Summary: Nano has the most inconvenient robotic attachments ever.

[Nano has clearly been in town for far too long without anything terrible happening with her robotic attachments for no reason in public.  It's really a miracle she's made it this long.  Which is why today, she's running around the streets of Hinoto-Ri in a complete panic, waving her arms around frantically as she tears through the streets.  Onlookers will likely notice that her right hand is missing completely, and she seems to be staring up at the skyline looking for something during the times when she stops to catch her breath.]

No...!  Come back!

[It's not entirely clear what she's screaming at, but it's probably pretty easy to figure out.  Nano's self-propelled hand is rocketing its way all through the city.  Sometimes it collides with a piece of scenery before bouncing off and flying in a completely different direction.  Particularly unlucky people might actually get rocket-punched themselves while it's shooting all over the place.  And of course, whenever she starts to get close, Nano herself will come running up, panting for breath and holding up the stump.]

P-please...!  Help... h-hand...

[This is so embarrassing.]

[Nano slumps down to her knees, exhausted already at the very prospect.]

Don't worry! I'm sure if we search carefully we'll find it in no time!

We'll have to look high up, too.

[prettytamer]

...I can't climb that high.

[Slight hitch in the plan.]

[all_wound_up]

Uuuuuu... how will I ever find it? This city is so big!

We can't give up hope yet! The longer we take to start, the longer it'll take to find!

You're right... I can't stop looking until I find it. The Professor isn't here to replace it for me, after all.

[prettytamer]

So let's go!

[She starts marching. Hurry up :P ]

[Nano hurries to catch up, but backtracks several steps almost immediately as she looks down an alleyway.]

Wait... is that...?

[prettytamer]

[Midori turns around and peers down the alleyway with her. Hmm, could it be-?]

[all_wound_up]

[Yup.

A stray dog.

With her hand in its mouth.

Wagging its tail.]

[prettytamer]

...It bit the hand that fed it.

[She's not sorry.]

[all_wound_up]

Midori-saaaaan!

[weh weh]

[prettytamer]

Well it did. C'mere, boy.

[She kneels next to the dog and tries to gently take the hand from its mouth.]

[all_wound_up]

[Predictably, the dog's guard hairs stand up on end and it lowers its face toward the ground, growling. Nano lets out a small whining sound from just behind Midori.]

[prettytamer]

It's all right, I'm not gonna hurt you. I just want to take that hand. It's not good food for you.

[all_wound_up]

[grrrrrrrrr grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr]

M-Midori-san... be careful.

[prettytamer]

Hm, what should I- Oh, I know!

[Even dogs like Mediaharan, right?]

[all_wound_up]

[Well, that seems to have done the trick. The dog looks confused for a moment, but then it starts wagging its tail, walking toward Midori.]

Hey... I think it worked!

[prettytamer]

Everyone likes healing. Thank you, boy. Or girl.

[prettytamer]

[Having retrieved the hand from the dog's mouth, she wipes it on her jacket before handing it to Nano.]
