Summary: why would you ever give this shit a persona and let her run free during the 13th hour

Warnings: Saionji's potential to swear and insult people (Saionji should be a warning in herself, tbh.)

[So. What did you expect to see today on the 13th Hour? Some muck left over from the Aries Boss Battle? Just another day hunting demons? Well... you might mistake her for a screaming demon at first, but when you come close enough, you can notice that the yelling is coming from a new Visitor.

Saionji's rushing down the road with a speed she shouldn't possess, howling incoherently and being chased by this thing. With her being half its size, she obviously doesn't stand too much of a chance.

You might also see her slip up and run right into dead end. Ah, fuck.]

...WAAAAAAH! Is this what Yomi is like?! SOMEONE HELP ME!

[Really a screeching harpy. As it backs her into a corner, though- it's about to swing its club down on her, before a big burst of light throws it off course for a moment. How convenient.]

Okay seriously what the fuck.

"Pillaging license?! Even when I'm dead, my title still stands, you know! Don't even touch me!"

SHE WILL NOT BE QUIET, LITTLE DEMON KID.

Desco sighs a little.

"Desco would apologize for what she is about to do, but...that's a lie; Desco never apologizes. YOG-SOTHOTH!"

The Oni is vaporized so completely by the attack not even ashes remain as Desco rotates in mid-air to face Saionji.

"Desco doesn't care what your title is! Desco's title is Final Boss Girl, so she automatically outranks you!"

"I'm-"

...Okay. No. Nevermind. Have her back up against the wall even more in fright, Desco. That was... certainly a display of power.

"...Stay away from me! Don't come any closer, you demon!" Staring around, she tries to look for an opening and bolts for it. Sorry, Desco.

In response, Desco summons her Velvet Persona - The Smooze - and starts flying after Saionji, using the Pass Through skill to simply phase through little things like walls.

"Hey! Queen Desco didn't give you permission to run!"

NOPE, SHE'S OUT, BYE BITCHES.

"It passes through walls?!" Have her run even faster. NOT LISTENING, DESCO, RUSHING AS QUICKLY AS HER TWO FEET CAN CARRY HER...!

DESCO CURSES HER LOW MOVEMENT SPEED. DAMN YOU, GAME BALANCE!

Okay so she'll just pass through a couple more walls, come out in front of Saionji, and switch over to her primary Persona, Yog Sothoth, and drop a TP Run on Saionji to teleport her directly to Desco's room.

THIS PLAN CANNOT FAIL

Wow.

The sudden shift in surroundings really throws her off her feet, and- the first thing she notices is enclosed spaces. This is a trap. This has to be a trap.

And then, in a rare moment of bad motor control, she slips and lands face-flat on the floor.

"...Uuu... WAAAAAAH!" Congratulations, Desco. "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME! WAAAAAAAAAH!"

Well, now that she's home, Desco will just go ahead and reabsorb her tentacles and unsummon her Persona and just lie down on her bed, propping up her chin with both hands as she stares at Saionji.

"...if Desco gives you ice cream will you stop shouting?"

This is not the life she imagined after death. This is the opposite of the life she imagined after death.

The little oni-demon-thing, though... looking around more closely, Saionji's eyes suddenly adjust to the pretty pink of the room. Plus... is she offering her ice-cream?

If Desco wanted to off her, it would've done so long ago, or at least, right now. Turning back tentatively, she stares for a moment...

"...Okay..."

Seriously. WHAT ELSE CAN SHE SAY.

"Desco shares her fudge ripple with nobody, but there should be some strawberry left!"

Just...floating up off the bed now, leading the way.

Well, Okuni vanished the moment she was teleported, so Saionji is just... by herself now. Looking. Staring.

The demon... it looked rather young. It speaks with a young tone. Its room gives off the impression of a fucking toddler. Was this all an act to make her a prime target...?

Quietly following Desco while still sniffing a bit, she does look around a bit too much. Always have to have an escape route in mind...

What she'll see is a pretty well-decorated house. Not that Otoha knows anything about those kinds of things, but Johnny kept the house decorated nicely. The house is fairly quiet, though there is someone looking out of one of the rooms.

"... Is this a friend of yours, Desco?" He's... not going to ask about her outfit. He's just not.

Blink blink.

"Desco doesn't even know Shouty Yellow Girl's name! She is planning on prying it out of her with ice cream!"

"Are you planning on eating my soul by learning my name?!" WOW, SAIONJI, JESUS. THAT'S CERTAINLY A CONCLUSION TO JUMP TO. Sorry Otoha, have her BOLT FOR THE DOOR.

"You -"

Of course Desco didn't bother asking her name or explaining anything or... he sighs. "She's not going to eat your soul. She's young, she doesn't really get human manners very much." Not that he does either, but. "You should probably calm down."

"...but Desco doesn't want to eat your soul, she wants to eat fudge ripple ice cream..."

Goddammit.

"She's a demon! Just like the one that tried to chase me down!" Oh. Well, she's abandoned all thought of ice-cream by now. The man is blocking the exit, though- and probably backing her up. What to do...?

"I bet your ice-cream is poisoned, anyway!"

"Why would I buy her poisoned ice cream? That's just dumb." Oh, goodie. He's going to have to give the Demon Talk again. "And not all demons are bad. How do you think that a human would react if you said all humans are bad?"

Desco is no longer entirely sure what's going on, so she just floats and stares.

"...does Shouty Yellow Girl not want ice cream?"

"What do you mean, not all demons are bad? They're demons!" Simple enough to her, really. "And that other statement isn't too off, either!"

Backing up into a wall slightly, she readied herself to kick someone in the face with a geta if necessary. "And no, I don't want ice-cream! Do you want to learn my name so badly?! I'm Saionji Hiyoko! Not shouty yellow girl!"

"Like people, there are demons who are jerks and demons who are nice." It was taking a lot of willpower to not start getting violent. He took a deep breath and looked over at Desco. "... You teleported her here, didn't you?"

He had a feeling she didn't just lead her home.

Desco looks sulky.

"...yes."

And now she is hurrying to ~~justify~~ explain herself.

"With all her running and shouting, she was sure to bring demons down on her, and they probably would have been unlicensed! Since Desco rules the Earth, she can't let demons that break the rules do as they please, so she didn't have a choice!"

Poor Otoha, having no idea about the girl's fucked worldview! "You could've beaten up the demon and teleported me elsewhere, not your house! And if you're being reprimanded by someone else, I doubt you're the ruler of anything."

Because seriously. "So you're saying demons are just like people, then? Most incredibly stupid and a fraction better off as the dirt beneath my shoes?"

"You're not exactly painting yourself in a great light right now, either." Don't even start with him.

"...Desco is just going to go have some ice cream now."
