Ratsel looked at the monster and dropped the large sack he had with him and pulled out his evoker. Bullets probably wouldn't be as effective as he would like so he let out a breath and put the barrel to his head, firing as Zorro appeared.

"Go! While the armor is weak!"

Fumi has The Wall out right now, for what it's worth, but she's interested in ending this fight quickly and has better and stronger allies at her disposal. With her Tao Tie at her side supporting her with Chaos Breath, she hangs back at a safe distance from the Taurus boss and commands the demonic sheep to unleash a Megidolaon attack straight off the bat.

"Let's get this over with."

Normally, Xellos wouldn't want to get directly involved in things. However, with his cruelty coming to the forefront, he's quite willing to get his hands dirty. He raises his staff, and recites a spell - "Wind which blows across eternity, gather in my hands and become my strength! BLAM GUSH!"

A powerful, concentrated stream of air and magical energy is released from the orb on his staff, and heads toward Taura. As it gathers beneath her, Xellos makes a swiping motion with his staff, and with a sadistic sneer, shouts "Break!"

First came the scan, as not only Latooni could see how the attacks were doing, but also that the creature reflected earth attacks. This would be useful to tell others, if she chose to.

The attacks caused a cacophony of results on it; Sora's attack made it step back but it appeared to hold well, just as Fumi's attack it it full force. Unfortunately it didn't do as was planned, and the attack was absorbed by the creature, giving it back whatever energy it had lost from the first attack.

Rather it was Xellos' wind attack that seemed to have felt the most damage, as it shriek in pain, but it stood up rather quickly. The battle was just starting, after all.

Its eyes grew red and in retaliation it raised its back hands, as the rocks around her ban to spun around widely, both forming a barrier, and ready to attack those that got close to her. Latooni, thanks to her persona, would see that the move would cause earth damage to anyone she attacked, or anyone that tried to attack her physically.

It then cast another spell, a light that went from her to the others, completely nullifying their positive statuses and boosts, and it would last for three turns, leaving them much more vulnerable.

Your move.

Magic wasn't exactly new, but it was the domain of La Giars and not something Ratsel was skilled at, but somehow he knew the masked man could light the way to some degree. He smirked and pulled his evoker again, placing at his temple and firing. His persona appearing and letting loose a torrent of damaging light at the monster.

He had glanced over when the girl asked them to try not to kill the creature, watched when the attacks hit. It wasn't hard to see that the one attack had caused it a great deal of damage. Wind, huh? Sora could do wind.

Lowering himself he began his next move, a wind attack that created a funnel capable of drawing enemies into the vortex.

"She's doing a lot to defend herself...don't use Ice or Water until that silver barrier goes down, and don't use physical attacks until those rocks go away..."

She focused on the spell it had just used. She knew that one, had seen demons use it. "I think she just turned off all elemental resistances, but just to be safe, don't use Earth or Almighty!"

It seemed unlikely that such a large creature would have any specific weaknesses, but Latooni liked to be thorough - and that rampart skill seemed to have been a high priority for Taura. If that was an Element Zero spell, it would throw off scans for strength, but Vasilisa could still search for weaknesses.

"How annoying."

Fumi's clearly in a pretty bad mood after her Megidolaon was absorbed outright. In her experience, nothing absorbs Almighty damage, and that attack in particular has always been something of a trump card for her. Fenghuang was a distant possibility, but its normally useful tri-elemental attack repertoire did not include the Water element and was therefore useless here.

The options were slim and not so great, especially after the boss' most recent little trick. With an irritated sigh, she decides that bolstering their own defenses might not be such a bad idea until a better opportunity for a counterattack presents itself, and casts a barrier of her own around the group.

(Shield All (Mind) - Nullify any damage once, except for Almighty. All allies.)

"My, my. I seem to have struck a sore point..." Xellos smirks and chuckles, raising his free hand - and quite intent on ignoring Latooni's little plea to not destroy this creature. He does plan to take his time, however.

Similar to his prior spell, air gathers around his palm and forms a whirling, high-pressure sphere, which he then hurls at Taura. "Dimil Arwin!"

[The combined wind attacks from Xellos and Sora knock the creature backwards, completely obliterating the barrier, and it slamming into a pile of the rotting food. The force from the knock-back sends some of the foodstuff their way, and chunks of decaying flesh falls likes rain over all of them.

That was probably going to leave a pretty disgusting mark on all of them, but now wasn't the time for gagging from the smell, however! For some reason the stone barrier was gone. Continue hitting it with all you got!

You do not cast spells, you simply rush it together as an extra turn. Reply to this post (everyone replies to it instead of replying to each other) and pick a single number between 1-50 as the tag's subject, along with an IC tag of them as they rush towards the monster.

Each number does a different amount of damage, most do normal damage and one is a 1-hit KO that will instantly end the battle.]

"An opening...!"

Xellos' smirk turns into a sadistic grin, and he blinks out of view, then reappears above Taura, dropping down with great force, aiming to strike with the bottom of his staff.

Fumi lets out a breathy laugh as Taura falls prone, pulling out laptop after laptop seemingly from nowhere and throwing them at the boss. If she could subdue Trumpeter this way, why not the zodiac monster?

Too be completely honest the rain of garbage or flesh is not a new thing for Sora to experience. Not even the smell could slow him down. When he saw the beast go down that was when he knew they'd gotten it good and smirked. It was time for Sonic Blade. Once, twice, three times he rushed the creature from various angles - each time his Keyblade hitting the mark.

Elzam smirks, drawing both his pistols and running up to point blank range. Positioning himself on the same side as his allies he proceeded to empty as much of the clip into the monster as possible.

Latooni sighed. She didn't want to hurt Taura directly, but if there was a chance to end this quickly, she'd take it. She drew her air rifle out and took potshots at several likely-looking weak points.

The dust from the combined attacks hit the monster straight and true!

With the additional combined attack, it was starting to show some wearing down, but it certainly was not out for the count. With a heaved push, it flung itself back on all its hooves.

Unfortunately now it was truly enraged.

A small number of pinkish hearts-shaped bubbles rose from the ground as it blew a kiss at all of them, sending the deadly attack their way...and fortunately seemed to have done absoluetely no damage (congratulations, everyone managed to dodge). Perhaps seeing the beast so fuming by now that there was steam coming out of its ears was a sight that it was going well...

But as the next spell began, earthly, rotting hands from the ground grabbed all of them by their ankles, and the barriers that had been cast by Fumi exploded before disappearing, taking the arms with them. Yet the sensation still lingered...

No time to think about that, however, as Taura blew another kiss. The earth cracked and groan as rocks flew out, darkish energy tearing at their souls, sending them screams of hellish nightmares and dark energy. Unfortunately, it also caused a deep confusion in Latooni [Rolled a confusion for her based on the number you picked, see the status chart], and revealed one of Sora's weaknesses, a dark attack, sending him falling to the ground [Sora now has Down status, see the status chart above for info, he'll get up for his next turn.]

That gave it another chance to strike, and so it did, charging at the keyblade user, and hitting him physically with its gigantic bladed hooves. Thankfully their Personas prevented them from getting completely sliced up like a normal civilian, however, there was no doubt that this attack still hurt a lot.

Your Move.

Ow, ow. "Ow." Okay, that hurt. He got back to his feet slower than he would have, his free hand rubbing at his face. Eyes narrowed at the monster, determination to take this thing down so it couldn't hurt anyone else set in deeper then it had. His own pain was pushed aside, he could take it - this was nothing. The attack had hurt but it also gave Sora a clue.

"If anyone can use light attacks, I suggest you do it." Only a dark attack could make him that vulnerable. If only he could. Time to put to use that ability he gained upon arrival to this world. "Go!"

He pointed toward the beast, allowing it to attack and hoping to inflict it with Exhaustion.

"Water, Ice, or Light," Latooni mumbled, shaking her head to clear it. "Water, Ice, or Light..."

She'd have been perfectly set up to take down Taura herself if her attacks weren't limited to Earth - even in her confusion, she could hear Vasilisa and Skogsra refusing to use their other elemental attacks.

As it was, she tried to tell Vasilisa to use...which skill? The power-up one. Which one was that...?

With one member hurt and another muttering to herself Elzam reached into his bag and pulled out the propane tank from his cooking cart. Taking a breath he ejected the spent clip from his pistol and took a breath.

"Now is the time to storm the battlefield my friends!"

With that he charged the monster moving to slide under it as he dropped the tank and continued to roll out of the way.

"Target in sight!"

With that he started firing at the tank to let the propane explosion do its worst.

After a barrage like that, and with no barrier up, Fumi knows it's important to keep up the health of the party so they can finish this fight without any casualties. Since it's been working so far and she's probably the best outfitted for the role at this point, she decides that a healing spell is likely in order.

"I can keep this up for a while longer. The rest of you, finish it off as quickly as you can."

Not that they weren't planning to anyway, of course. Fumi casts a quick Mediarahan, returning everyone to full health in anticipation of Taura's next brutal assault.

Xellos peers at Sora when he makes that call. Light isn't generally his domain, but the young girl had said to wait until the barrier was down before using ice, and now it is.

The dark energy he's struck with is absorbed by Black Spy - who has come forth of his own accord. Xellos isn't exactly excited by the strange thing's intervention, but the thing is useful. The earth damage does cause some pain, however. The healing spell counteracts that, thankfully.

Fumi and Ratsel both get a "Very well, then," in answer to the request to finish things, as Xellos raises his staff. Far be it from him to call on the power of a different retainer than Zelas, but the situation calls for a bit of variety that his direct superior doesn't quite have. "Supreme King with the frozen soul! Grant me the power of your icy rage! Dynast Breath!" An icy blue spell circle draws itself in the air in front of Xellos, and unleashes a powerful blast of frigid energy.

The attacks on it become much more calculated as this battle goes on, and with Sora's Physical attack, Taura kneels again, just in time for Elzam's...uh....unique theatrics to light up the sky and fill the air with the smell of roasting metalic cow hide.

Then the ice attack from the Mazoku afterwards freezes the entire thing up, as it pathetically stands there, unable to move at all. All four arms are barely holding up and its movements seem much more heavy and hard.

Completely frozen, it's time for another group attack!

As an additional note, everyone from now on will reply to the monster tag and not each other like we do with the all-out attacks. That way, there will be no waiting to tag with each other and once all five have replied, I'll post a reply to the last one and order up the attacks myself in the best optimal result for everyone.]

"Looks like it's working. Shame I'm out of laptops."

Smirking a bit, Fumi turns to her Persona, which has been standing ready the entire time.

"Have at it, I suppose. You've been waiting long enough."

The ethereal grey brick wall that's been standing next to her throughout the fight grows an anguished looking face in response to her command, screaming and sending out a shockwave toward the crippled boss.

(ooc: Not actually a Persona attack since it's an all-out, but she doesn't really have any weapons to attack with personally. Just for flavor's sake here. :))

"Thanks." Came the appreciation for the healing spell along with a nod. When the beast froze he didn't hesitate. With the Keyblade tight in his grip Sora dashed out to met Taura head-on, jumping at the last minute to aim his attack at her body. That blade began to spin in his grasp hitting the creature several times.

Dropping down to the ground Sora darted away from the feet and back towards the others. "This guy's tough."
