[Agatha is blaming the strange dream on a side effect of lack of sleep and suddenly being shoved through Tweedle's ridiculous door. Right now the question is where that door has taken her. And what happened to the other three people who fell through it with her. Tweedle could be lost in time and space forever and she wouldn't care, but Violetta and Krosp she was a little concerned about. Not to mention the state of things in Mechanicsburg. But there wasn't much she could do about that now. First things first though, she needed a weapon....

So people who happen to be near some of the darkened warehouses may hear strange sounds coming from one of the alleyways. Clanking metal, odd whirring noises, crashing sounds. Those that dare to venture closer will find a woman holding what appears to be some sort of gun made from various bits of scrapped machinery. Her back is to the mouth of the alley, so she hasn't noticed anyone yet. She twists a small dial on the side of the gun and fire it at the trash dumpster. The alley is bathed in a bright flash of light, and when it fades the dumpster is nowhere to be found. Agatha nods in satisfaction.]

Could use some work, but it'll do for now.

"No, but he was close to people that were close to me. It was more a matter of an idiot went out stupidly and hurt friends. I think I was the only one who knew his real name instead of the one he gave people but that was it, and that was because I read the crew logs."

Still.... I am sorry to hear that he died. I'm guessing revivification wasn't possible?

[For a moment, she wonders how she would feel if Othar died. She didn't exactly like him, but it would still be just a little sad. Then again, with the number of times he's been hurled out of airships, she's not entirely sure how anyone would actually do him in anyway.]

"I've actually never heard of a process called revivification. Perhaps it is something your world has uncovered that mine has not."

Maybe you have a different name for it? It's the process of restoring life to the deceased.

[It's common enough in Agatha's world for laws to have been written regarding the use and abuse of the process.]

She shakes her head.

"No, we don't have that technology. There are too many issues involving the breakdown of brain material."

Yeah, that can be a problem. If you aren't careful, it can cause severe memory loss.

"If you have the schematics to set something like that up perhaps we could create a lab for it on the Nadesico. It'd be too late for home, but I could see uses for it here."

Well.... I've got a good grasp of the theories and techniques involved, but to be honest I've only ever participated in a single revivification. And it wasn't under normal circumstances.

"Most of my work is in theory. At least most of the work I can talk about in pleasant company."

She shrugs a bit.

It's been a while since I've had the luxury of working in theory. Lately I've had to put ideas into practice almost as soon as they occur to me.

"When I was 12 I had to do that a lot. The principles of teleportation using time travel as a means were exceptionally irritating to figure the bases of."

Twelve? Wow, you started early. My life was mostly normal until last March.

"I've been doing this since I was five actually. I've never had what people call a normal life, so I can't really compare it."

She shrugs a bit.

My uncle sacrificed a lot to make sure I did. I guess I was pretty lucky.

"We all are made up by our experiences, perhaps your uncle did that to ground you where as I was raised in a lab. Possibly why you have a more hands on approach than theory too."

[Now it's her turn to shrug.]

And it was what it was. It's not as if the past can be changed. And there's entirely too much present to deal with anyway.

"Well, that's not ENTIRELY true as I know the theory behind time travel. Still its grossly dangerous and horribly unpredictable so its not worth it."

Yeah, it sounds really troublesome. I have enough problems now without hopping around through time looking for more.

[It's funny because immediately after her canon point she's about to be hurtled two years into the future.]

"That's a very good attitude to have towards it all."

She nods a bit.

"My crew was all insane, it helps one get perspective if everyone around you is mad."

She nods.

That I can definitely sympathize with.

[Her friends are sparks, minions, constructs, smoke knights, and lost princesses. And she wouldn't call a single one of them normal. Somewhere Von Zinzer is insulted. ]

"Still, you take your friends where you can get them. Sane or not."

[She blinks in surprise for a second, then smiles.]

That's true. Some of my closest friendships were made in the strangest ways.

"Most of my friends came from rather odd circumstances too."

She nods a bit.
