The program also contained a function to boost the resistance of people - normally a single attack from a demon would fell someone."

He crossed his arms and growled slightly. "Furthermore, humanity needed to show God that they were willing to break away from Him."

"It can't have been an easy choice to make, though." His voice is softer, almost apologetic rather than accusatory.
