Summary: The Battleships Nadesico swoops over the city and lands in the park

[Ruri looked over her controls, the Nadesico was operating as it should, however keeping it running completely on her own was taking its toll on the girl and she decided it was time to put the ship down. Radioing the city to warn of the event before she started to bring it down avoid as much panic as possible she let out a breath.]

"This is Ruri. I'm landing the ship in the park."

[The ship came out of the cloud bank it was hiding in and circled the city slowly twice, scanning the ground for a place that was large enough to accommodate it and wouldn't cause the citizens any worry due to a big battleship sitting there. After the second pass the ship slowly came to settle over the Capricorn Ward, in an unused field that was a ways away from the trains but not unwalkable.

The ground shaking slightly as it landed and steam belched from its exhaust ports, the ramp to the catapults opened, and then a ramp down lowered. Shortly after the small blue haired girl started down the ramp, dwarfed next to the size of the ship.]

That wouldn't be a problem with mine. It only came with the wear parts it's got on now.

So...would it be okay to store it aboard?

As long as you don't do anything to damage the systems I don't see a problem with that.

Yes, you are the second pilot to ask to store their robot in the Nadesico.

Really? I am? Then who's the first?

I'm certain you'll meet her. If she wants that data released I will, but until then I have found its best to respect people's privacy.

[second_destiny]

"Her..." In that case, I think I know who it is. I've only met one girl with a machine like that here.

[electricyousei]

[She nods a bit]

There are only a few people from societies that can build mechanized infantry of that type so yes, I imagine it will be a small group.

[second_destiny]

That's an understatement. Most of the people I talk to don't have anything close to the kind of technology I'm used to. I bet there isn't even any more places that have space colonies.

[electricyousei]

Given how this world is and the way people are grouped together, I don't think space colonies are needed. Maybe someway of reclaiming the area outside the cities.

[second_destiny]

[Asem shakes his head.]

I'm not talking about this place. I'm talking about all the different places that people here have come from.

[electricyousei]

Well, they seem to be pulling from every conceivable form of reality, so it would be logical to only have a finite of any one type.

I'm more curious if there is a society even more technologically advanced that will be pulled from.

Yeah, me too. I think it'd be neat to hear about the distant future.

[electricyousei]

Just more to hear that humanity still exists.
