There is one smooth angel making his way to a certain door in the Pisces apartment complex. He's wearing a nice pair of brown dress shoes, pristinely ironed khaki pants and beige shirt, tucked in neatly, and serving as the backdrop for a brown tie that has no business being tied so well by a (theoretical) 13-year-old.

He is also carrying a bouquet of flowers. And candy.

And he is wearing cologne. Has the narration mentioned, he also combed and brushed his hair?

This is what happens when you leave your angel to go through puberty alone, Lady Palutena. He overdoes it by a mile.

Still, as confident as he may have seem walking into the complex, he grows more and more nervous by the minute, until he finds himself hesitating as he stands outside of Rune's door. This is going to go okay, right? He hasn't...overdressed, has he?

Closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath, he knocks.

"Um... she said it was a maid and butler restaurant," she replied. Honestly, she... really has no idea what that entails, but it sounds fun.

"...sounds a bit weird, but as long as the food is good..."

He offers his arm. "Shall we~" he asks in a pseudo-suave voice.

Rune let out a laugh, rolling her eyes though she wasn't annoyed by his attempt at being classy. She hurried over, slipping her arm around his and letting him escort her... even though she needed to give him directions to the place.

Pit spent 50% of Uprising on rails he's used to being the Man of Action while being given directions.

And anyway: "So...where is this place?" he asks once they've stepped outside the building.

(...he really, really hopes Dark Pit wasn't around to see any of this while he was inside.)

Rune told him, giving him the directions she had gotten off of Minako. "I haven't been there before, but she promised we'd get good service if we came on a night she was working..."

"Oh, so she's working tonight? It's always nice to have connections," he says, headed in the direction she told him. "Is she a friend of yours?"

"Actually, I'm not sure if she's working or not, but it's still worth a shot, right?" she asked, peering around anxiously. They should be coming up on it soon, right...?

"Is that it?" he asks once they've turned around the corner.

Rune glanced up, eyes lighting up at bit as she recognized the name of the place.

"Yes, that's it!"

"Hmm. Looks fancy. Maybe you shoulda let me take my tie after all."

...he did spend a long time choosing which tie to buy ok D:

"No way," Rune replied stubbornly, starting to tug him toward the place. "Besides, you were making my nervous that dressed up."

"Sorry!" he says, letting himself be tugged. "I guess that's what Dark Pit meant by smothering people..."

Actually no he meant your cologne totally.

"...Dark Pit...?"

Hey, Pit, guess who's looking at you like you're crazy.

"He's my clone." Pause. "...I should probably tell you about him over dinner."

"...somehow, that's not the craziest explanation you could have given me," she muttered, wrapping her arm around his a little tighter as they entered.

"What, thought he'd be the little voice in my head?" he says in a low voice. Doesn't want the host to think he's nuts.

...besides that the host is kind of staring at his wings but whatever.

"Honestly that wouldn't have shocked me much either; I was half expecting him to be an imaginary friend," she replied, an obvious teasing tone in her voice.

"I could come up with better imaginary friends than Pittoo," he mutters as the host waves them forward.

And once again, Latooni is oddly shocked at seeing people she knows as customers, though this time her eyes just widen at seeing the two of them. Especially together. Wait...had she actually given good advice to either of them? She couldn't quite remember what it was she'd said...

Right, working. She heads over to them with a smile once they're seated.

"Ah, hello!" she said, "I wasn't expecting you two to come here..."

"Latooni! You work here?"

Rune's eyes widened too; she wasn't exactly counting on seeing someone she had gotten advice from here.

"H-hey, Latooni."

"Oh...yeah, I thought I'd mentioned that...," she says, not sure how to react.

Oh, right! Her job. "So, let me get your server...oh, this is my table, of course it is...in that case, what would you both like to drink?" she asks, moving quickly along before she got as caught up in awkward surprise as everyone else in this conversation.

"Uhm... I'll have soda, I guess."

Rune tried not to turn pink. What was a soda...?

"Just water's fine."

"Right!" she said. She kind of wondered if either of them had been to a café before. She didn't wonder about having been on a date...not that she really had either.

"So what made you guys decide to come here today?"
