[This is a hard effect to gauge, when you spend little of your day talking to anyone. Though Nik knows something is up once he gets to work and answers some questions from his employees and customers a little too honestly. Weird.

He goes about his business as usual, though, being ever quieter than normal... not that that's easy to tell. You might find him out for a jog, having a drink at a nice bar, or even out during the 13th hour.]

[Nik's been busying himself in the store when Nano stops him. However, given the circumstances, that's a difficult question to answer. He sure felt fine, but...]

People have been saying things they don't mean to say.

Ah, so you have noticed as well. I also seem to be affected. Are you? [He's looking unusually uncomfortable, even if it is subtle. But most of Nik's emotions are.]

[She nods, frowning a little.]

I even told Midori-san about my...!

[And then she quickly clamps her hands over her mouth, mumbling the next few words. It seems she's at least learned to do this much.]

[Nik puts his hands up in a "stop" gesture.] I wonder, maybe we all shouldn't talk at all until this passes.

I'd like to find whatever is causing this, but... it's so hard to tell what it is. Any number of things in this insane city could cause something like this. And it may last a day or a week.

It's probably demons, don't you think?

Most certainly. Not that I have any idea which ones. [He huffs]

I wonder if it will keep happening until we find them and beat them.

I hope not. That gets monotonous after awhile, I admit. But that's usually how things go, isn't it?
