Chaos.

There was no other way to describe the mood in the city, the streets filled with civilians attempting to huddle to the closest safe havens. The demons who had walked a fragile alliance with humans, previously content to stay underground due to the fact that they knew they would be pushed back, suddenly filled the streets - attacking on sight when they saw humans showing themselves to be weak. The darker monsters among them relished in this new opportunity, ignoring humanity's pleas and destroying what little remained of the city's peaceful sanity.

Everywhere, the city was a tumultuous mixture of those still stuck in their childish forms, with some back to their older selves trying to fix what they could and reestablish electrical power and barriers. Some demons, siding with humanity despite everything, aided them by keeping the others at bay. Personas were out in full force, swarming the skies and pushing back invaders. But it simply wasn't enough.

Without a network and all of the news outlets completely silent, everyone was left to fend for themselves... and it wasn't pretty.

The Visitors had to act as fast as they could, still in their child forms or not. There was so much to do, and without any directives. No intel sent to their heads explaining the situation. The Wise Men facility was silent. No one seemed to be answering...

[OOC - Here is the City Page. Your character can be anywhere and either look for clues, help people out or simply try to defend themselves. Remember, there is no electrical power right now, and most of the areas of the city are dark.

It's up to you to decide what to do. Shall you go save civilians, reestablish power, go to the MAGI headquarters? The choices will affect the game. There is a planning post in the OOC comm, create teams, decide what to do and help save Hinoto-Ri by following this link. Just know that, tonight, someone you might have thought an ally will declare themselves a foe.

[Yurick doesn't have to be told twice. He rushes to the family the second Flynn has the Grendel engaged, pulling the stunned mother to her feet and trying to comfort their frightened child at the same time.]

You need to run right now! [He points down the street, away from the fight. He'd go with them but he's afraid to leave Flynn, even with the Samurai's summoned allies there.] Don't stop until you find a safe place to hide!

[With hurried thanks, the family flees the scene as Yurick turns back to the fight. Balor is calling to him, wanting to help, and though the Persona still freaks him out he needs all the help he can get. He calls out the giant stone eye, willing it to cast an Agilao even as he starts to charge another of his own spells.]

[The physical attacks are doing little to the Grendel; and the hand is getting heavier and harder to successfully block.

The Agilao hits the demon on the head, burning flesh and hair. The Grendel yelps in pain. Bringing its hand up to cradle the affected area. It swings toward its new target, leaving Flynn exhausted.]

"Watch out!"

[He sends a Bufudyne towards it, while his Beji-Weng tries to Debilitate the Grendel.]

[Unfortunately, Yurick is immobilized while casting, unable to avoid the blow. Just before he can unleash another Prominence, the Grendel swats him out of the air, disrupting the spell and sending him sprawling. Blood runs down his face from a gash on his forehead and he clutches his shoulder where he hit the ground first.

The Bufudyne ices over the demon even as Yurick strikes the concrete, sparing him a follow-up blow from the Grendel as it towers over him. Then the Debilitate hits as well, both spells giving the mage a chance to drag himself away as far as he can before he tries to regain his footing. He's injured, but his single-minded determination is impressive.]

[Flynn wearily gets up from the ground and sends a Megidola the Grendel's way. Beji-Weng and Arahabaki follow suit with Megidola and Megido The bombardment of magic changes the Grendel's attention again. It performs Mortal Jihad, landing a heavy hit on Flynn. He is dazed from the attack.

Oumitsunu sees his master down, and in rage, blasts the Grendel with Agidyne.

The creature is now weak enough for a final blow.]

[Balor appears again to follow the Agidyne with another Agilao. Yurick pulls himself to his feet as it hits, watching his Persona with growing amazement. It's not as strong as his own magic-- not yet-- but it's definitely far faster than he is.

He just wishes he could heal. Aching, he stumbles to Flynn to help the man up.]

Are you alright?

[He groans and blinks to get his bearings straight. It was a painful attack.]
Thank you.
[He gratefully takes Yurick's hand and manages to get up.]
The Grendel hit me rather hard. I believe with some rest, I will be alright. What about you?

I've been knocked flat many times. I'm not in any danger, but I'd rather not take another hard hit before I see a healer.

[Apparently his Inversion magic is useless here, as he has yet to see any enemy damage fields to invert into healing. If only his Persona had even minor healing magic....]
