Summary: This is both a Newcomer log AND a General 13th hour log

▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

 

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

The Taurus monster had come and pass, as had Golden Week. The city was rebuilding itself, and with the aid of the Visitors, progress was going swiftly.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safey, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside during the next few nights and let the city police and Visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get a little momento from home.

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[ This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts.

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too! You are, of course, not required to reply here. You can do your own independant log if you'd like!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

13th Hour

[Miyako did just finish a quick fight with a demon. Or rather, her Persona did with a Mazio spell. Just when she's about to take a breather, she saw the metal bird's approach and hold her guard, watching.

...Only to lower her phone when it didn't attack her. She gives it a curious tilt of her head.]

Oh?

[seiyaaa]

[ it cries again, swooping to and fro, dashing in the direction of a street that leads towards Junes, then coming back to her repeatedly. It looks like it really wants some attention... If her thought processes are taking a little long, it may start tugging at her sleeve or even at a lock of hair in that direction. You know. For emphasis. ]

[Don't worry, after watching the bird for a moment, Miyako decided to follow it. Her Persona, Chamunda, follows behind her.

Lead on, birdie.]

If she's paying attention to her surroundings in an acceptable fashion, she will be able to hear the faint scuttling of too many legs as she approaches the building, but it seems to tap tap tap its way away down some alleyway without regarding her. The little metal bird seems to be going in the opposite direction anyway... what does she do? ]

[Miyako almost pause when she heard a faint sound, and glance at where it seems to come from. Then she looks back at the metal bird, watching it fly.

While she chose to follow the bird, the sounds she heard was worrying enough. It may belong to a monster prowling around.

After a brief pause, Miyako continue to follow after the bird.]

[seiyaaa]

[ The bird peeps and swings its way around to a fire escape stairway, the bottom prongs of which are already resting on the ground. She should now be close enough to hear the faint sound of metal hitting something hard enough to make it ring coming from the roof, although nothing else seems to be coming from so high up. The bird's movements are a little more urgent, coming to a rest at the second landing. Her move! ]

[Giving the bottom prongs a brief glance, Miyako turn her attention back to the bird as she catches up to it.

The faint sound caught her attention earlier, briefly slowing down her quickened footsteps to hear it. Hm...the most likely assumption is who or whatever's making that sound, they probably left the prongs on the ground.

Chamunda keep watch behind her, as Miyako look at the bird.]

I wonder if you're leading me to an ally or foe.

[She doesn't mind, either way. It only affects her approach to where ever they're going to.]

[seiyaaa]

[ the bird looks up and gives another peep - an alarmed tone, a warning - and is interrupted by another louder shrill metal clang. three large objects go flying off the roof. one lands in the alley with a loud thud behind miyako, and another grazes the metal railing before also landing in the alleyway. the last one hits the third landing in a way that just allows it to slip and fall easily onto the second landing, knocking the little bird from its perch. it falls with a clatter down to the first landing.

from miyako's distance, it's easily discernible to pretty much anyone that the two new arrivals on the ground of the alleyway are alive and rattling. depending on her eyesight, she may now be aware that there are large, menacing beetles currently sharing space with her on the ground floor. the ones on the ground are distracted for a turn, and the beetle on the second landing has already begun to orient itself. what does miyako do? ]

[She gives a quirk of a smile, as Chamunda cast Tarukaja over her, temporarily enhancing her power. She draws out her sword, watching the beetles carefully. Her phone is still inside her pocket, but within reach in case she can't damage them with her blade.]

Are you going to attack me, or scuttle away like bugs?
