▼ When it is darkest, men see the stars...(13th hour)

The night sky once again turned red as the 13th hour hit the city. By now it was almost too easy to accept it. The moon (or what was of it up there) shone, affecting the monster population in subtle ways.

The Taurus monster had come and pass, as had Golden Week. The city was rebuilding itself, and with the aid of the Visitors, progress was going swiftly.

By now, even the strange events which had happened almost seemed a little too common. The pulls from a new building, or the odd creatures that showed up and increased the population for that hour gave rise to new oppertunities; both good and bad.

To keep the population safey, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside during the next few nights and let the city police and Visitors do their job, despite the dividing population on this issue. For the most part, there wouldn't be much resistance.

Each night, the sky was always filled with at least one or two signs of something new, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible.

Who knew. Maybe tonight you'd get a little momento from home.

▼ Ode of the Newcomer

You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said. What time you showed here seems to be as random as everything else; if you were lucky it was during the day, if not, well the 13th hour was rather dangerous. Fortunately, there was a high chance you'd be spotted quickly.

...hopefull anyway.

There is one word that stays with you, however.

Persona.

So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...

[ This is a dual log, both 13th hour, or newcomer posts.

This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour.

If you are a newcomer, write OPEN and what hour they arrived. It can be the 13th hour if you want too! You are, of course, not required to reply here. You can do your own independant log if you'd like!

Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log, you can level up persona, but not in the same thread and the same day, IC-wise. Please do not abuse this. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on different days. The threads should be long enough that an attack is possible and shouldn't just be a few comments just for the sake of leveling up (Ie, we want effort in them, as much as you would with a normal log.).

If you submitted a building and it was accepted, feel free to start a post with them discovering it! The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).

FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! Also, make sure your characters could logically take on the creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant creature when they couldn't normally.]

[ Robin's silent for a moment, trying to read Owain's expression. He didn't... he didn't look like he was joking. But he wasn't making any sense, either. None at all - even if it was a joke...

She shakes her head. Tring to understand Owain was just asking for a headache. ]

I don't know what you're talking about. I can assure you that I'm not a man, and you should know that well enough.

We're somewhere we're not supposed to be, the threat of the fell-dragon is near - we don't have time for any games, Owain.

Gods, you kind of sound like him.

[Why does he have to deal with all the crazies?]

Look, I have to...go smite evil. With my partner fang. O' Missiletainn, sword of legends. You know. A hero is never idle.

You really don't...

[ She shakes her head. This is strange. Stranger than waking up in a field with no memories. How does one wake up in a field remembering somebody as somebody else? ]

Look, separating isn't a good idea. There could be enemies about, we need to regroup, and find out where we are. I wish I had some way to show you that-...

...My sword!

[ With a very-purposely non-threatening motion, she draws her blade. ]

Remember this? You named it "The Legendary Deathbringer." [ ...Actually, it was "The Legendary Deathbringer, the Sword Which Brings Death to All Who Oppose It" but hey who's keeping track. ]

Look, you really don't have to-

[This was said as she drew her blade and...and so it was.]

That blade!

It can't be! Robin would never leave The Legendary Deathbringer, the Sword Which Brings Death to All Who Oppose It out of his sight! I recognize that pommel! The engraving! Can I see it?...closer, I mean. [C'mon, he's gotta hold it and really look at it and stuff. C'mon.]

Yes, of course. [ She doesn't hesitate to offer him her sword. Just don't twitchy sword-hand her or something. ]

[Awesome. He'll give it an experimental slash in some not-chick-who-thinks-she's-Robin direction. You know, over...there.] It is Deathbringer! I'd recognize this sword anywhere. But then that means...

[He's not sure how he's going to take this. On one hand, absurd claims. On the other hand, Deathbringer and the more he thinks about it the more there's a familiarity. Just...weird, yo.] And you say you're my aunt.

That's right. Chrom is my husband, so your mother is my sister-in-law. [ ....Come on, it makes sense. Owain has to see that even male Robin was pretty much in love with Chrom. And vice-versa. ]

[Well yeah, it was pretty obvious, but surprise aunt Robin?

Oh, right, have Deathbringer back. Bam.]

Okay, so assuming you are Robin and you're... [Nobody tell Lucina.] ...married to Uncle Chrom and you're our tactician...what do we do now?

The first thing we need is more information. Where are we, for one, and how did we wind up here? Then we need to find the rest of our companions. [ Who hopefully aren't confused on Robin's gender. ]

We should probably start by looking for civilization - people to ask for information, shelter, and it'll be the likeliest place to find any of our companions.

[ None of those things sounded like "smiting evil," Owain. Hope you're up for it. ]

Ah! A cunning approach, in which we shall infiltrate this strange land and delve deep into it for answers. A stratagem befitting of...the lady tactician. [He'll go with it but you got a long ways to go before you end up being accepted as a Robin.] I shall call it Operation Shadowstalk Darkloom.

[ Yeah, sorry, she's already walked away.

A ways away, from atop a hill, Robin waves back to Owain. ]

I think I see signs of a city this way!

Uh. [Gods, wait up, he's hurrying, he's hurrying.]

I was there earlier! I met a few people and they seemed as confused as I am about this.

Were they...? [ That's less than helpful. Still - ] We'll still have a better chance of learning something there than out here.

Yeah, probably, and I don't really feel like camping - heroic though it may be - if there's a town nearby.

We're not really equipped for camping anyway. [ Since, you know, lugging that kind of equipment usually fell on a pack animal.

Like Frederick. ]

And it would get kind of boring without everyone else around. [Is he going to ask? Okay, sure.] So, if you're my aunt from...somewhere else...then...okay. I traveled across time to save my mom so there's multiple timelines. And those timelines can be different. And obviously I'm an Owain and not an Owynne in your world since you recognized me. But there's got to be other differences! You can't just be the only one. [If you're Robin and he's still going to hold back on that. Even if she seems really really really familiar.] And does this mean I've got an Aunt Chromia somewhere?

[Walk walk walk.]

[ Ugh, she was trying to avoid thinking about that particular topic. Focus on the important stuff, you know? Like finding the rest of the army, finding out where they were... ]

I'd rather not think about the fact that there's a guy version of myself...

But if we're talking about differences, if I'm not married to Chrom, then our children, Lucina and Morgan, won't exist in your timeline. There might be other children in their stead, though, who don't exist in mine.

Heh, actually I'm friends with both of them! Morgan's not my cousin. Lucina is. Blue hair, dresses like the Hero King, wields the mighty Falchion, ancestral sword of the Exalts of Ylisse...right? Or maybe she's completely different. Maybe she's a healer like Brady. If you know who he is.

[...that is an odd thought.]
