Summary: We have a pool now!  Summer fun for everyone!
Warnings: Probably none.

[It's summer, and what would summer be without a pool?  Well, thankfully for the good citizens and Visitors of Hinoto-Ri, the public pool is finally open for business!  With three different pools, a snack bar, and plenty of space on the grass for playing frisbee or just laying out to get some sun, there's plenty of summertime fun for everyone!  There are also a number of pool toys to use, ranging from basketball hoops and plastic balls, water noodles, boogie boards, and just about anything else you can think of.]

KIDDIE POOL

[This one is a small wading pool with one of those mushroom-shaped things in the middle. Great for little kids or people who just want to get their feet wet a little.]

MEDIUM POOL

[all_wound_up]

[This pool ranges from two and a half feet deep at the shallow end to six feet deep at the deep end. There are also two water slides at the deep end of the pool for visitors' enjoyment.]

ADULT POOL

[all_wound_up]

[The deepest pool is five feet at the shallow end and twelve feet at the deep end. There's a diving board and a high dive platform further up.]

SNACK BAR

[all_wound_up]

[Need some refreshments? The snack bar is open during all the same hours as the pool, serving up soda, pizza, sandwiches, and all manner of snack foods. There are picnic tables set up for people to eat and relax at.]

LAWN

[There's plenty of room out on the grass for setting up towels or chairs to do some sunbathing.]

[Nano is hanging out in the shallow end of the pool, clad in a simple white swimsuit as she splashes around, enjoying the nice cool water. Apparently despite her robotic body, she's still able to at least hang out in waist-deep water. Thank goodness that key doesn't rust, either.]

Ah, the water feels so good!

[Fumi can be found sitting on a beach chair out on the lawn with a small umbrella set up behind her to provide a bit of shade. She's wearing sunglasses and a black bikini with her JP's coat loosely draped around her, and she's got her laptop set up as she types away, ignoring most of what's going on around her. All work and no play, apparently.]

[DeDeDe can be found floating on his back in the shallow end of the adult pool, wearing a ridiculous and oversized pair of Hawaiian print swimming trunks as he relaxes. He is a penguin, after all, and penguins do enjoy a nice cool bath. Besides, it's actually nice to get away from the club once in a while.]

The aroma of pizza draws this guy in. He ends up grabbing a slice and some soda along with it and sits down at the picnic table, munching away at it and watching everyone have fun.

He may join in later but at the moment, well, you see it.

... You see a man who can never be separated from his pizza, no matter where he is.

[Earlier in the day, Hizumi manages to goad a group of citizens into a game of water basketball, and judging by the fervor there's more riding on the outcome than just a matter of pride.

He won't be available to chat during the game itself for obvious reasons, but it's quite a heated match, and likely to draw all kinds of attention even as Hizumi proceeds to carry his team to an overwhelming victory. Once the match is over, he's practically jumping for joy (...as much as one can in the water, anyway).]

Yessss! Free yakiniku-!

[Ruri sits under an umbrella she set up under a tree, tapping away at a holographic keyboard to a screen floating in the air in front of her as she sits on a towel, occasionally looking to see if the sun is low enough in the sky to try the water out.]

"May I sit here and pretend to socialize?"

Judas has a tiny smattering of food on his plate, and keeps darting his gaze around the pool area like he's afraid his roommate's gonna come out of nowhere and lecture him about being friendly.

Which she might.

[And after swimming around said pool for a while, Zoe will eventually burst out of the water and hoist herself up to sit on the edge of the pool, wearing this bikini and kicking her feet in the water slightly. She's taking a break before she goes back to swim a few more laps.]

[Judas is sitting on the side of the pool dangling his feet into the water. He didn't really want to be here, but Zoe.

He has a feeling he's going to be saying 'but Zoe' a lot.

Bother? Push into pool? (He's a skinny dude you could probably do it-)]

Ruri nods over to the other woman, putting some sunscreen on herself.

"Do you need any before you go back in the water?"

Ruri sits on the edge of the pool under a bit of shade watching the other girl zip into the water and tilts her head slightly.

"Is that fun?"

"It's tons of fun! C'mon, come try it!"

Sitting there like that just looks boring.

Zoe glances over at the other girl, before she nods back at her.

"Oh, yes, I think I do. I'm hoping to work up a tan, but I seem more likely to burn again."

Ruri looks up at the sky and shakes her head a bit.

"Maybe in a bit. I'm not really wet yet and trying to finish a few computer projects."

"Ah, I've never been able to do that. I just burn. Still here."

She offers the bottle.

"Booo. Who works on computers at the pool?"

Atsuro. Naoya probably. That lady in the black bikini over there. Uh.

"I think I almost did it once, but then I went pale again. But I suppose tanned skin might look a bit odd with white hair."

She sighs quietly, before taking the bottle.

"Thank you very much, I appreciate it."

"There's that lady over there."

Ruri waves her hands as her computer vanishes and points.
