They always say the first day on a new job is always the hardest.

But tell me...did those tasks include being taken from your own homeworld, dumped into a city you didn't recognize, meeting a man dressed in the purest of whites with a butterfly mask, to be bestowed the power of Persona, and then having some Men in Black lead you to the city hall saying you were expected?

What a way to start the first of September...

As they usher the last of you in, you realize that they've been preparing this for quite a while. There is a small table with food on the right, mixed cuisine (although the main theme seems to be Japanese dishes). Some strange computer program appears next to you and seems to be translating what you are saying so those before you understand. Language barriers? Don't be silly!

Most of the men ignore you after that. You are expected to mingle amongst yourselves a bit before the main 'show' starts, it seems....

The 'girl' (or at least the person who was closest to hear that) turned around, and didn't look too happy.

"The hell you talkin' about? I sure ain't a girl." Man, what the heck was happening in his dream now? Wasn't he going off to fight his third opponent? Unless...

"Wait...are you...the guy I'm supposed to fight?"

UGH that mug wow. Urataros drew back, recoiling probably a little more than he had to.

"I can see that."

Oh, hold on a second. This kid had asked him something else, hadn't he? "The guy you're supposed to fight? Maybe you're mistaking me for someone else?" He motioned smoothly in Kanji's general direction. "I prefer spending time with the ladies."

"Yeah well, so do I!" he snapped back a little too fast...before realizing what he had said and blushing. "Wait no, I-I didn't mean it like that I meant...DAMMIT!" Why was this happening?

"The heck is up with my dream anyway? I was in the Grand Prix tournament right now not...some town hall!"

"Ohh?" Urataros's tone turned distinctly teasing as he pretended to think for a second. "So you're pretty popular with the ladies, too, huh? Well, there are plenty of women who go for the strong and silent type..."

This was basically what he did with his buddies ALL DAY LONG.

"What? No! I ain't like..." Oh gods, he was just making this worst for himself. "Look, can you get off my case or somethin'?! I don't need this...crap in my dream!"

"There's nothing wrong with being popular," Urataros said with a smile and a little flick of the wrist. He put a hand to his chin.

"Do you usually dream about this kind of thing? How unusual."

Oh god at this point he just...

"HEY! YOU GONNA STOP THIS, OR AM I GONNA MAKE YOU?!" Kanji no. Calm down Kanji...

"Relax," said Urataros, and his defense, this was him toning it down. He wagged a finger at Kanji.

"You won't stay popular if you can't keep a lid on that temper of yours. You know, I have a senpai just like you. If he just cleaned up his act a little, he wouldn't have to be so jea-lo-us of me and Eri-chan."

P.S. HE AND THIS SENPAI FOUGHT ALL THE TIME.
