Summary: This is both a Newcomer log AND a General 13th hour log
Warnings: That depends who is there. Remember to mark your titles clearly if any warnings need to be issued!

▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

 

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

The Taurus monster had come and pass, as had Golden Week. The city was rebuilding itself, and with the aid of the Visitors, progress was going swiftly.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safey, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside during the next few nights and let the city police and Visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get a little momento from home.

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[ This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts.

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too! You are, of course, not required to reply here. You can do your own independant log if you'd like!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

[ This is accurate. She smiles, shaking her head. ] I've received more than enough help from you - it wouldn't do well on my conscience if I were to ask for more.

[ ... That wouldn't do well on her conscience, either. ] I'll be certain to repay your kindness one day.

[A small chuckle.]

There's no need for that. Nothing gives me more pleasure than assisting you humans.

[It's just that his way of helping is...weird.]

[ ... Humans? The only people Lucina's come across that puts a distinction between themselves and people are... shape shifters.

She's in a new world, sure, but does that mean there's a chance Alcor's a shape shifter as well? He doesn't have the ears, though. ]

... [ Hmm. Maybe she should ask? It sounds rather rude, though. She's staring at him a little more intently, and it's painfully obvious from her face that she's conflicted. To ask or not to ask? ]

[...He stares back at Lucina curiously, genuinely wondering if he offended her or disturbed her or something. Oh dear...he hoped he didn't.]

...Did I say something inappropriate?

Oh? [ She blinks, then shakes her head. ] No, not at all. I hadn't meant to come off as such-

I was merely wondering... Er. [ She might as well ask. ] Pardon me for asking, but are you not a... human?

[jumyouboshi]

No, I am not.

[He admits it rather casually. He made it quite obvious from his first appearance, after all.]

[ Huh. So that explains a lot. She might not have noticed the whole floating thing in the beginning - considering, well, she almost had a heart attack and stuff.

What did that make him? ] I see. [ It's obvious from her expression that's not enough information, but... it's rude to pry, especially at a first meeting like this. So she's going to change the subject! ]

Er, also - is there a chance I could find out if my comrades have arrived?

[jumyouboshi]

[It's quite understandable.]

Ah yes, there is. You should have received a communication device upon arrival.

[heritors]

Communication device?

[ Her face shows obvious concentration, trying to remember if she got anything like that.

Considering she landed in the middle of the Libra ward without an explanation... ] I don't recall receiving anything. Would there be another way to acquire it?

[jumyouboshi]

...Let me rephrase that. You should have come into contact with it upon arrival.

[He suddenly reaches out, hand straying near her ear (or behind it, as that's where the COMP should have attached itself to Lucina). propriety what propriety]

[heritors]

...! [ It's an automatic reaction - she flinches back, away from Alcor's hand. Only taking a moment before standing up straight again. He means no harm, right.

Was something there?

Her hand moves to feel the back of her ear, where his hand had been hovering moments before. Oh. ] ... Is this it?

[Alcor blinks, and then remembers ah yes, humans don't take too kindly to being touched randomly. He retracts his hand and puts it back in his pocket.]

If you feel a device there, then it should be the COMP, yes.

[Lucina's reaction was better compared to his own the first time...at least she didn't fling it at people on reflex.]

Hm. [ When did that get there? She's not entirely happy with the fact that there's something attached to her head like this, but if it can get her in contact with the others, maybe it's worth a shot.

... Pardon her for being completely technologically blind. She doesn't know what a car is, yet. ] How does this work, exactly?

Physical contact is needed for them to deploy.

[Or something.]

...It may startle you.

[The whole "suddenly becoming a twin pair of glasses" thing is pretty strange, even for human technology.]

[ She nods - a few more seconds and then...

Bam! There's the glasses.

... And her jumping back, blinking. ] How in the gods... [ Her eyes are going to go cross eyed from staring at these. ]

[jumyouboshi]

[He lets out a small chuckle.]

Human technology has developed quite a bit, hasn't it?

Er... [ Give her a moment (or two), she's wondering what the heck these things are.

Okay, she's temporarily done staring at the glasses. ] Quite so. I had no idea this was possible. [ She chuckles nervously.

Then she mumbles to herself, a little more quietly, ] I suppose it'll take some time before I understand how to use this... device.

[He nods again.]
