"Okay!"

Rise stood in front of the imported Junes in Virgo, where she'd gathered whoever was handy and expressed interest in her concert project, or happened to look like they might have musical talent, or looked like they could lift something heavy. She also kept her COMP camera turned on in case anyone else cared.

"Auditions for the benefit concert for the victims of the Anoli attack are here! Wow, I need a better name," she announced. "So far we're doing the concert outdoors here on Friday, so mark your calendars!"

After that, she went to the assembled Visitors. "Okay, who's here to sign up and who's here to build a stage for a good cause?"

[Action - Hinoto-Ri] (The 11th through the 14th)

Rise spent the rest of the week in a flurry of activity highly distinct and, in her opinion, much more tiring from the 'talent' side of things. In this case, she was acting more as an agent, going around town to make sure the concert was funded, advertised, and most importantly, got as much Visitor talent on-stage as possible. It was also probably time to get better acquainted with the Visitor/local relations group Cloche had mentioned...

It was going to be tough doing all this on a simple flat stage, though. It worked in Inaba, but she couldn't help but think another venue would work better, especially for the flashier acts. Maybe something would turn up?

"Well, you do have a point," she said, looking thoughtful. "So would you rather help set up the stage and lighting and sound system instead?"

[second_destiny]

That suggestion was enough to make Asem pause for a moment. "How did you know I have experience with that kind of thing?"

[celebrity_commentator]

"Wait, you do? I was just saying that because I knew you'd do it if I asked," she admitted.

Inasmuch as she'd 'asked' him to begin with, which she really hadn't, but that's how you get things done in a hurry.

[second_destiny]

"Because you--" Asem looked at Rise in disbelief.

"...You know, that doesn't sound right when you say it like that." And then there was a bit of deadpan in his voice.

[celebrity_commentator]

"Aw, you mean you won't? I'm coming to you as a friend here, Asem."

Now that she's recovered from the shock, she sounds sincere and legitimately a bit hurt.

[second_destiny]

"Whoa, hey, hey, I never said I wouldn't help!" He wasn't going to leave a friend upset if he can help it. "It's just...er...crap, where was I going with that..."

[celebrity_commentator]

"Great!" she said, instantly cheerful again.

"So what do you know about lighting and tech? We could really use an expert."

[second_destiny]

"Um. Well." Come on, get that train of thought rolling. "I know how to wire things. Comes from being part of the Junior Mobile Suit Club at my school. We've had to repair the lights plenty of times in our garage, so I know how to fix and wire them. And speakers aren't too hard."

[celebrity_commentator]

"Yeah, I guess this would be pretty easy compared to giant robots, too," she noted.

"Right now, we're trying to get everything set with a temporary stage here. I've got a Miss Selphie Tilmitt off getting the lights. Do you think I could ask you to take the lead setting them up when she gets back?"

[second_destiny]

"Huh? Oh, sure. I can do that, no problem." Asem scratched his cheek. This was all happening rather quickly.

[celebrity_commentator]

Asem should really see her work Kanji over some time.

"Thank you so much!" she said, grabbing his hands in an appreciative gesture. "I've got to go keep advertising, but I'll come back by later to make sure you have everything you need, okay?"

[second_destiny]

"Um. Right, sure." At this point, there was a faint bit of pink in Asem's cheeks. "Er...good luck."

[celebrity_commentator]

"Thanks!"

And then she's off.
