Who: Open to anyone, but anyone from the first log will be doubly urged to come.
Where: Starting in Virgo, leading in to Gemini.
Summary: The next night, the song is back, and even stronger...but this time, it seems to have a purpose.
Warnings: Secondary, small plot event
The 27th seemed to have been a bust. Many stood around, discussing the strange music, before eventually retiring when exhaustion hit after the 13th hour...and boy did it. Strangely, the civilian population- even persona users -reported to not hearing anything at all.
The night of the 28th, it happened again. The same song, the same pleading call, to the same row of shops. But something did change, as midnight melted quickly towards the Thirteenth hour.
Another noise sought to be heard over the music- this one akin to television static. If one looked closely at the glass of the nearby shop windows, they could see something cloudy forming on them...but that was only a reflection. Nothing stood in that spot in the street. A figure took form amid the shimmered raindrops, only visible in the reflection of the rain and the glass. A ghost, glowing dimly, with eyes so pitch black that one could never see through them. And where were those unending eyes pointed? Up at Mount Utsugi, giving way to Mictlan...
It moved instinctively, heading for the structure without any glance at the Persona users it had called out to. The piper had it's children, and now it only had to lead them...
[ OOC: Feel free to try to interact with the ghostly figure, or just go along for the ride! And just to clarify, yeah the ghost has no physical form- it's only visible in reflective surfaces -so if you wanna follow it, you might need a mirror or something. If you want to know if something would work for that, just bug me on plurk (gaakishi)! ]

This was starting to bother him, especially since this time it was so late at night. When the hour rolled over into the Thirteenth hour, however, his concern grew worse; he and his team of all people would be able to pick out the sound of television static from anywhere.
His hand instantly dove into his pocket, pulling out his Midnight Channel glasses and putting them on. He zeroed in on this ghostly figure instantly, though he could not see it that well -- he could only see the creature in the reflection of the glasses -- but it was enough for him to be able to follow it.
Yu wasn't sure if the others were there, but curiosity was winning over the common sense to wait for them. He set out after the ghostly figure, feet pounding through puddles after it.

Of course the only thing he found was that strange ghostly figure - caught only in the passing reflections in the windows and rain. Yamato couldn't see it very well, and neither could he sense anything from it, which was beyond disturbing but-
Which is when he caught sigh of Yu. He remembered him, vaguely, from a strange conversation about that whole 'gay' fiasco, but more interestingly was that Yu seemed fixated on something that was otherwise invisible, his glasses-
Glasses reflected things. Of course.
So Yu, don't mind Yamato catching up to you. Thankfully the ghost didn't seem to be sprinting, otherwise Yamato would have been left in the dust...
"Can you see it clearly?"
no subject
"More or less," Yu replied, before fishing into his pocket for the glasses for the COMP, before handing them over. "Try these."
He needed to test something; could he see the ghost this well because glasses were reflective, or just because they were the glasses that could see through the fog in the Midnight Channel?
no subject
Nothing like the certainty with how his companion appeared to have.
"It's not very clear."
no subject
"I think it's heading for the mountain," he explained for him, reaching out for his glasses back. Poor guy would probably hurt his eyes if he kept trying to squint at the ghost like that.

"...We'll keep a close eye on it regardless. It might decide to change its course at the last moment."

"What are those made of?" he asked, his curiosity finally demanding he asked.
no subject
"Mᴀʏʙᴇ..."
The hushed words didn't last long- and the figure kept going as if nothing had been uttered at all
no subject
"...I don't know," he finally answered Yamato, picking up the pace after the ghost.
no subject
He really didn't like this - he really truly didn't. He couldn't see the ghost, only glimpses of it, and it was leading them to the mountain, which became a hotspot of demons in the 13th Hour. It was obvious what this was...
"This is a trap," Yamato sighed to himself, but regardless he still kept pace with Yu.

Izanami... please don't be the one behind this...
no subject
Ugh, he should've brought a hair tie or something. It was annoying having to deal with it when it was loose and wet. He slowed to a mild jog, letting Yu move ahead of him by a few paces. He was considering...the other could see where the invisible demon was, so perhaps Yamato could end this if they just simply attacked the thing?
"Have you thought about restraining it through the use of your Persona? You can see it clearly, after all."
no subject
"Izanagi!"
Let's see how his Persona can handle that thing.

It was getting frustrating quickly though, and Riku's just gritting his teeth as he decided that maybe it was time for a change in strategy and called for Way to the Dawn, taking a deep breath and focused his magic a little bit differently then usual.
It took just a whisper - "Freeze." - to invoke it and let Deep Freeze cover the next several meter in front of him, a thin layer of ice covering the street.
At very least, being able to follow it that way instead of searching constantly for a source of reflection, didn't make him question his sanity quite as much. Even if it did mean a little bit more work for him.
no subject
Thanks for that, Riku.
Yu went flying past the other boy, letting out an awkward and very not-proswag-like squeal in the process.
/quick threadjack, just ignore the shenanigans, Riku
no subject
Oooops.
He did at least look appropriately sheepishly, while walking up to the other and offering him a hand?
"...Sorry about that."
no subject
Two, Yu skidded to a stop once he ran out of ice. Unfortunately skidding involved half rolling on wet pavement. He ended up half rolling until he finally stopped face down on the ground, his lineface breaking in favor of looking exasperated.
"...s'all right."
no subject
In the meantime the ice around them had disappeared again, the temporary effect of Deep Freeze ceasing.
no subject
He paused after a moment, though, looking around, trying to figure out where that ghost had gone.
no subject
Then he caught it again, reflecting in one of the shop windows further ahead. A moment later he took off after it; not running but certainly walking fast as he searched for the next reflection.
