▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

The Taurus monster had come and pass, as had Golden Week. The city was rebuilding itself, and with the aid of the Visitors, progress was going swiftly.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safey, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside during the next few nights and let the city police and Visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get a little momento from home.

▼ Ode of the Newcomer

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[ This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts.

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too! You are, of course, not required to reply here. You can do your own independant log if you'd like!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

Ask the stran-- locals? [ Talking to strangers? Well... if it's for Satou, maybe he can muster up the competence... ] Yeah, right, sure. You sure they'll be able to help us, though?

[She raises an eyebrow, but gives him a nod.] Well, they should at least be able to give us a city name, so that'll be a start.

That might be written somewhere too...

[ But she has a point, as much as he hates to admit it. Well, actually he won't verbally admit it at all. ]

But a start is a start.

Then we can compare verbal information with written. So, let's go. Once we make a start we can go from there. [And Zoe starts marching off towards a store.]

Oh, uh... Yeah, sure.

[ She seems to know what she's doing, anyway. More so than he does. That assertive quality is something Mikale subconsciously latches onto as he follows after her. ]

How are we going to ask? Won't they think we're crazy?

[She glances over her shoulder at him with a confident grin.] We simply ask them where we are and that's it, easy enough. Who cares if they think we're crazy, it doesn't matter if they tell us what we need to know.

It doesn't?

[ He doesn't know how true that is. His reputation may have never been much, but it was something he was slightly proud of...

Oh well. She seems to know more about this sort of thing than him, so he must be wrong. ]

If you say so, I'll believe you.

[While Zoe's reputation was pretty bad, though she is striving to improve it. But she doesn't mind someone thinking her weird if it means that they can find out more about this place.

And when he says he believes her, she looks faintly surprised for a second, before giving him a genuinely happy smile.]

Thank you... And sorry, I should have introduced myself. My name is Zoe Gallais.

[ Oh, a smile.

He tries to smile back. Look at him try!!! It's kind of a fail attempt. ]

Uh, oh, uh thanks nice to meet you, Miss Gallais. I'm Mikale Godono. [ He bows his head, because he's been around Satou for too long. ]

[Yeah, Zoe notices that it's kind of a fail and she chuckles faintly. She won't prod about it though.]

Just Zoe is fine, ah... What should I call you?

Uh, Mikale is okay.

[ He answered a question all on his own!

Waiting for that to blow up in his face. ]

Okay then, it's a pleasure to meet you, Mikale!

[Another smile, before she enters the shop and goes straight up to the cashier to ask about where they are.

Cue him telling them the city name and also going on about how they 'must be new Visitors'.] ... Huh, looks like we're not the only ones to have been whisked away here.

Huh? But that's...

[ He isn't quite sure what that is. Other than a problem, but he is too embarrassed by that simple answer to give it. So he just lets his voice trail off there. ]

Did he tell you how we get back? [ Did Mikale just not hear it? ]

It's been happening for months, apparently. And we're in a city called Hinoto-Ri.

[She huffs some of her hair away from her eyes, before crossing her arms again. She looks a bit less pleased at what she says next.]

And we can't leave. There's a powerful forcefield, I believe that's what it's called, surrounding the city. So we're effectively stuck here.

[ She isn't here and he needs to be with her. Clearly. ]

And we don't even have money for this... Hinoto-Ri!

[Now she moves her hands to her hips, casually looking around the shop.]

And we need to go to town hall, in the... Leo Ward, I think that's where he said it is. [She turns back to the store clerk, and after some sharp words, he gives them directions.]

Satou's... she's waiting...

[ She is, right? She must be so worried about him...

But he nods. Okay, Leo Ward. He just needs to take this one step at a time and it'll be okay. ]

Okay, Leo Ward. Maybe we can find a map somewhere here while we're at it.

Hmm... Do you think she's here?

[But she nods, giving the store clerk a sharp look before going to leave the store.]

We can look on the way, since he says he doesn't have any. But I'm sure someone will lend us one if we ask nicely enough.

I'm not sure...

[ He can't feel her in his head through their link, which is a bad sign. He hopes it's just because she's out of his radius or really moody. ]

But that sounds good. Let's stick together? [ He doesn't want Zoe on her own in a strange town. ]

Well, we can also see if she's around here, just in case.

[Nod, nod, before Zoe gives him another grin.]

Of course! Two minds are better than one after all, and it would be far more comforting to wander around this strange place with someone else.

Are you sure?

[ He mumbles at the 'two minds are better' bit. Satou would probably say he had a great mind and then proceed to tease him affectionately. So he decides to agree with Zoe, though his nod is still slightly unsure. ]

Yeah, right, actually. I'll make sure no one picks on you or anything... [ mumble mumble, caring about someone he just met is weird. ]

[Zoe seems to have found something he said hilarious, since she bursts into giggles.]

Ehe, thank you, Mikale! But you don't need to worry about me, I'm more tough than I appear to be. [And Zoe is more likely to be the one picking on someone in most cases.]

Y-yeah well... just in case.

[ He's made a safe friend, right? She seems like a nice enough person. ]

You can never be too careful in a strange city.

That is true. And we would be safer if we stuck together. [Don't worry Mikale, Zoe is pretty nice to most people.]

So, let's get going. Hopefully we'll come across a map vendor on the way. [And she starts to head out the store.]
