Girls' Night Sleepover

What: Girls' Night!  A big girls only sleepover party.
Where: Amagi Inn, Scorpio District
When: The night of Saturday, November 9th
Warnings: Hopefully none!

[Things have been pretty busy in the city lately, and Nano thinks it's high time she and her best girl friends got together for another night of fun at the Amagi Inn.  And since she's in charge of the place and November isn't exactly the busy season, she's got the whole place reserved for a big sleepover party on Saturday night.  It's a girls' only get together, but open to quite literally anyone and everyone she's ever talked to before.  She'll be in the main hall to greet people as they come in, and there's snacks and refreshments set up along with a huge assortment of movies to watch on the big screen TV in the lobby.  Everyone is free to pick and choose whatever rooms they want to stay in, and of course the hot springs are open to everyone.  It's still cold and snowing outside, but the water is nice and hot as always for anyone who wants to take an outdoor bath.]

Hot Springs!

[It's cold outside, but the baths are just as toasty hot as always. And they're totally open for anyone who wants to lie back and relax.]

After a while of the party, Ruri needed more than anything a break from the noise that comes from a party so she went out to the bath, undressed and went to enjoy the snow for a bit in the hot water.

[Even though she's the one who threw the party and invited everyone, Nano is also generally the sort to need some space and quiet after enough activity. So eventually, she shows up in the baths too, towel wrapped around her midsection.]

Oh, hello, Ruri-san! Are you enjoying yourself?

"Hrm? Oh, yes, thank you for having me. Just I needed a break from the noise for a bit."

I know what you mean. I'm glad everyone is having a good time, though.

[Nano smiles, walking up to the edge of the bath and slowly sliding in, making sure to mind her key on the way so it doesn't catch.]

Ruri leans against the edge of the bath, still mostly in the water.

"That and there is something to be said for seeing the snow from a bath. I can't really simulate that on the Nadesico."

Yes... it's very beautiful.

[Nano smiles, a faint blush forming on her cheeks as she looks up into the night sky.]

Ruri nods and smiles.

"I admit I do sometimes miss being up there, but its not so bad here."

What's it like to fly through space, Ruri-san?

"The phase transposition drive charges better, and there aren't as many issues due to atmosphere to compensate for, but you'd really have to ask Minato-san for the logistics. But watching it, its just watching the stars into infinity."

[Nano's eyes sort of glaze over for most of that since it's a lot of words she doesn't understand, but she definitely got that last part. Smiling back at Ruri, she nods happily.]

It sounds very beautiful.

"It is. And it was a horrible shame that so often we had to ruin the view with wreckage."

She shakes her head a bit.

[Oh. Nano's not really sure what to say about that, so she just frowns and puts a hand on Ruri's shoulder.]

Hot springs! Truly one of life's great luxuries. Kotoha is just relaxing, her head resting against Tomoe's side. The Samurott is clearly enjoying herself as well.

[Nano's already in the bath, and she paddles over to where Kotoha is sitting with a big happy smile on her face. Yes, she is totally swimming and splashing around in the hot spring like a five year old.]

Kotoha-san! Are you having fun?

Kotoha nods in response, echoed by a deep rumble from Tomoe.

"This feels great. Tomoe likes it too!"

[Nano laughs, reaching over to gently pat Tomoe's side.]

I'm glad! Make sure not to move around too much, Tomoe-san, or all the water will splash out of the springs!

Kotoha waves one hand bonelessly.

"No worries, no worries, she knows Scald! Instant refill, right there."

Oh! That's very convenient.

"Yup. Sometimes I really wonder how they managed to build this city without Pokemon helping them."

Is that how cities are built where you're from?

"It's how civilization is built. The idea that a city this size could be built just by humans alone...if I couldn't see it myself I would never have believed it."

Well, they use machines too...

"Oh, we've got those too...in fact, I'm actually a Heavy Machinery Pro! Got the badge and everything. But there's tons of stuff that can't be done without Pokemon...like, they don't even have any Grass-types to tend to the greenhouses in the apartments."

But all you have to do to care for plants is make sure they get enough water and sunlight.
