[Agatha is blaming the strange dream on a side effect of lack of sleep and suddenly being shoved through Tweedle's ridiculous door. Right now the question is where that door has taken her. And what happened to the other three people who fell through it with her. Tweedle could be lost in time and space forever and she wouldn't care, but Violetta and Krosp she was a little concerned about. Not to mention the state of things in Mechanicsburg. But there wasn't much she could do about that now. First things first though, she needed a weapon....

So people who happen to be near some of the darkened warehouses may hear strange sounds coming from one of the alleyways. Clanking metal, odd whirring noises, crashing sounds. Those that dare to venture closer will find a woman holding what appears to be some sort of gun made from various bits of scrapped machinery. Her back is to the mouth of the alley, so she hasn't noticed anyone yet. She twists a small dial on the side of the gun and fire it at the trash dumpster. The alley is bathed in a bright flash of light, and when it fades the dumpster is nowhere to be found. Agatha nods in satisfaction.]

Could use some work, but it'll do for now.

I was just hoping you could maybe direct me to somewhere I could spend the night.

"Oh, in that case Desco can take you to the seat of her minions in the corrupternment and find out where your new apartment is!"

Desco assumes she has minions. The truth is more nebulous. Anyway.

"Follow Desco!"

And with that, she flies on out of the alley, making sure not to go higher than Agatha's head.

[She follows Desco, careful not to lose sight of her.]

So just how big is this city, anyway?

"Desco is pretty sure it's a few miles long!"

Hm, pretty big then. Hey, I heard a rumor that monsters roamed the streets every night. All during a time called the thirteenth hour.

[It never hurts to get a second opinion.]

Is there any truth to that?

[tyrantball]

"Yes! Desco goes out every night and beats them up for fun!"

Slight pause for dramatic effect.

"Also, there are robots! Tasty, tasty robots!"

[She raises an eyebrow. Desco has an interesting idea of fun.]

Sounds like a good time....

[Tasty robots? What does that mean?]

Robots..?

[The word they use in her world is 'clank.']

That just confuses Desco.

"You can build a death ray out of garbage but you don't know what a robot is?"

Maybe you could fill me in?

"Just like Desco is made out of demon DNA and adorable, robots are made out of metal and electricity! Desco really likes eating them because the electricity makes her throats tingle."

Slight pause.

"Oh! But Desco doesn't eat robots that show up outside the 13th Hour! It's rude, and one of them is her sister. Not her Big Sister, just her sister."

[Agatha laughs.]

Oh! You mean clanks. I guess this world has a different name for them. I do know what those are. I build them a lot actually.

[Also, a construct that eats clanks? That's clever. Agatha is increasingly impressed with Desco's creator.]

[tyrantball]

"Ooo! What do they do?"

[ding_bots_are_done]

Whatever they're designed to do.

[More or less. She has had at least one minor rebellion.]

I'll tell you what though, the next time I build one, I'll show it to you.

"Ah! Desco looks forward to it!"

Nodding.

"Desco takes a keen interest in the combat potential of her subjects!"

Oh? Well maybe I'll give this one a little extra kick. Just for you.

"Yaaay!"

Slight pause.

"Also we're here!"

With that, Desco indicates the building they are currently in front of.

[Agatha gazes up at the building.]

So is this some kind of administrative building?

[Sort of... low key and official looking. She's used to administrative offices designed to strike fear into your heart. Or... coffee houses that hide shadow governments.]

[tyrantball]

Nod nod.

"Uh huh! This is where Desco's minions toil night and day, doing all the boring parts of ruling her city!"

Impressive! And it frees you up from doing all the boring paperwork it takes to run a city.

[Still not... entirely taking Desco seriously. But Agatha does think that she's completely adorable.]

Desco grins.

"Oh! Tell Desco your name!"
