Chaos.

There was no other way to describe the mood in the city, the streets filled with civilians attempting to huddle to the closest safe havens. The demons who had walked a fragile alliance with humans, previously content to stay underground due to the fact that they knew they would be pushed back, suddenly filled the streets - attacking on sight when they saw humans showing themselves to be weak. The darker monsters among them relished in this new opportunity, ignoring humanity's pleas and destroying what little remained of the city's peaceful sanity.

Everywhere, the city was a tumultuous mixture of those still stuck in their childish forms, with some back to their older selves trying to fix what they could and reestablish electrical power and barriers. Some demons, siding with humanity despite everything, aided them by keeping the others at bay. Personas were out in full force, swarming the skies and pushing back invaders. But it simply wasn't enough.

Without a network and all of the news outlets completely silent, everyone was left to fend for themselves... and it wasn't pretty.

The Visitors had to act as fast as they could, still in their child forms or not. There was so much to do, and without any directives. No intel sent to their heads explaining the situation. The Wise Men facility was silent. No one seemed to be answering...

[OOC - Here is the City Page. Your character can be anywhere and either look for clues, help people out or simply try to defend themselves. Remember, there is no electrical power right now, and most of the areas of the city are dark.

It's up to you to decide what to do. Shall you go save civilians, reestablish power, go to the MAGI headquarters? The choices will affect the game. Just know that, tonight, someone you might have thought an ally will declare themselves a foe.

[Bitty]

Having acknowledged young Kiku as the future Shura, the Jack Frosts who run with her adult self or just watch her go by have assembled to protect her! Led by three Pyro Jacks lighting the way and one Black Frost clearing the way, the Jack Frosts are carrying bitty kimono'd Kiku to a safer district, from Capricorn where the wild demons are moving into more populated districts to Pisces to hopefully get her to safety into her apartment and maybe raid her pantry for candies too.

Still in a kimono, but now back to her adult self, Shura is still among the Frosts, but now that she has checked the Network for news, well, she is not happy. First of all she hates the chaos reminiscent of the Vortex World. Second of all, she hates to be called complacent when no one ever told her what the city wanted aside from bread 'n games. This Tomokazu Tokudome better be hidden well and far away from her, for her contempt for humans just went up another notch. In the end it was again people fucking people over, but not only was he a human attacking humans, he was a human, probably with a Persona, attacking weaker humans to prompt others into action, and that was far too much like the Manikins for Shura to ignore. The Frosts rejoiced and got ready for battle as Shura began the summoning of one of her demons.

"SHIVA!!!"

She was going to find that smug little bastard, murder the everhating shit out of him, and pay a massive bill for covering that rented kimono with his blood.

There's a woman in red fighting an entire pack of strange-looking demons just ahead of Shura. When she hears the shout, she spares a brief instant to glance over at the source, her red eyes widening.

"Shura! I could use some help!"

One of the strange demons leaps at her as she shouts, only to be met with the blade end of the massive sword she's carrying, throwing its two separated halves into the wall of a nearby building. The attack is fast but sloppy, and leaves her open for a crucial second, allowing another one of the demons to dart in and slash at her exposed left arm with a massive tusk.

One could think, on the one hand, that Sarah was human and part of the problem.

But Shura has had sex with that human and though it caused her pain, it had been great and it would be lying for her to say she did not get attached at all.

Without hesitation, she jumps into the fray at Sarah's side, jumping over the half-carcass, diving in to grab that tusk and attempt to break it right off.

The tusk pulls free of the demon's mouth, leaving it bellowing. Sarah takes the opportunity to jerk her left arm free, striking at the demon's eye as she does so. Her talons slide in with a wet splorching sound, and when she pulls her arm out of the thing's skull she has a strange black orb clenched in her scaled hand. As soon as it's removed, the demon melts into a black goo that quickly evaporates.

Sarah nods her thanks and turns to face the rest of the pack.

"Half something too?" Shura shouted as she faced the monsters by Sarah's side. If they were all this easy... but numbers were important. Better hurry.

Normally Sarah would shift her arm back to human, but in this situation she needs the extra strength not holding back will give her.

"My arm's a god. Like these."

It takes only a brief thought, and her God Arc's seal is released, unlocking Predator Mode. One-handed, Sarah lunges forward, allowing the teeth of her Arc to tear into an Ogretail. As the sword swallows the chunk of godflesh, Sarah starts to glow.

Switching to Gun Mode, she rolls out of the way of the counterattack, calling to Shura.

"Distract them! If I can get in position I can wipe them all out at once!"

Distract them? Shura has just the thing, and has Shiva dance threateningly at the monsters as she roars out a powerful War Cry. Dimishing their attack power is just an added bonus to her at this point.

"Sweet!"

Sarah takes advantage of the display to jump to the side - and then, at the peak of her jump, jumping again, bringing the barrel of her gun around.

"Firing!"

From the point of the crossbow-shaped gun roars a massive tongue of fire eighteen feet long, racing through the gathered Ogretails like a giant rocket. The recoil actually pushes Sarah back three feet in mid-air, and she lands with both legs braced, her crimson coat flaring out behind her.

Okay that actually had been pretty damn badass and cool, but now was not the time to feel aroused, dammit. Now was the time to kill, and Shura ran in to finish off any remaining Ogretail, if any, along with Shiva to distract herself.

Once the monsters are all dead, she turns back to Sarah. "You okay?"

Sarah is staring at her left arm, clenching her hand into a fist and watching the spikes on her knuckles move in response.

"...could be better."

Shura closed her eyes for a second, and a green-skinned women with curvy tattoo and a tunic appeared. The women opened her arms, healing Sarah, then disappeared again.

"And now?"

"Thanks."

Sarah flexes her arm, watching the way the rows of spines circling it undulate with the motion.

"Should I hide this?"

Shura shrugged. "I don't think you need to. In this chaos, no one will care." She hits her open palm with her fist. "I'm trying to find the asshole who started this shit. I'm gonna fucking tear his guts open with my teeth and feed him his own intestines."

"...the more complicated the plan, the less chance you'll be able to see it through. Just cave in his skull and be done with it."

Sarah rolls both shoulders and switches her God Arc back to sword mode.

"I think our paths diverge here for now. I'm going to be getting the civilians to defensible areas."

With that, she shoulders her God Arc and pats Shura on the shoulder with her left hand, taking care with her talons.

"The first rule is 'everyone comes back alive', got it?"

Shura nods, then smiles and carefully pats that godly hand, since it's not going to devour her.

"Don't worry about me. Before you know it, I'll have an army." She already sort of does, what with her four demons from home and her frosty allies. Negotiating for more shouldn't be too big an issue. By the time she finds that fucker, she just might half the demons of Hinoto-Ri ready to make his day.
