The Search for the Newcomers, November 2012 Edition.
Who: Open to Everyone, but only Newly Accepted Characters can start threads.
Where: All around the city, anywhere from the 5th to the 20th.
Summary: Newcomers arrive and by now the Government is more ready and sends everyone out to go people hunting.
Warnings: ARRIVALS. Also assume the first thread is the ones who tell you about the city, and the other tags for the character can be talking with others in the city and learning more about it.
[FOR THOSE IN THE CITY:]
They were getting much better at this, it was for certain.
The COMPS had been upgraded with a new program, HORUS which allowed them to spot abnormalities; if something or someone showed up suddenly in a city that was constantly scanned, then there was a high probability it was a newcomer. There was also a sort of left energy from the travel; the Wise Men called it leftover Magatama Residue, where the magical energy used to pull them to this world and keep the String intact was still faintly present around them. It wouldn't last more than a few minutes, however, and due to the fact they could appear in most parts of the city, it made finding the newcomers was both easy yet frustratingly difficult. As the blips appear on your radar function, they were nice enough to calculate for you the best transport and destination routes to take to get there.
Now it was just left up to chance and make sure you got there fast enough that you were still able to find them relatively easily. For the most part, the fact they stuck out would most certainly help...
[FOR THOSE WHO JUST ARRIVED:]
You're not in your homeworld anymore. That much is evident. So how do you feel? Happy? Sad? Troubled? A little of all three? No matter what, the memories of a butterfly man named Philemon are fading like a dream; you'll remember the details, but perhaps not everything he has said.
There is one word that stays with you, however.
Persona.
So...here to save the city, huh? First you'll need to find out more information. And who knows, maybe a familiar face or two...
[OOC: As stated above, only new characters can start a thread, but feel free to jump in any of them. characters arrive with their clothing and whatever items they had on them the moment they were taken; the remaining items will be later found in their apartments.]

Now, he wasn't even sure where he was. The Darkness couldn't have reached Port Royal, could it? If it did, would he not be awakening at Traverse Town again? Or perhaps it all happened so fast...
He shook his head with a scoff. No, that couldn't have happened. The Darkness wouldn't look like this. Would it? No, it didn't. Besides, last he checked, there was no butterfly man named Philemon and that... Persona word. He sighed heavily. Just what was he getting into now?

She had been in the middle of doing that when the unique creature first caught her eye, followed seconds after by the man standing beside it. The coat was in bad shape and the hair was off, but as she moved to walk past the redhead, she tured to take in the front. The face the man bore and those eyes of his assured her she was right in the matter of the man's identity.
"....Genesis?"

It was just a bit mind blowing to see that Sephiroth was a woman. How? When?
"Sephiroth," Genesis greeted, then he tilted his head. He was familiar with other world, but... different realities? It wasn't something he encountered quite yet. "Was I a woman in your world too?"
no subject
"You've always been male, Genesis... and what do you mean my world? We're from the same place."
You've got the woman both thoroughly confused and concerned now, Genesis, good work.
no subject
"Indeed, we are from Gaia," Genesis agreed. "But not the same Gaia. There are infinite worlds out there and, it looks like, alternative worlds as well. I only asked because on my world, you are quite male. Though I see your distaste of shirts remains the same."
Despite the smirking, Genesis was still rather blown away by this. Never would he have ever thought to meet a different version of Sephiroth, one who was female. But given the outfit and sword, Genesis ventured a guess that other than the different gender, this Sephiroth would be the same as his own. Though he would never know what other differences there could be until he found out, but he was willing to bet there wouldn't too much. Not if she was in SOLDIER and all.
no subject
"Might I ask just what has happened to you?" The ragged look of the coat of which Genesis was so attached to was a bit concerning, even if this wasn't the redhead she had considered one of her best friends. Also she had noted the hair and the creature which apparently was friends with him, surely there was a story behind it all to be told.

Genesis did take a brief look at himself before shrugging lightly. He supposed there was no avoiding it with the way his coat looked. "Many things. Years of battles won and lost, mostly. Am I with SOLDIER in your world?"

Instead, he shrugged. "Oh? Well, I suppose that makes sense. They don't want to be quick in labeling a deserter quite yet. Still, a bit of a surprise for ShinRa to even go that far."
no subject
Instead of making much fuss over the fact he left or even trying to berate him for it, she instead turned her ire toward the company that Genesis had abandoned. "Yes, I imagine they wanted to try and pull you back into their grasp before they do any did anything too drastic which might rob them of such a weapon."
no subject
"Being to kind and simply calling me missing will not bring me back," Genesis snorted softly, a bit of contempt in his voice.

But in the end, all he could say was, "I know."
With a soft pet to Ea's head, he decided now would be the time to leave. This place needed exploring, anyway.
