Who: Tempo [open to all]
Where: Libra apartments
Summary: Tempo is out and about, trying to introduce herself to her new neighbors
Warnings: None, aside from having to deal with an emotionally confused robot girl

Tempo had spent the last few days since arriving in the city alone. This was what she preferred... without Doctor LaLinde, it was hard to know what to do with anyone when it came interacting with them.

But she knew she couldn't live like this forever, which was why she had forced herself out of her apartment, determined to introduce herself to at least one person. She was starting with the lobby.

Of course, the fact that she looked absolutely terrified would be a sign that she wasn't quite ready for this...

Normally Blues didn't pay all that much attention to the people and places in the lower levels of the Libra apartments. They were just a place he walked through to get outside, and nothing special to him.

At least usually they are. Except he noticed Tempo on his way out and he just can't help it.

"Someone is going to mistake you for a statue, girl." He says from a couple feet away from the other robot, as he stopped on his way out.

For a brief moment, Tempo thought she was looking at someone else. Whoever this was, he looked a lot like Rock. Oh, he was clearly someone else entirely, but the similarities were still striking.

"... a-ah, statue?" she exclaimed. "What do you mean?"

Blues blinks, not that Tempo can see that since he is wearing his sunglasses. The fact she's standing around and doesn't seem to be doing much makes her seem kinda like a statue.

At least that's what he meant by saying that.

"I mean you're not standing out much."

"... I see," Tempo replied nervously. "I'm just... well, I'm trying to meet new people... so I can see how that'd be a problem..."

He crosses his arms over his chest as she spoke, frowning.

"More so since you're hiding inside a building," Blues said, not sounding like he actually cares for her reasons for doing this. He gestures towards the exit. "Why not go out instead?"

"... Outside."

She repeated him, and... ended up looking kind of terrified. It had been hard enough just coming down to the lobby and letting her guard down. Outside... outside was a completely different story.

"... W-well, I just wanted to get to know my neighbors..."

"... by standing in a corner."

Well okay, she wasn't really in a corner. But Blues isn't one for sticking his nose into others business unless he felt like it, and he didn't really care much about Tempo. Heck, she had just been a name he heard once in the past, not anyone he ever met.

But... She also knows Rock, so maybe it might be a good idea to at least be polite to her. Maybe.

"Well you met one, at least?" He means himself.

"... you live here too?" she said, looking up.

She blinked, and bit her lip, before resolving to do something.

"May I ask you a question?"

"On the tenth floor, yes." He didn't see any reason to lie to her, at least not yet.

And he does tilt his head to one side at her asking if she can ask him a question.

"Sure, but it doesn't mean I'll answer it."

"... Do you have some relation to Rock Light?"

She was being flat out with it, apparently.

Oh boy, what a question Tempo. He's just going to frown and give a simple one word answer.

"No."

"... I'm sorry. It's just. Your structural frame, it's... well, it appears more or less identical to his..."

She's not letting this go.

"Well you are mistaken. I don't even know who this Rock person is."

He's lying, but damned if he just wants her to shut up.

Or go away.

Or both!

"... Fine then," Tempo's going to leave it at that, but the expression on her face shows she doesn't believe him.

Blues huffs, and he's going to start to leave.

"Whatever, good luck with meeting people, Tempo."

... Wait, did she even give him her name?

Tempo frowned.

"I never told you my name was Tempo."

Whoops.

"I follow the network."

He didn't even turn when he gave that answer, heck he paused only long enough for him to say that before... Well, walking a heck of a lot quicker towards the exit.

"I'm emotionally stunted, not stupid," she called after him.

Well, that was one emotion she was now more in tune with.

Annoyance.
