers and posters, running in and out of places to make sure they were all fully on board with the concert. Changes are she'd bump into Rise somewhere along the way.

Rise, wearing the fixed but still honest grin of a showperson getting into her role, waved and stopped her outside of the lighting store they'd made a deal with.

"Selphie-chan! Report!" she mock-'ordered'. "Where are we at for lights?"

Old habits meant that Selphie stod immediately to attention, performing a quick salute when her name was called. "Uhm... we got the main lights. But need more of the flashier stuff. And no lazers..." Yeah, Selphie wanted a bit of a laser show too if it was possible. OTT as ever.

"You've been busy today, huh?" Asem was in his military uniform, having approached Rise when he saw her on the sidewalk for the fifth time today -- and it was only lunchtime. "What's got you running around town?"

[celebrity_commentator]

"We're having a concert to benefit the people who were hurt during the Anoli attack!" she explained. Also to demonstrate that fewer people than you'd think say 'no' to a determined pop star. "Here, take a flyer! Ooh, take a bunch, you look good in that uniform and people will be interested."

"Whoa wait hey!" Asem recoiled a bit and blushed from the compliment. "I-I don't think I'd be too good for advertising this. Shouldn't you use the performers?"

Yu was just coming out of Junes, bag of groceries in hand, when he heard Rise calling out from where she had set up her mini "camp" of sorts. He couldn't help but pause a moment... before a faint smile worked it's way onto his face. He waited until she was done speaking to the other visitors before he approached.

"Need help?"

[celebrity_commentator]

"Always, if you're offering," she said with a smile.

"Of course."

Anything for his friends, Rise. You should know that.

"What do you need?"

Nikolai would eventually speak up, mostly after everyone else was done.

"Ah. I can help with either, if you like. I'm a guitarist, but if you have enough musicians, I can help with construction."

[celebrity_commentator]

"A guitarist, huh?" she asks, tapping her lip with a pen. "I'm fine with having you as an act or a helper, but if you're having trouble deciding, how do you feel about a solo performance in front of several thousand people?"

14th!

Nagisa was on a tear through the streets of Hinoto-Ri that morning. She'd happened to be awake during the 13th Hour that day, felt a pull towards Aries Ward, and seen something amazing - she'd been unable to hold back her tears of joy when she'd seen 0048 Stage appear.

She'd hardly been able to sleep that night after that, out of pure excitement and happiness, but she'd managed a few hours. Now, though? She needed to find Rise.

"Rise-senpai!" She stopped running to catch her breath as soon as she caught sight of her. "It's here - the theater from home - it's in Aries Ward."

"Huh? Are you okay?" she asked first. "You don't need to--"

"Wait, your theater? A theater showed up last night?" she asked, finally registering what was there behind Nagisa's heavy breathing.

[A blue-haired girl is heading out of Junes with many, many bags full of groceries and hears Rise's announcement.]

Wait, helping people? Is there anything I can do to help? I really like helping people! It was part of my programming even!

"Programming?" she asked.

"Oh hey, are you a robot? More importantly, do you know anything about construction or lighting tech?"

Being that it was the first time she stepped here, it was luck that she overheard such an announcement. Now that she thought of it, it's been a long time since Haru got to perform anything, aside from on an empty stage. Friday, huh...

"Hey, I'd like to sign up!"

"Great!" was the response of someone with no managerial or scheduling experience. "I'm Rise Kujikawa, and I'm kinda in charge by default. What do you play? Or do you sing?"
