It begins. A strange aura spreads out over Hinoto-Ri, stealing into the hearts, minds, and mouths of every denizen of the city, changing them - embiggening their souls with the power of TRUTHINESS.

Ratsel shakes his head and goes about cleaning the grill on his cart, adjusting his goggles slightly.

"Doesn't that lead to people not buying the news anymore?"

Erk doesn't actually know how TV operates. He will, however, wander over in the direction of the cart, because this is actually vaguely interesting conversation. Also he's hungry now.

"Most people don't think to question things. As long as they are warm and there is food in their belly why should they care if the government has agendas that it lies about?"

Elzam shrugs and puts some chicken in an odd red sauce on the girdle.

"I suppose that's nothing new. We don't even have this sort of organized news where I come from, and people only really care about what their rulers do when it sends armies trampling across their fields."

Erk cocks his head as he watches the chicken cook. "Are you open at the moment?"

"I am open. I'm working on some Korean spicy chicken if you'd like some or there are many other things."

He grins and nods a bit.

"That's the sad part of history, its under the control of people with agendas, that alone has killed many good men and women."

"Trust me, I know. I'm still not sure how to handle some of the agendas I've wound up stepping on in the past."

Spicy chicken sounds good. Erk isn't particularly devoted to spicy food, but he's not against it. "That does sound good, but... what does Korean mean?" It takes him a moment to realize he's asked his question aloud, and then he looks embarrassed. "Ah, if you'll pardon my ignorance. That was intended to be inner monologue."
