It begins. A strange aura spreads out over Hinoto-Ri, stealing into the hearts, minds, and mouths of every denizen of the city, changing them - embiggening their souls with the power of TRUTHINESS.

For one week, Hinoto-Ri becomes a city where no lies can exist. Who is responsible for this? Will their dedication to ABSOLUTE TRUTHINESS bring them victory...or defeat?

"Ooo. Even though Desco is the Future Final Boss, she's still not good at long plots!"

There's a slight pause as Desco adjusts Usatako so that it's floating parallel to the ground and she can use it as a lounging chair.

"Desco's area of expertise is gratuitous violence and being adorable!"

"I'm not so sure that you're going to fool anyone into thinking you're harmless, though. You look like you crawled out of some Lovecraft book."

... Though she still is kind of cute.

[tyrantball]

"Desco has never even thought of that! As long as they understand she is adorable she doesn't care about the rest!"

[meaningdies]

"It's not a look a lot of people would find cute, unfortunately."

"Then those people are stupid and wrong."

"It's part of people fearing the unknown. ... Though I think it's stupid, too."

Desco grins.

"Desco is glad to see you're as smart as you look!"

"Obviously. I've had thousands of years to figure out how the world works."

Desco blinks.

"Oh! Are you a demon too?"

[meaningdies]

"No, but every time I die I reincarnate into a new body with all of my memories."

... What the hell.

[tyrantball]

Desco blinks a few times, clearly impressed.

"Oh! You must have a lot of mana power to do serial reincarnations! After the first ten it gets super expensive."

[meaningdies]

"Not really. I'm cursed. And I have to wait years until I can be functional again, because it's not like you can plot so well as a baby."

Motor skills are helpful, for one.

Desco considers this.

"Oh, it's the other kind of reincarnation."

A slight pause as she sits up on Usatako and stares at Naoya.

"If Desco ever encounters whatever cursed you, Mister, she will make sure to tear it to shreds for violating the proper function of the afterlife!"

[meaningdies]

"Well, it was God who cursed me, so."

... Then again he has no idea what this... girl?... is capable of.

[tyrantball]

"Oh! Well, Desco was planning on destroying him eventually anyway! Stupid God, thinking he's so great with his stupid doomsday weapon..."

"Doomsday weapon?"

[tyrantball]

Nod nod.

"Fear the Great! It activates on any planet with enough built-up malice and destroys it with endless monsters!"

She draws herself up, looking very proud of herself.

"Desco helped destroy it and save the Earth, which makes her amazing and stronger than God!"

[meaningdies]

"... That's an... interesting idea. Though that sounds more like a demonic plan than a divine one."

[tyrantball]

"Demons need humans! Why would we wanna wipe them out?"

[meaningdies]

"For the same reason humans try to stamp out ants in their house? They view humans as being on their territory... though that's not to say that's the majority opinion. Our worlds are likely different, though."

And he can't say that there aren't angels who feel the same way.

[tyrantball]

"Demons don't want to go to Earth, though!"

Slight pause.

"...well, Desco does, but she was born there and she has to conquer it for Big Sis anyway. Besides, it's filled with pointless wars and bad air!"

"Like I said - different worlds. There's also the fact that there's a barrier between the human and the demon world - normally, at least."

Not so much anymore...

"That sounds dumb. Your world must be a very stupid place."

She extends one of her tentacles to pat Naoya's shoulder in a comforting fashion.

"Don't worry! You can come to Desco's world and spend time grinding until you hit level 9999! Then you go beat up God too!"

"I would if I could. But the only being with the power to challenge God is the King of Bel, and he's decided to help Him."

The look of distaste on his face is obvious.
