Where: Hinoto-Ri Public Pool

Summary: We have a pool now!  Summer fun for everyone!
Warnings: Probably none.

[It's summer, and what would summer be without a pool?  Well, thankfully for the good citizens and Visitors of Hinoto-Ri, the public pool is finally open for business!  With three different pools, a snack bar, and plenty of space on the grass for playing frisbee or just laying out to get some sun, there's plenty of summertime fun for everyone!  There are also a number of pool toys to use, ranging from basketball hoops and plastic balls, water noodles, boogie boards, and just about anything else you can think of.]

"Oho, I see. And I'm Zoe Gallais, it's nice to meet you." She gives her another nod as she starts putting some sunscreen on her hands to rub into her arms.

"I'm Ruri. Hoshino Ruri. Its nice to meet you too. Let me know if you need help."

"Thank you very much, Ruri, I'll keep that in mind." Zoe gives her a cheery smile, before she tilts her head a bit.

"... However if you do not mind me asking, how long have you been in this city?"

"Since September, I was one of the earlier people to get drawn here."

[papillonmagique]

"September? My, that's... certainly a while." Zoe taps her chin in thought for a moment.

"... Do you know much about this place?"

[electricyousei]

"I know a fair amount about some things, but almost nothing about others. Was there something you wanted to know?"

[papillonmagique]

"What, exactly, are we supposed to be protecting this city from?"

[electricyousei]

"I'm not sure. I'm honestly not sure anyone is. I suspect it has something to do with the barrier."

[papillonmagique]

"I imagine so." Zoe rests her chin on her hand, sighing quietly.

"... And what about these Personas? Is there any information about them other than 'they are part of us' and can be used for combat or support?

[electricyousei]

She frowns, an actual frown instead of her usual deadpan.

"They're not scientific and I can't figure them out in any sort of technological way? I'm loathe to use the word magic but it may be that."

[papillonmagique]

"Hmm, I thought as much. Magic is very common where I'm from, but I've never seen magic like this before."

She swings her feet in the water some more, still looking thoughtful.

"... Is it possible for our Personas to change or anything like that? Since they're a part of us, and people change over time."

[electricyousei]

"Magic is what people call things they have not yet figured out how they work where I come from. Its... Frustrating. As for change, I think some peoples' have changed, but I don't know. I hardly use mine. She's.... Well...."

Ruri just sighs.

[papillonmagique]

"... Something a bit too personal for your liking?"

[electricyousei]

"Someone who died."

[papillonmagique]

Zoe frowns, glancing down at the water before she sighs again.

"... I apologize. It wasn't my place to pry."

[electricyousei]

She shakes her head.

"No, it was my fault really. I should have checked the shuttle."

[papillonmagique]

"... What had happened?"

[electricyousei]

"I was told to have fun at the wedding. Someone put explosives in their shuttle they were going to their honeymoon in."

[papillonmagique]

"You couldn't have known it was going to happen, and thus wouldn't have felt the need to check, especially if you were told to go have fun. Things like that do not typically happen at a wedding."

[electricyousei]

"Still, I should have checked. It would have taken Omoikane two or three hours at most."
