WHO: Orihime Inoue, OPEN
WHAT: Asuper awesome montage myriad of scenes in which Orihime learns the ropes about this weird new world.
WHEN: Varies (see the notes below)
WHERE: Anywhere and everywhere!
NOTES: So this is essentially how I (and by extension Orihime) learn some of the basic game mechanics, like how to summon/use Personas, things in other districts to be aware of, etc. Anyone willing to provide a sort of mentor for showing Orihime the ropes will receive so much love and gratitude both ICly and OOCly, because we need all the help we can get! This can also serve as just a basic way to garner some much-needed CR, or as a set-up for the upcoming Taurus event (Orihime is a Virgo for what that's worth). Feel free to PM or IM me if you want to plot something out first, or feel free to just wing it. I'm up for almost anything! The date on any and all threads is very flexible, so anything from Feb. 2013 to today is fair game. Third-person prose and [action brackets] are both fine!
She still wasn't used to this. She thought as much every time she woke up in her bed, primarily because she wasn't accustomed to sleeping in a bed at all. Back home, she'd lived in an inexpensive flat and slept comfortably on a floor mat. Here, Orihime didn't have to shift the furniture in order to make room for a place to sleep. She hadn't imagined she'd be able to live in a place this nice until she graduated from college and was gainfully employed in one career or another.
Pushing back the covers, Orihime swung her legs out of bed and settled her bare feet on the carpeted floor. She pushed her toes into the plush carpet, then stood. She held her arms loosely as she crossed the room to peer blearily out her window at the alien city she'd been dropped into. It still wasn't properly explored, in her opinion, but she was still undecided as to whether or not she should explore it at all.
She lowered her head, pensive. Shinjiro had told her much, and had assuaged her greatest concerns. It was possible to return home, and the time in her world was effectively 'frozen' in a sense that she would find herself replaced at the exact moment in which she'd left. In that case, there was no real rush to return, was there? And yet...there was still a slight anxiety in the back of her mind. Maybe it was just a sense of homesickness?
Orihime pursed her lips and exhaled, furrowing her brow as she leaned against the wall. She did want to return home, very much. However, she'd been told that she was needed here, and admittedly, that imbued her with a certain feeling of self-worth. She wanted to feel needed, almost desperately so, and if there was no cost to her friends back home, the choice to stay was obvious, right?
So why did she still feel so uneasy about all of this?
Pushing off of the wall, Orihime shuffled into the bathroom to shower, then dress, then wolf down a quick breakfast of tea, rice, and scrambled eggs. Perhaps if she urged herself to explore this place, get to know more about it and the people who had also been called, she might find herself swimming in good reasons to stick around and find her purpose.
(OOC: I'm also still pretty awkward/new about this, so feel free to tell me if I need to edit anything!)

Today is one of those days that he decides to visit. It's a subconscious action, almost, especially now that Aki's gone he feels drawn here. Goddamn sentimentality. They used to play here pretty damn often as kids.
When he approaches the shrine, he hears noise and almost changes his mind about going in. He's not one to want to deal with people, and he can always come back later, but he approaches a little anyway, figuring that maybe a kid or two's playing around. When his eyes search inside, he soon finds that damned well isn't the case.
He recognizes the girl—Inoue, wasn't it?—a bit surprised to see her there. He hadn't expected to see her again, figuring she'd probably find her way home, but he guesses not. He can only wonder what the hell she's even doing. Maybe she knows martial arts, but she never seemed the type, and her posture looks all wrong, even if he's only familiar Mitsuru's careful fencing forms and Aki's boxing stances that the idiot usually threads in with his own style that isn't so much of a style as it is an example in recklessness. He always did leave far too many openings as far as Shinjiro is concerned—a bit hypocritical, considering he didn't know a damn about boxing, but Shinjiro can't really say he cares.
He thinks about leaving—let the odd girl go back to her equally odd habits, but he walks into the shrine anyway. Maybe he's a little curious, and maybe he doesn't have quite enough reason to leave.
"What do you think you're doing?"

She drew her knee up, balanced precariously on one foot, and was just about to raise her arms overhead when Shinjiro's voice shattered her concentration.
"KYAH!" Her arms windmilled as she spun around, eyes as big as dinner plates. "Oh, Aragaki-san! You surprised me." She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "I was trying to summon my Persona. I saw someone else do it from the window of my apartment, but they were too far away, so I didn't really see how they did it. I do have one, don't I?"

Shinjiro shrugs his shoulders. "Yeah, you got one. But waving your hands around ain't how you do it."
