Pandemonium
☢
Who: Everyone [Open]
Where: The Entire City | 18th from 1am to 11pm
Summary: Complete and utter chaos
Warnings: Despair
Music: Break my Soul
Chaos.
There was no other way to describe the mood in the city, the streets filled with civilians attempting to huddle to the closest safe havens. The demons who had walked a fragile alliance with humans, previously content to stay underground due to the fact that they knew they would be pushed back, suddenly filled the streets - attacking on sight when they saw humans showing themselves to be weak. The darker monsters among them relished in this new opportunity, ignoring humanity's pleas and destroying what little remained of the city's peaceful sanity.
Everywhere, the city was a tumultuous mixture of those still stuck in their childish forms, with some back to their older selves trying to fix what they could and reestablish electrical power and barriers. Some demons, siding with humanity despite everything, aided them by keeping the others at bay. Personas were out in full force, swarming the skies and pushing back invaders. But it simply wasn't enough.
Without a network and all of the news outlets completely silent, everyone was left to fend for themselves... and it wasn't pretty.
The Visitors had to act as fast as they could, still in their child forms or not. There was so much to do, and without any directives. No intel sent to their heads explaining the situation. The Wise Men facility was silent. No one seemed to be answering...
[OOC - Here is the City Page. Your character can be anywhere and either look for clues, help people out or simply try to defend themselves. Remember, there is no electrical power right now, and most of the areas of the city are dark.
It's up to you to decide what to do. Shall you go save civilians, reestablish power, go to the MAGI headquarters? The choices will affect the game. There is a planning post in the OOC comm, create teams, decide what to do and help save Hinoto-Ri by following this link. Just know that, tonight, someone you might have thought an ally will declare themselves a foe.
Good luck.]

OPEN TO ALL
[Great. Just great. That reporter who turned out not to be a reporter at all? Eh. He could care less. He could care less about those Wise Men, about saving them. What does it matter to him?]
[But then the chaos starts. And he's right smack dab in the middle of it, totally unprepared for the rush of demons that try to attack him. He's got his Persona out, which is currently attacking the demons that are trying to pull him down from the alley wall he's perched on.]
S-stop it!! Go away!! Just let me go!
[Yeah, this is totally the WORSE situation to be in. Give him a hand?]
B.
[But enough of that. Enough of waiting for people to save him. After that whole incident, he banishes his Persona and takes to the shadows. But not as himself. No, he's going to go hide and let this storm pass over.]
[As he rushes through the streets towards the river, you might see him. But Sam Erstwhile no longer looks like Sam Erstwhile, the timid sniveling young man who couldn't hurt a fly. He looks more like the demons attacking the city.]
[He looks like a monster.]
[What do you do? Do you stop him in his tracks, or do you just let him pass by, nothing more than a shadow in your memories?]
[ooc: If you choose B, please fill out his permission post!! Human beings can't stare at his form for too long without bad side effects, and he'll probably be using telepathy if he feels like speaking. The account I'll tag with for B will be
B
"Big bro! Are you alright?"

I'm fine. Don't worry about me.

[To prove his point, his multi-eyed gaze swerves towards an approaching demon - tendrils split off of his body, and before the demon can even turn and run the other way, they've already surrounded his body. He crushes the demon easily, ripping off its wings and basically crushing it into a small ball of...well, demon meat, probably.]
[The eyes on his body move towards her again.]
I can defend myself, Desco.
no subject
"Hide."
She drifts a little closer, her voice filled with urgency.
"Promise Desco you'll hide somewhere safe. If you really need to kill things, do it from ambush, okay? Don't let them touch you, Big Bro."
In a nearly inaudible voice, she whispers one more thing before flying away in search of more demons to take down.
"I don't want to see my family murdered again..."

[He looks her in the eyes when he says that. Part of him is saying it to just make her go away, and part of him...well, part of him means it. He never will let them touch him. He wants to survive. He was made to survive. And he will do so with every breath he takes.]
[And that last thing she says makes him pause...but he shakes his head, or whatever he has or a head. He has no time to think about that. He takes off again, heading towards that sanctuary of sanctuaries, where he knows he'll never be touched: the river.]
A
There is a sharp clean smack as Lucas steps in with his trusty favorite stick and sends one of the closer demons ricocheting into a nearby building.]
...Stop it! There's no reason to do this!
no subject
[Oh, it's that kid he talked to a while ago. Yes, good, he has a savior, no need to waste extra energy on saving himself. He calls down to Lucas from his place on the alley wall, while Mordiggian continues to swipe a few away.]
B-be careful! There are a lot of them!
no subject
[There is a bright flash and any wounds that might have been on Lucas have suddenly vanished, courtesy of the power of healing. The demons are ready to fight back now, though...]
What's happening tonight?! Who can even control these things...?
no subject
[He almost falls over at the bright flash, and...huh. Kid's got some neat abilities on hand.]
Okay, good, you can heal yourself. Good. Um, I-I don't know! It just happened...god, I hope it's over soon, I can't handle this!
no subject
Mm-hmm. As long as I keep healing, it should be OK... I haven't fought in a while, so I have enough power to spare, too.
Do you think there's anything we can do to get them all to stop...?
no subject
[That Cerberus might pose a problem if it reaches the wall. With a shout, he points in the direction of the creature and Mordiggian immediately follows suit, wrapping it in its tentacles in order to do damage.]
God, how many of these things are there??
no subject
Thanks!
...If they don't stop, we should just try and get inside. There must be someplace they're coming from... Or maybe it will be better during the day.
no subject
[He kicks down a climbing demon with his sneaker with a short whimper.]
Besides, some of them are inside the buildings, so I...I don't know where we could hide.
no subject
Um.
...Maybe we could go underground somewhere...
[This would be an excellent plan if either of them had a mole Persona but alas.]
no subject
[A sigh.]
God, I hope this is over soon...
no subject
...Um. Do you think your Persona can hold them off for a moment? I have an idea...
