Summary: This is both a Newcomer log AND a General 13th hour log

▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

The Taurus monster had come and pass, as had Golden Week. The city was rebuilding itself, and with the aid of the Visitors, progress was going swiftly.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safey, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside during the next few nights and let the city police and Visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get a little momento from home.

▼ Ode of the Newcomer

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

▼ Extra Long OOC Blurb

[ This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts.

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too! You are, of course, not required to reply here. You can do your own independant log if you'd like!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

Aquarius Ward: OPEN

[It took a little longer than normal to finish up practice and studying but Sora is on her way back to the Libra ward to get some sleep. After living in a monster-infested place for almost two years, it didn't seem to phase her so much.

Feel free to run into her on the way.]

Libra Ward: CLOSED to Owen Harper

[There was a reason why she didn't go out on the 13th Hour: all the monsters trying to attack everyone. The monsters in Discedo seemed to be nothing compared to some of the creatures trying to attack her. Such as this little freak coming up from behind and slashing her legs.]

!!!

[She rolled down on the ground and winced, losing her rod in the process. Oh great, just what she needed right now. It didn't help that a few more of those creatures were coming out and looking at the woman like she was prey.]

Oh no...

[Owen had been wandering around this godforsaken place for almost 20 minutes now and to say it was inhospitable was an understatement; it was even worse than where he'd just been.

So far, he'd been able to slink around without too much confrontation, that changed when he turned a corner and saw a girl on the ground being surrounded by some freaky-ass creatures he'd never seen before.]

Oi! Get the hell away from her!

[That was the only warning he gave before he started baring down on the things with bullets flying.

Hopefully they'd go down without too much of a fight or without too many more showing up, he only had so many bullets on him.]

[She shielded her head as she saw the bullets hit a few of them enough so she can scramble out of the way. Why did that voice sound familiar?

And where did her hitting rod go?!]

T-Thank you-!

[But there was a problem: the ones that got shot were quickly replaced with more. Seriously?!]

[As Owen got closer, it occurred to him that she looked really familiar, but he got distracted by the things suddenly regrouping.]

Fucking hell.

[Without hesitation, he put himself between the girl and her assailants, gun aimed at the group.]

Just..bugger off now and we won't need to have any sort of confrontation.

[He didn't suspect they were going to listen. This wasn't looking so good.

He turned his face a bit so he was speaking over his shoulder to the girl who, now that he thought about it, really looked like Sora, (although that was obviously impossible)but didn't let his eyes leave the creatures. At least, if they attacked, he'd see it coming.]

If you can move, you might want to consider doing that, these things don't look like they're the listening sort.

[Impossible? Yeah right. Nothing was impossible given the fact that everyone lives in a city with demons, terrorists and they have the ability to summon other sides of themselves. So two people trapped in the same world meeting up?

Highly unlikely but not impossible.

Speaking of which, Sora just realized that she did know that voice and OH GOD THE MONSTERS ARE MULTIPLYING.]

Harper-san?!

[One of the monsters lunged towards him from behind but Sora found her rod and managed to hit it hard.]

[At the sound of his name, he finally turned to really look at her and was more than a little surprised to see it actually was the girl he'd been thinking of.]

Sora!

[Of course, turning his back on the things was hardly the smartest move and one of them leapt at him. Luckily, he had his leather coat, so most of the hit cut through that, though he could feel that some of it had gotton through all three layers and hit skin.]

Shit-

[He aimed over his shoulder to shoot the one off his back and then turned on the rest. Six shots later and all he got was a 'click' signaling the last of his ammo.]

Sora, you need to get out of here.

And leave you alone?! Who you do think I am?!

[Seriously, why the hell did you say that knowing full well that Sora will never leave? It was then that a couple tried to attack but she jumped out of the way and smacked them again. But a simple rod couldn't hold them off forever and it was getting to the point that they needed a miracle to escape.]

I have to protect you too! I refuse to leave!

[And then the creatures lunged at them again but something was stirring...something within the woman but wasn't sure what it was. A voice echoed in her head...]

[To anyone else, Sora just looked more like a statue and not paying attention to her surroundings. But as soon as she heard those words, a small glowing card appeared in front of her...waiting to be called. With both hands stretched out, she grasped the card with the winds picking up around her. She knew what this was now and she called it out.]

...Persona!

[The monsters unsure what to think, stopped as a big and bright firebird appeared from behind the woman, wings expanding as a way to intimidate the creatures back.]

What the hell!?

[That was it, between creepy little monsters and now a giant phoenix, Owen was done.

He pocketed his empty gun and turned to scoop Sora off her feet and stepped back so the bird and the monsters could maybe pick each other off.

He definitely had a very suspicious glare set on that bird.]

[Hey, what are you doing?!]

Wait! The phoenix is on our side! It came from me!

[As proof, the persona circled around the two as if protecting them. It's just protecting what its other self want to keep safe and as further proof, Sora issued a command to it.]

Kouha!

[And the phoenix unleashed a small amount of Light energy on the other monsters. Ok, run now!]

....dammit. [This makes no sense whatsoever.

But he definitely takes off once the bird attacks. That doesn't stop him from needing to ask questions, though.]

What do you mean it came from you? You couldn't do that before, could you?

N-No! It just came! I just know it's not going to hurt us!

[Silly doctor, the bird persona is going to follow them no matter what since you're carrying the caster.]
