[Zioryle picks up on the concern in Aoi's voice and gives a small, apologetic smile to her direction. He knew he had to accept the shadow, but it was easier said than done, especially what the shadow was based off of was not just his own worries, but also the same issues his best friend held back at home. He moves over to where the shadow stood, avoiding the flames as he did.]

What she said is right, you know. We did have a choice. I just chose to try to blend in with the surroundings. It was easier that way to survive. Listening to Vee's stories... that made me push you away more.

[The shadow has stopped spewing out fire at this point. All the emotion he was showing just a minute ago has washed away as he quietly watches Zioryle walk up to him.]

[Once he gets up to where the shadow stands, Zioryle gives a small, kind smile.]

We're not in that world anymore. I can be happier here.

[The shadow gives a smile at Zioryle before looking over at Aoi to give her a smile as well before disappearing into thin air. He gives a sigh, shoulders slumping, as if all his strength was drained out.]

Sorry you had to go through this. We should... [He looks at the flames that were still slowly spreading,] probably put this out and clean up my mess.

[She's tense throughout the conversation, only relaxing out of relief as the Shadow finally vanishes. Her shoulders droop slightly at first, but she quickly returns to attention at his last words.]

Mm... Don't worry about it. I'm just... I'm glad it worked out.

[They're such simple words; they hardly convey just how relieved she is that he was able to overcome his Shadow.

Of course... That still leaves the wreckage that was caused.]

...I'll start looking for the injured. Can you get out of there, or should I use my power?

[If it's telekinesis, she can probably lift him right out.]

Yeah, I can, don't worry. [He gestures at the flames, brushing it off to the side. The fires move along with his gestures, and lets a path to get himself out of the spot.]

...I'll put out the fire... [As much as it'd be cool if he can absorb fire, he can't. so he starts looking for effective means of putting out the fire unlike some halberd idiot who went and broke fire extinguishers.]

[She watches him brush aside the trouble with a faint look of awe, but she quickly shakes it off to nod her head.]

Thank you. I'll try to come help once I've found everyone.

[And with that, she begins to run, casting her gaze about for anyone who may have been caught up ni the flames. It's still not a comfortable place for her, but...

She can help right now. And that's what she must focus on. The red gashes appear upon her skin as she uses her power to leap, easily clearing the flames to make it to the other side for her searching.]
