Science Rules! The Science and Knowledge Expo Kicks into Full Force!
▼ Consider the Following......
Where: The entire city
When: June 8th-15th
Summary: Science and Knowledge Exop in the Leo Ward.
Warnings: That depends who is there. Remember to mark your titles clearly if any warnings need to be issued!
▼ You know what rules?
A science showcase, of course! What better way spark the curiosity of the young and old by showing off the scientific achievements of the community. You have your things for the kids, your potato batteries and baking soda volcanoes and what-have-you, you have your higher-brow showcases of what the Department of Wands has been working on, your informative panels delving into biology, physics, chemistry and astronomy. There's even free food, including some molecular gastronomy creations for the...adventurous. There are even topics your average Visitor wouldn't think fell under the realms of science.
Such as? Why, like how Personas work (with explanations that aren't just "It's Magic") or discussions about demons, where they might come from, how they're different and similar to humans, how they use magic, and so on.
What kind of things will you and your friends discover? Perhaps you or someone you know is setting up an exhibit?
Regardless, enjoy the science fair and have fun!
[OOC: You are allowed to start a thread if you want your character to have a booth / hold a topic in a private room, or just do threads where you go around visiting. Projects and seminars are varied! Share your knowledge! Enjoy the science! Eat some really strange food! Try not to mix too much baking soda with vinegar!]

She trails off, as if not really certain what she's saying anymore.
"Anyway, what's this Amala Universe you're talking about?"
no subject
"From what I learned, the Amala Universe is... pretty much the container of the multiverse. It's the universe that contains all the other universes, or worlds, or however you wanna call it. Like stars, universes are born, live and die in it."
no subject
At Shura's further explanation, Phantom Girl's expression transitions to one of surprise.
"The birthplace of universes... That's impressive. Are you sure all universes are created in there? Did this weird place spin out of the Amala Universe? Or maybe it's just a nexus for a certain type of universe - and there are other spawning grounds for others."
no subject
Shura nods. "That's what a certain Lucifer told me, and, well, I haven't seen anything contradicting his version of things yet. So yes, according to what I learned from him, this place, the whole visible universe from it, everything about it is contained within the Amala Universe, and so is my world, and your world, and everybody's worlds. I can't tell you how many dimensions it has, though, I can only see 3."

Phantom Girl considers the question for a few moments.
"I guess the best way to put it is that they'd like to think they're gods. They're really just a sort of... extradimensional species with a superiority complex, though. I'll give them credit where credit's due - having one on your side is an ace in the hole, but they're not invulnerable, either.
"Anyway... I don't know who Lucifer is, but it does seem like one of those theories that can't really be disproven. ...Almost like believing in a creator god, except this is more of an... impersonal thing."
no subject
"Lucifer is... ... I think the best way to put it is that he's God's main adversary. The mastermind behind the rebellion. He was God's right hand man for a long time, so I'm pretty sure he know how the whole thing about the universes work, within the limits of perception we have." She shrugs. "I don't think it clashes with science much... some scientists think multiple universes exist, I mean."
no subject
She doesn't seem too terribly embarrassed, though, and she gives a small shrug.
"Still, the mastermind of your universe isn't necessarily the mastermind of mine. If we agree with the common idea of the multiverse - that it's infinite and impossible to quantify - it does follow that in the natural fluctuation of events, there's an infinite number of universes where an omniscient creator does not exist. Just like there's an infinite number of universes where one does."
