It begins. A strange aura spreads out over Hinoto-Ri, stealing into the hearts, minds, and mouths of every denizen of the city, changing them - embiggening their souls with the power of TRUTHINESS.

It's true. I have so many questions that I'm having a difficult time deciding which ones to ask first.

The knowledge of your identity and the nature of your curse alone already answers quite a few of the things I'd been wondering about, to be honest. But I suppose it would be interesting to know what exactly your plan was in your own world, especially as concerns the demon summoning program.

My plan? Get Kazuya into the Lockdown and give him a push to fight in the War of Bel. He was the only human qualified, after all. The demon summoning program needed to be distributed amongst the populace, hence my employment with the Shomonkai. The barrier between the worlds was already weak - it had to be broken down further for the War to come to completion.

There were only seven days allowed in the Lockdown according to the government's plans - and the plans of the angels. Past that... well. Either the angels would take control and strip humans of their free will, or the government would use the UEM field and attempt to fry all the demons - which wouldn't work at all.

That's quite elaborate. I have to say, I'm impressed. So how did it turn out?

... Not as I'd hoped. Kazuya decided to go along with God's plan instead.

Hm. Reminds me of Yamato's story. It's frustrating to know that a single decision made by a single person can change the world so drastically in one direction or another, despite the efforts of everyone else supporting a given viewpoint.

That's always the case... it's just sometimes that change is more visible.

Well, I would have been fine in either case, I'm sure.

It's not very fine for me. It's the one outcome I can't do anything with. And now he knows - which makes it easier for them to manipulate him. And it makes it harder for me, as I now have to avoid angels as well as him.

Hmm. So would you say having been brought here is an improvement, or would you rather return to your own world to try to tip the balance of things in your favor again?

I'm fine with being here for now. I need time to come up with another solution.

I suppose this is a rather convenient situation for that purpose, assuming we retain our memories of having been here upon our return.

We might. We might not. I doubt very much that Philemon is able to take memories from me, though. If he could... well. We'd have to have a very long talk about that.

Assuming you're able to find him. He's annoyingly elusive. But then again, I suppose self-described patrons of humanity's interest generally are.

Yes. And we've obviously got his attention... I wonder why he's remained so elusive? Possibly some sort of 'hands off' policy, but he's clearly already interfered.

True. There must be some way to get more information out of the people in the Velvet Room. They seem to be the most likely sources of information.
