They always say the first day on a new job is always the hardest.

But tell me...did those tasks include being taken from your own homeworld, dumped into a city you didn't recognize, meeting a man dressed in the purest of whites with a butterfly mask, to be bestowed the power of Persona, and then having some Men in Black lead you to the city hall saying you were expected?

What a way to start the first of September...

As they usher the last of you in, you realize that they've been preparing this for quite a while. There is a small table with food on the right, mixed cuisine (although the main theme seems to be Japanese dishes). Some strange computer program appears next to you and seems to be translating what you are saying so those before you understand. Language barriers? Don't be silly!

Most of the men ignore you after that. You are expected to mingle amongst yourselves a bit before the main 'show' starts, it seems....

Wow that's a downer; but a little to be expected. Nothing in life worth having is... easy to get? Was that the saying?

Who cares, really? The fact of the matter is that she can still flip skirts and peep on people with her ninja skills so the magic thing can come to her slowly if it has to. She'll make do for now.

"I didn't introduce myself, did I? I'm Jun Kuga, nice to meetcha."

He nods and offers his hand in return for a handshake.

"Kaito Watari. Cool to meet you too."

She grasps his hand and shakes it all firm like. She's probably shaken more hands today than she has in a long time. Curse these almost pseudo formal situations.

"So, Kaito, you got a girlfriend or boyfriend back home? Someone special like that?"

It might be rude to assume he wasn't from here; but come on, the people from here weren't too talkative so far.

[awww_yeeeeeaaaah]

"Hmm, that's a seeeeecreeeeeet~" Wink.

"Whyever do you ask?"

"I'm making conversation, that's all."

Making regular folk conversation was better than wandering around all confused like, wasn't it?

"Kind of a personal thing to ask with just making conversation, isn't it?"

Jun decided to omit the part where she has little to no respect for how delicate personal subjects can be. Probably for the best.

"Not at all; it's not like it's anything to be ashamed of, is it? I'm a pretty open minded girl."

Plus it was one of the first things that popped into her head.

Well it's not like he's ashamed, it's just...

"I'm single." He then pauses to consider what he just said.
