Summary: We have a pool now!  Summer fun for everyone!
Warnings: Probably none.

[It's summer, and what would summer be without a pool?  Well, thankfully for the good citizens and Visitors of Hinoto-Ri, the public pool is finally open for business!  With three different pools, a snack bar, and plenty of space on the grass for playing frisbee or just laying out to get some sun, there's plenty of summertime fun for everyone!  There are also a number of pool toys to use, ranging from basketball hoops and plastic balls, water noodles, boogie boards, and just about anything else you can think of.]

[Hizumi actually looks a bit surprised at first, but he quickly replaces it with a grin.]

Hey, you actually made it after all!

[When Miyako see Hizumi, she blinks before frowning.]

It's either coming or ignore your "plight".

[He waves a hand.]

Turns out, you came way too late. We filled out the teams almost immediately.

It's too bad-- if you'd come and joined my side, you'd be getting free yakiniku tonight, too!

[She give him an incredulous look.]

You called me just to play a game for yakiniku.

[Is she getting that right...]

[Well now he looks mildly offended!]

Those are pretty high stakes! Yakiniku isn't cheap, especially if you go to the right restaurant!

[Hmph.]

You'll have to try again next time, or buy your own yakiniku.

Well, for tonight at least I don't have to worry about it. My team easily crushed the opponent!

[He even pumps his fist in the air in his glee.]

Congratulations, Mizushiro.

[No, she doesn't want yakiniku as well. Nope.]

So now you're relaxing until then? [Since this is the deeper part of the adult's pool.]

[You totally do, don't you.]

Yep! We're meeting again in the evening, so until then I can just do what I want.

[He's got their numbers and confirmed them, so there's basically no way he'll let them escape even if they try.]

Such as talking to someone in the pool.

[Miyako starts making her way over to the poolside, in case anyone is diving down from the top.]

Is there something wrong with that? Going to the pool is a social event - that's part of the fun!

[And he's just trailing behind her.]

There's nothing wrong. Of all people, you decided to talk to me.

[She seemed a little amused by it. Now that they're at the edge, and near the ladder to climb out, she glance back at him.]

Well, you're the one who decided to come after I called.

[He pauses along with her, scooting right up to the wall so he can hook an arm into the gutter.]

I was a little curious. Of all people, you decided to call me.

[Though, when he mentioned yakiniku earlier, she have a vague idea why. Only vague.

Miyako starts to climb out of the pool, and ignoring some looks she's receiving. Whatever you might say about her personality, she have a pretty good figure. yasuda...]

Well, you like yakiniku too, so I figured it would be a good motivator to get you in the game. But then, it turns out more people like it than I thought, so the teams filled up quickly.

[Idly looking away while she climbs out of the pool. Apparently even Hizumi can be respectful sometimes.]

You aren't planning to leave already, are you?

Which I was unaware of until you recently told me.

[If she had known, Miyako may quicken her pace.

Now that she's out of the pool, she turns and look down at him.]

I'm not leaving any time soon, Mizushiro.

I didn't think you would come all the way just for yakiniku, but I thought you might stay for it.

[That had probably been a miscalculation, however.]

But that's good! Are you just switching pools, then?

Yakiniku won't be my sole reason, but I may consider it.

[She's been meaning to go for a swim, but never did until now.]

I'm going for another dive. [Yeah, at the highest platform.]

[bondsofsuffering]

Ooh-- Then I'll stay and watch!

[And he sends her off with a wave.]

[And so Miyako went back to the diving platform for another dive. Her form is, of course, pretty much perfect.

[It's accompanied with a one-man applause from Hizumi. It seems getting her to come wasn't a waste after all...!]
