Tempo had spent the last few days since arriving in the city alone. This was what she preferred... without Doctor LaLinde, it was hard to know what to do with anyone when it came interacting with them.

But she knew she couldn't live like this forever, which was why she had forced herself out of her apartment, determined to introduce herself to at least one person. She was starting with the lobby.

Of course, the fact that she looked absolutely terrified would be a sign that she wasn't quite ready for this...

Desco spends most of her time out in the city, but she does occasionally check in on her apartment, since she's had a long-term project going for quite a while now.

But anyway: you're an android of some kind, and you're female-shaped! Have a seven year old girl staring up at you with sparkly, shining eyes and wagging tail.

"Hello!"

"Um, hello," she said, a bit taken aback by how suddenly he appeared.

"Desco is pleased to meet you, miss Android!"

Desco flares the spines down the sides of her dress and curtsies politely as the three golden eyes on her torso blink.

"Can Desco know your name?"

"... I'm Tempo," she said. "And... you're Desco?"

Nod nod.

"Yes! Desco's full name is Death/Extermination Submersible Combat Organism Kazamatsuri!"

Well.

That's...an unusual name.

Natsuki walked into the apartment to grab something she forgot earlier in the day from her apartment. The girl in the lobby caught her eye because she looked ready to jump out of her skin, like a rabbit that had had too much caffeine. Natsuki approached and asked, concerned

"Are you ok?"

"Hm?!" Tempo cried, almost jumping out of her artificial skin. Then, she turned to face Natsuki, laughing almost nervously.

"I-I'm fine!" she replied. "H-Hello, I'm Tempo! It's nice to meet you!"

Natsuki jumps herself when the surprised Tempo reacts.

"Y-Yeah... I'm Natsuki. I guess you're new here?"

"... That'd be correct," she said with a sigh. "Is it that obvious?"

"It is, though most people I haven't seen before around here tend to be new."

Natsuki pauses a bit and thinks while looking into Tempo's eyes.

"Did you see the butterfly masked man too."

Normally Blues didn't pay all that much attention to the people and places in the lower levels of the Libra apartments. They were just a place he walked through to get outside, and nothing special to him.

At least usually they are. Except he noticed Tempo on his way out and he just can't help it.

"Someone is going to mistake you for a statue, girl." He says from a couple feet away from the other robot, as he stopped on his way out.

For a brief moment, Tempo thought she was looking at someone else. Whoever this was, he looked a lot like Rock. Oh, he was clearly someone else entirely, but the similarities were still striking.

"... a-ah, statue?" she exclaimed. "What do you mean?"

Blues blinks, not that Tempo can see that since he is wearing his sunglasses. The fact she's standing around and doesn't seem to be doing much makes her seem kinda like a statue.

At least that's what he meant by saying that.

"I mean you're not standing out much."

"... I see," Tempo replied nervously. "I'm just... well, I'm trying to meet new people... so I can see how that'd be a problem..."

He crosses his arms over his chest as she spoke, frowning.

"More so since you're hiding inside a building," Blues said, not sounding like he actually cares for her reasons for doing this. He gestures towards the exit. "Why not go out instead?"

[Tachikoma is merely walking through to her apartment when she sees someone new in the lobby! Maybe they live here now! And are a new neighbor! That means Tachikoma should say hello.]

Hi! Do you live here? Are you new? It's nice to meet you! I'm Tachikoma! What's your name?

Ah... yes I am... I arrived here several days ago... I'm Tempo.

[Tachikoma is nothing but enthusiastic. She keeps on smiling and talking!]

Nice to meet you, Tempo! How are you finding it here? Do you need any help? I can try answering some questions if you have any! I'm still kind of new as well, but lots of people have been helping me, so I know a bit now, and if not, I might be able to help you find someone who can help!

[Tempo just stares at the barrage of questions, looking very put off by the time Tachikoma stopped talking]

... um... could you start over? A little slower please?

[It's okay if Tempo is put off, Tachikoma isn't!]

Sure! I was just wondering how you were finding things in Hinoto-Ri or if you needed any help?

It's at this point that Rock has realized his initial reassurances have kind of backfired on him, so he felt it was time he go check up on Tempo. He's got a small package with him as well.

He spots her in the lobby, and smiles a bit - at least she's out of her room, even if she doesn't seem too pleased about it. He waves a bit, then heads on over. "Hey, Tempo!"

[Tempo's eyes lit up upon seeing Rock. She ran up to him, smiling.]

Rock! What brings you here...?

Well, I thought I'd come see how you were settling in! And I thought you might be able to use this.

[He holds the package up to her - it's a rather mundane box, no fancy wrapping or anything.]

Since we're kind of on our own here, we'll have to try and do our own upkeep where we can - so I brought some tools and supplies for that. Kinda like a first aid kit, but for robots, y'know?

[He grins a bit, rather amused and proud of himself for that little comparison.]

... By the way, um... I need to ask you something...
